Silva Beach Review

A great good hotel and excellent care. Come there for the fourth time and decides sometimes more often.

Could not do enough for guests. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly and attentive. Room service was excellent.

Everything was perfect, the welcome, accommodation, catering, excursions with French guides, upkeep of the room.
Professional and warm staff.
Ideal location for visiting the city and the seaside.
Varied and pleasant services.
We will come back to that.

Brilliant holiday !!! We had never been to Crete before but we are definitely going back!!! Hotel lovely in a great location just walk outside the door and you have shops ,bars and everything you want ......people are fantastic very helpful Hotel is right on the beach it maybe a bit rocky but plenty of sunbeds . can't wait to go again

Beautiful hotel, tasty and varied food, friendly staff, excellent room (441) with a view of the sea and swimming pool. Only minus point is the all inclusive. The wine in the restaurant is not to drink, comes from a barrel and is not cold .. coctails and spirits are not to be copied fake with soda syrup. Furthermore, top !! Check out only at 12 noon, you can then put your luggage away safely and still have the option to shower.

First time for us. Very good hotel. Very satisfied. The staff is gracious to the small care. He speaks and understands a little French. WiFi works very well. The hotel is located at the foot of the town of Hersonissos. The rooms are perfect eaten every day. The hotel finally the small village is very clean. Bath towel provided for the stay. The catering is nikel varied choice, 4restaurants in the village. The Mediterranean Italian restaurant is chic and very very good.
Only small downside the pools are not heated but as the sun heats the water temperature is good.
We had a great time and we plan to come back with our two daughters

The organization of the meals was a disaster. No buffet at the moment, service at the table but unfortunately too few staff for the effort. Eternal wart times and half will be forgotten

In the city center, but also close to the sea. There are 2 swimming pools, bars. Food fantastic.

Very good hotel, it looks like a holiday village! The staff is courteous. The rooms are good bills. For the catering, the dishes are varied and change regularly. No complaints.

A very beautiful location, with very kind waiters, especially Mrs. Nina who was very kind and a perfect professional in everything she does! I appreciated that everyone wore protective masks and kept their social distance for Covid!

Very nice hotel area, room "southern" but tidy, good service, waiters all very friendly, very large selection at the buffet, unfortunately partly by the long warming only lukewarm. Beach chairs on the beach and at the two pools all for free. Along the beach several bars, where unfortunately at night at 3 partly very loud, which you also in the room has heard.

Nice establishment with rooms divided into small neighborhoods. The welcome is warm by all the staff. The buffet restaurant is excellent and varied. The problem is that we want to taste everything and at the end of the stay, the waist increases! Hotel very well maintained.

You can stay overnight in Pandemic Hotel directly! No cleanliness unfriendly reception! Even worse employees are clueless what they can work for, small rooms but only in the middle of town!

We are currently staying at this hotel (room 250) which is immaculate and has beautiful sea views. Unfortunately we return to the UK tomorrow, but I would like to thank all the staff and management for
providing us with a wonderful stay. The rooms are immaculate, all the staff friendly and a great choice of excellent food. Rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. I have no hesitation in fully recommending this hotel. Thank you again.

Way too loud music in the evening. You couldn't understand each other. Whatever we asked to turn down on the next record, really loud. And not all inclusive, you could get water for your room in the supermarket. ????
Make your own beds when your room was done.

Very cozy place, with great food and helpful staff.

Good room (had a refurbished). Relatives had a slightly older room. Food is good (all you can eat buffet so is never a culinary highlight). Service is super, friendly staff, top location!

Great food great atmosphere beautiful menu something for everyone worth a visit. Been coming to Crete for 9 years this hotel is the best by far.

Location is great, the food is inconsistent (sometimes a hit sometimes a miss), The internet is basically non existent (the speed is 4kbps), the rooms are out dated but not small - over all pleasant

Very clean place, friendly service serving help. Very good food, lots of choice. Including other local dishes daily. Everyone will find something for himself. As a traveling couple without children, we were very pleased.

Under these uncertain times the hotel is coping well with the situation...the staff are very helpful and polite.....however I think they are over worked and would benefit from having extra staff

Good location, very nice facility. We recommend. We were there temporarily because our hotel was overbooked. Our room was nice but unfortunately out on the main road. This seems to affect only two rooms. Otherwise, the complex has been beautifully designed, with direct access to the sea and beach chairs including umbrella, as well as four-poster beds (free for guests of Silva Beach Hotel). The buffets were rich, varied and definitely something for everyone. We would come back.

Very nicely located hotel with its own beach access on one side and the promenade on the other.
Despite the special situation this summer, the staff is constantly trying to ensure that your not always so simple guests have a nice and relaxing holiday. Even if we had a few small defects in the ceramics department of our room, they were rectified immediately. Since the mattresses were unfortunately too soft for us, they were also changed immediately.
Some guests thought it was necessary to reserve the pool loungers for the day with their towels at around 0.30am, but we found several free loungers at any time during the day. At meals one was seated and the drinks brought to the table. We also found it great that the staff served the food at the buffet on the plate. As a result, most of them were empty in the end and not so much was thrown away. Everything went smoothly so that we could enjoy our vacation.
Anyway, we were very satisfied and will definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel, catering at the top and the staff is great, no negative!

Food was very good and a large selection. Room okay, size varies a lot ... Also the size of the bathroom. We had booked an extra balcony with a sea view, our bathroom was a joke. Could hardly move. Likewise the size of the balcony. Here, too, very large differences. Hotel complex maintained. Staff also nice and hard-working. The hotel complex has 2 pools, at least one of which is fed with sea water. You have to like ... Hotel complex otherwise very well-kept.
The hotel has an evening program that changes daily, but it is quiet shortly after 11 p.m. at the latest. If you are looking for action, you just have to go outside ... one bar after the other, shopping, eating ... madness! Fortunately, in the hotel you don't notice anything from this main street. For shopping and strolling or the like, that's great!
Would spend the vacation there again, but with a different room.

Great hotel, all good! Little Russian, mostly Germans and French

Have just returned to the Silva Beach Hotel, after initial difficulties with the room, was resolved the next day, we are very satisfied. Food good staff friendly weather top.

My wife and I really enjoyed our holiday at Silva Beach Hotel and are coming back in the near future. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family as the service is excellent. We were looked after by all the staff and would like to give a special mention to Damian, waiter in the minion restaurant, he provided a great service and to the porter who looked after our luggage.

We went to Silva Beach from 07/15/2020 to 07/22/2020.
Pleasant and smiling staff (especially Nina) small room but
clean and pleasant, but following the Covid 19, the hotel did not offer a buffet but rather menu meals. A menu with multiple choices: 1 soup, 3 starters, 2 choices of salads, 3 large pieces and 3 desserts. This is really the hotel where we ate the worst ..... they bring us our choice of menu all at the same time (starter, salad and main course ....... it's cold, c 'is food of low choice (veal stew, undercooked rice ... without sauce .....) and many other menus just as BASIC as they are dry, without flavors, without garnishes (I don't would not dare to serve these menus at my table .....) the few vegetables we had were from the tin can (carrots, peas, cauliflower au gratin without sauce or gratin etc .....) even the Breakfast eggs were cold !!!!!! We were 3 times, during our stay, in the restaurant elsewhere (we were not the only ones ....) where there we ate really good good Greek cuisine ...... In short, abominable food in this hotel ...... We will never go back ......

Beautiful place, clean very friendly staff on all levels, pool bar, beach bar, bever queuing too long, spa on site, if needed, we are all inclusive and there is something for everyone, all nationalities and all 2 tastes, including vegan and vegetarian, nothing is too much trouble for anyone, you are not far from the shops, bars and restaurants, if you need to go out,, very clean around the pools and all bars, never a full bin in sight, you gave a voucher for getting a pool towel, yOu can change these 2/ 3 times a week, but if you don't return them you will be charged.if you have a late departure, there is a lobby room you can book a slot to have a shower or freshen up, there is a luggage storage area, one thing I will say is regarding the food, there are no allergen warnings for the foods.
If you like a walk, try the coastal walk uptown the new port, beautiful plenty of places to stop and have refreshments and stunning sea views.

We come here every year, love this place. I would recommend it to a quiet couple who wants to relax in a quiet rhythm, with taste and with easy trips and excursions.

A wonderful hotel in the shopping and entertainment center of the city.

Very good food, medium selection. Translational change the menu, really did not like the juices. The beach is sandy, but there are some stones sticking out. One pool with sea, the second with fresh water. The rooms are decent clean, not very new there are some minor flaws. From working at the hotel, many thanks to Eugenia (Russian girl).

My family and myself stayed for 7 nights at Silva Beach.
I found the staff to be friendly and very attentive to our needs.
Our apartment was very well presented in a village Greek style.
We payed for the allinclusive package and food and drink was of a high standard.
There are 2 pools on the site which we enjoyed during our stay.
To sum up our holiday was very enjoyable and much of this was down to our stay at the Silva Beach.

Superb stay. We will be going back. Very nice home. Staff at your service. Varied and delicious buffet (especially the pastries). We enjoyed the two pools and the beach as well as the friendliness of all the staff (a mention to Koskas at the beach bar for their cool coffees).
We look forward to returning.

Decent and high-quality "four". Good feeding, decent wine, undiluted beer. Even local alcohol for cocktails was normal, and not alcohol m colors and flavors. The rooms are large, the plumbing is in good condition, the water pressure is good and at any time, there are no problems with hot water. Unfortunately, it is on the road and sometimes it is noisy. Russian animation is not. Room cleaning is almost always in the first half and high quality - towels and sheets are not "tight." There is a good spa. Nearby on the street everything you need shops, car rental. If you don t want to go anywhere, then it s a very good place for a relaxed beach holiday. All-inclusive number of restaurant premises is not fixed, and therefore you can come to dinner at 7, and at 10 to come again and eat for the night of fruit and yogurt. In the long pants in the restaurant only new arrivals.
