Hotel very nice it feels like a Mediterranean village, I recommend

Superb hotel that looks like a small Greek village ... good food, close to the beach and shops. Very pleasant staff.

Just a great Hotel with an amazing kitchen. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic they are very anxious and they do their best for everyone.

TNot 5 star rooms but hotel has excellent facilities, pool area beach and food and bar service. Don't take any notice of Google maps as these are well out of date.

I recommend holidaymakers without children, because there is no animation for children, swimming pools for adults only. The coasts are hard to access, rocky. But everything that concerns calm, quality recreation for adults is wonderful.

The hotel is such an oasis of peace and quiet in the tourist city of Hersonissos. Fully neat greenery. It consists of a small separate bungalow as it creates a nice atmosphere. The room I had was very well tidy clean cleaned every day. Food very good varied. The hotel has its own beaches with sun loungers and umbrellas free of charge in the all-inclusive option. Two pools. Drink bar at the beach and in the evening on the hotel premises. Hotel service very nice and pomocna.Rey a great vacation.

Here are 3 years that we come and still satisfied home staff always changing 'clean room just lacks small shelf for folded laundry and teaspoon for dessert lol and tooth cure if not the top

Absolutely incredible hotel! Definitely worth a visit, the hotel itself is like a small village, rather than being one building the rooms are all spaces out. The paths around the hotel are beautiful with flowers everywhere. Both pools were great with plenty of beds and umbrellas by both pools and on the two private beaches. The beaches were sand and the water was beautifully clear. Bars near the pools and beach with drinks that you can take out to the beach. Food was good, a good variety and lots of Greek specialities to try as well as other options, I am a fussy eater and there was always something great to eat. Staff were excellent, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Entertainment was great, Nico, who arranges all entertainment is a credit to the hotel. Room was lovely and very spacious. Kept incredibly clean by the staff. All round amazing and beautiful hotel, would 100% recommend!

Seems to be a very nice hotel close to the sea, but not suitable for people with reduced mobility, due to the large distances to the facilities.

I do not recommend, a coffee of disgust, lack of milk in the restaurant and at the bar. Barmaid too busy talking with a colleague washed orders, no ice in the drinks. Food hmmmmm poor. No real aromatic Greek cuisine. Clean, big plus.

Decent place to stay on the island. The food is excellent. Nature is wonderful.

Staff and overall stay and experience very good.. If this hotel (and others) would actively look after the resident cats (ie neuter, spay, vaccinate) would have been 5 stars. Guests would gladly donate to this and Silva Beach could set this example to other Hotels on the Island.

Very nicely laid out hotel area. On the one hand very quiet on the other hand very centrally located. Super nice courteous staff. Despite Corona, everything was well organized for a pleasant and relaxing stay. Again any time.

All possible and imaginable services are there.

Had an amazing 10 day stay at this place, and could not recommend it enough. Staff were wonderful, especially Zoi, Geri, Eglandina and the lovely Kostas in the beach bar.
Our room was a family room, and if looking for faults the bathroom could do with updating, and not much storage for the kids in the main room, but that did not detract from the wonderful time we had.
Food in the main buffet restaurant always had plenty of options, including Greek dishes but also trying to provide plenty of variety. The Asian corner could easily be missed, but often had good options too.
I am sure people will find things to complain over, but in all the holidays I've had over recent years, never have I enjoyed a place so much that I wanted to go back to the particular hotel.

It is definitely worth its stars. We had a great holiday. The staff in particular was great.

Excellent reception, restaurant and leisure facilities (swimming pools and beach) are very good.
The room was simple but also very good, its only flaw was the proximity of a nightclub.

Ok hotel .. No beach, the rocks are very sharp. The food is ok. But the ridge is not what it was, it is getting lost in mass tourism. It was my second stay after rethymnon, it will be the last

Top located, very nice hotel complex with delicious food and extremely nice staff. Since I was tested for Covid at the airport, we had to be in self-isolation for 24 hours. Unbelievable how great this went. The hotel took good care of us. The security precautions against Corna are very convincing, we felt safer at home.

It was a very nice hotel! Good and clean rooms, friendly staff. The food was also delicious and varied, always fresh fruit and vegetables. Only drawback was the salt water pool!

The staff are amazing and friendly. They also surprised me with a cake and champagne for my birthday.
The staff were always friendly and welcoming every time they met us.

The buffets are generally good, but the fish are not always fresh. And they are often the same things. The rooms are clean. But we got two separate single beds, with separate blankets, instead of a double bed. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Good value for money.

Great hotel! Lovely staff! Food was a good range each day. Entertainment was brilliant throughout the week. Walking around town, seeing the other hotels, this even looks the best by far!! Brilliant time!

The meals are very good and varied, two beautiful pools, the hotel overlooks the sea with a beautiful view and a small beach. Negative: Our room was dated, fresh (we were there in October) and smelled of moisture. And bedding blah.

We had a great time. The director and his assistant are accessible and attentive. Not to mention the staff of the reception, maintenance and restoration respectful and very kind and always the little care. Rooms are cleaned almost daily. The food is excellent and varied. It feels good ... like family. Thanks to all the team for the attention for my birthday and to Odelia.

Food was excellent but drinks not so great IMO. Good hotel but definitely wouldn't go back to grease. The country is so poor that all the people out there are just trying to hussle everyone. 1 star down due to drinks

Superb hotel by the sea. It looks like a small village. From the terrace of the bar, breathtaking view of both the sea and the mountain.

We stayed last year and it was great this year not so great the room card lock kept failing so we kept being locked out of our room the constant battle for toilet roll!! The blocked drain in our room the leaking ceiling the tiny drinks the shortage of food the cockroaches Oh and change of room aftet the first night due to a maintenance issue then turns out someone else requested the room

Return to the Silva Beach Hotel after eleven years and I find it improved in the comfort of the rooms and in the design. Its position in the bay of Hersonissos is splendid, the most lively part of Crete 23 km from Heraklion, boasting a structure that harmonizes perfectly with the orography of the coast. Guests stay in fairly comfortable rooms, many of which have a panoramic balcony. located in individual features from three / four apartments built with stone finishing. Two large swimming pools, umbrellas and sun beds on the beach shrewdly positioned on the rocky coast, with the possibility of booking a reserved side beach, spa center. Three restaurants open from 10.00 am to 11.00 pm, a large restaurant and a la carte restaurant, organized with friendly and efficient staff, offer tourists a truly high service, compared to Greek-island standards. I recommend the "all inclusive" formula , it costs a little more, but allows the user to appreciate the full potential of the structure.

Let's start with the positives. This is the second time in three years that we go to Silva Beach after a stay in another Cretan club last year. The site is still beautiful and quiet despite the city and its many activities that is a real plus for those who want to have fun in the evening, shopping, renting vehicles etc ... The staff (reception, bars, restaurants, services ), is very available and charming and considering the turn-over in the area, we still found some employees (s) met 3 years ago and it's quite nice (Zacharias and Giorgos at night at the bar and the charming Simona in the afternoon). The rooms are ok, clean, but on arrival this is the gamble for the award. Beware if you come across a room on the street ... The pools are clean and well maintained and the sea water is just fabulous. The negatives now: the success of the pools, which requires you to "reserve" your chairs early in the morning (7:30, the best seats are already taken) and it's the same for the small beach. So, let's go back to this famous beach. Seats have been added everywhere on the seafront, which initially seemed like a good idea, except that now people staying in the surrounding hotels can also use them for a rental by the day (finally as the person in charge to collect the money is present since this gentleman also acts as lifeguard). The result is that in case of influx of holidaymakers from other hotels there is more space, including beach, for residents of Silva Beach! For discussion with the staff, this is a new management policy! It promises beautiful tussles in the heart of the season! And finally, I read in the reviews the excellence and the typical food side of the main restaurant. On this point I do not agree, the quality and diversity have dropped significantly in 3 years, the dishes are not often renewed and in terms of Greek specialties, just go out of Herssonisos to find small restaurants that will serve you seafood and other wonders of the country that will immerse you in true Cretan gastronomy and will not put you on the straw. In short, for us there will be no 3rd time. Good holidays !

A great hotel with a large pool and beautiful sandy beaches

Very friendly staff, always helpful in any matter. The bartenders are super at all! It's like we've known for a long time. The food is varied, the vegetables are fresh. Only coffee would like to be tastier.
The room had a sea view. For two people, the space is really through the eyes. There is air conditioning. Rooms are serviced daily. Everything is luxurious! We will definitely come back again :)
