One of the best resorts. One can find innumerable facilities at one place . Excellent food and accomadation. Most humble service. Clean and neat atmosphere. Reasonable rates for the facilities provided. Swimming pool with instructor. All age of people can enjoy the pool. Buffet style is highly appreciated. One visit will make the habit of frequent visits.

We were at the NH7 Weekender that was held at the resort. The stage and everything was located on the lawns which were beautifully maintained. The food at the place is decent and so were the washrooms. In general it is a very good property to spend a weekend. However it is more expensive than the other 3 star hotels located in the same area.

This is the third time am going to this resort in 3 years. I should say the food is improvised a lot, probably the best in Mysore. I stayed in Mercure last month and Silent Shores is definitely beating them on food. Housekeeping needs detailing and improvement.

This insanely detailed review shall hopefully clear all your doubts and questions...

ROOM: we stayed in the cottage type. The room was extremely spacious. The bathroom was perhaps the biggest i have ever seen. Very well maintained. The view of the lake was breathtaking. The patio was indeed a great place 2 hang out. The housekeeping and room service was prompt and friendly.

STAFF: the staff was helpful and courteous. They were eager 2 help out. The reception was excellent. Shout out 2 Mr Kumar from housekeeping and Mr Challappa for the go karting experience(aka in resort transportation) with his golf buggy

FOOD: the breakfast buffet offers a wide range of food. I understand that it is complementary, but it was not tasty. It is surprising how idly, dosa and omelette can be so bland and tasteless. Same goes for the milkshake. Bakery items were pathetic. Never had such dense croissant. The poori, vada, chutney and kesari bath were the few edible items.

The resort had 2 restaurants and a cafe. We had dinner once at the Ambrosia restaurant. It was poor, 2 say the least. The tandoor items like the paneer and mushroom tikka had an overdose of mustard, not tasty at all. The other items like the roti and dal makhani were very average and for their taj hotel like rates, a complete rip off.

It is not such a big problem as you could always go in the city and find good places 2 eat. I recommend Jalpaan restaurant for vegetarians.

If they improve the quality of their food, I would definitely give the resort a 5 star rating.

RESORT: extremely spacious and well maintained. A nice place for evening walks with a large variety of flora. The facilities were excellent. The swimming pool with its basketball hoops was really fun. The gym was decent, not great. Didn't use the spa cause of its exorbitant rates. There was a nice play area for small kids as well. The gift shop was really cool, lot of variety and designs. But the standout was the games room.

GAMES ROOM: the best games room I have seen in a resort. 2 pool tables, TT, foosball, 2 carrom boards, a play area for kids and more... It was awesome. The air hockey wasn't of good quality though. The darts were an absolute rip off(55 bucks for 10 shots). Still a great place. The attendant was very nice and kept the place neat and organised.

OVERALL: amazing place 2 destress and rejuvenate from the hustle and bustle of city life, definitely going 2 visit it again.

We had a very nice experience with our stay in silent shore resort Mysore. The kind of hospitality shows for guests are remarkable. We were worried about my 1 year baby's food , but that was really well taken care by manager Mr.Sujith which really made our stay even more better. Over all we are really impressed and would never miss our stay here when we visit Mysore.

Wonderful resort for a holiday, very nicely maintained resort ,it has a big swimming pool both for adults and kids , rooms are very spacious and we'll designed to have a awesome veiw of lake and swimming pool, as it's away from the city traffic and pollution you can have a calm and a very nice relaxed time. Spa, gym, indoor sports are add on to spend the time inside the resort..good break fast and food for lunch and dinner .. DJ floor is built underground with a super insulated floor which gives a great sound effect and which will not disturb the resident crowd..

Good value for money. Good sprawling place with lots of space for kids to play around and a nice big pool. Buffet Lunch was very very ordinary, but the breakfast was good. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it could've been.

Good quality resort having huge campus to walk closely with nature. Different amenities to the inside as well as outside public through different entry gates. Little far from city but worth it.

Disappointed!!

Disappointed!!

I decided to surprise my wife and planned a valentine's dinner at silent shores:

Staff:
1. Not very courteous
2. The forced the overly priced valentine Menu on us although they had the option for Ala Carte as well but those were for invited guests only. Seriously??
3. I stepped at the counter at the minimum of 20 times to get some sort of service, to get the food and even the check when I was utterly frustrated and wanted to get out of the place.

Food:
1. They gave one glass of cocktail for the couple
2. The Pizza was supposed to be heart shaped but it was 'Half' a pizza, semi circle with NO CHEESE and it was cold, I sent it back to get us a Hot Pizza and they reheated the same pizza and served it to me.
3. The staff was not clear about the menu, they were not aware of the next item to be served or even the list of items to be served.

Service: Poor

Overall: UTTER WASTE OF MONEY and TIME.

The destination is amazing, worth a weekend getaway plan from Bangalore, however the room service takes ages 60 mins for ice and a couple drinks to get ordered. The staff at the restaurants could serve better. The billing at the checkout was incorrect, we had to ask them to revise the bill the checkout process alone took 90 mins. All in all great stay, the room and facilities are amazing.

They have big property but the service is pathetic. Both rooms TV were not working & even After multiple requests, they did not come to fix. Very slow service, food was just OK. At swimming pool, life guard was doing waiter job & was not listening to any requests. They are very much unprofessional to guests. You will keep calling from room but they will not pick seeing your room number. Not recommended.

It's quiet a nice place to go out to on a short family trip. Very clean, landscaped and well maintained resort. Cottages are nicely designed, one will always feel cozy and comfortable, above all it is actually silent (a good amount of the time). There is a moderate size and clean swimming pool a good enough dance floor (not sure if this is available for use for all). Food will not wow you but is just good, you won't complain much. If you are a person who looks for impeccable service then you may complain about the staff, I just ignored that part. They do have a bar but I didn't like the set up. I don't think I'll enjoy anything sitting in that place. Overall, I would recommend this for a nice family outing or a mid size corporate outing to unwind, have fun and relax.

The property is very well planned with excellent use of greenary to enhance the landscape. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have all amenities. The quality of food is also fine, variety is also acceptable. Room service is good, staff is polite and caring. Prices are on the higher side, but the property meets expectations. Accessibility is also good, security is usual. Convention hall is good, with all facilities. Cleanliness is kept to the highest, and property is well maintained. Overall, a great stay with luxury and comfort.

This place is located on the inner part of the ring road and so very quiet. The resort is very big. Lot of functions too take place here. I think it can accommodate around 1000+ guests here. The resort is very neat and we'll maintained. The staff here are very friendly.
