Went to visit a party i the banquet hall, got a chance to peek into the property, from outside suties and rooms it appears great, lot of parkiing space, Open space, water fountains made with good sense. 4 star because not stayed yet, hoping to stay there sometime,

Service is pathetic, staff need to be trained to serve food and interact with clients.

I felt the staff was there in their own world, we had to ask them to serve water, when asked for food suggestions Staff was not able to suggest food,after clearing plates we had to wait for 15mins for finger bowl.

Ambiance is good. Food is of okay quality, not great. Quantity of food is less compared to other restaurants.

Very very poor place to go to...... Booked a cottage.... It didn't have a working toilet or door.... Later after making a complaint I was told our room was being shifted without even consulting me..... In the room we shifted to, the first thing I stepped on was a centipede.... Very very poor service.... The spa is OK but the bathroom stinks.... Very bad experience

One of the best Resorts I have been to in recent time in Mysore. Its spread with a large area. The kids play area is well furnished with lot of play items and the swimming pool is large alongwith a toddlers pool. There is voting facility for the kids and an indoor play area as well. The rooms or modern with excellent facilities and the wash rooms are Top class with Ultra modern fittings. The complimentary breakfast is a very high standards with a wide range of options. The location is not far away from the city hence easily accessible to all the major tourist attractions of Mysore. There are in house restaurants serving white cuisines..

A very large resort that has some great rooms and places to play. Lots of activities avaialble. Unfortunately it does not give many options to children. Apart from the small park they have. The food is good. The staff are friendly. The prices are a bit high.

I had been with my friends for 3 days & the service is pathetic. The food & service at Ambrosia is extremely bad. We along with kids were visting Ambrosia for lunch & dinner everyday and the order is always served wrong with poor quality and taste. Coming to room service and cleanliness, I think I called the room service to clean my room almost 3-4 times but couldn t find any response from them nor did they clean my room for the first two days and only the last day, they cleaned my room and that too while checking out. This is horrible & would never recommend anyone to this place !

The place is located little outside the side. calm, stress free time comes along once you enter the resort. Food was decent.

Bad Facilities and Dirty Toilets.

I stayed here with my family and had the worst experience of my life.
To start with:
A/C in the room gave so much trouble that on one of the night at 11:00 PM, housekeeping and maintenance team repaired the non-working and leaking A/C in the middle of the night which disturbed our sleep. Staff would use bath towels provided by the hotel, to the guest for cleaning the leaking A/C & wet floor.
Stagnating water in the bathroom in the First floor. Poor Sanitation - shower area gets flooded and the water fills the entire bathroom and then the bedroom (attached few pics of the bathroom).
Stinking bathrooms - all over the property.
Rusting dustbins, horribly maintained furniture.
At the time of billing after check-out the staff could not handle the card swiping machine and delayed my departure.
The front office staff is THE MOST RUDE I have ever faced.
I will never recommend this place for anybody to stay or for people who have travelled and know what is customer service for the price we pay.

Your staff is extremely courteous. They have ensured that our group was taken care. However there are small details, in the upkeep of the property which goes a long way.

Very good resort with peaceful ambience. A practical and huge pool is a real plus. Rooms and surroundings kept neat and tidy. Staff are quite helpful. There were a lot of renovation works going on during our visit and that took some charm out of the whole beauty. Will opt to stay again for sure.

It s one the best resort I would say in Mysore, decent property utilised very well. Nice rooms and amenities, also calm place to relax. Love the ambience and the hospitality of the people over there. Best resort for the couples and the family.

The Place is no doubt beautiful.
There is a pond in between which has a beautiful structure and colorful foundation.

There is an open sitting, grass and fun play stuff for kids.
The restaurant, didn't had enough table.

We had to wait for 10 mins still couldn't get a good table to sit.

Very rude staff. When I was checking out there was at least one other complaining about stomach bug after having food in there.

It's one of the best properties to stay in Mysore .Very nice and quiet place and which gives it a unique feel. it's got an amazing view. so either ways you get a good experience. The rooms are huge and the washrooms are quite big. The deluxe rooms have got their own sitting room and an attached bedroom, and you will never feel cramped for space. Food is very great and the room service is quite slow but you won't feel it. it gets quite serene in the evenings when you can enjoy the evening in the attached balcony. almost as if staying in a forest retreat. Special mention to the Spa which is one of the best I have seen in a long time.

Jacczi was not very clean, could see few particles floating.

I attended a social gathering at silent shores the ambience was nice but the food was very bad I wouldn't recommend for gatherings with food

Room costs are not worth as the facilities in room are just okay. Especially the bedding which is spring based and doesn't give best experience to sleep, expect back ache (superior room). Apart from room everything else is superb. You can book the cheapest room available and enjoy the resort. Well maintained greenary, superb pool, great staff , wonderful food at the lawn restaurant. We stayed for a day with baby. Staff made our time in resort very comfortable. Brindavan gardens is near but the main Mysore city is far away.

This was my second visit to Silent shores resort. Rooms are quite big and beautiful property. If you are planning to visit with infants or elderly people, try to avoid Basic room with mezzanine floor (Basic). Woode steps are steep and kids may get scared to take them. Also, toilet would be on ground floor and bed is on 1st floor. They have a big swimming but depth 4 feet. Indoor games are limited and most of them are pay as you use. No outdoor games. Overall great for a weekend getaway.

I went only for lunch amd tried buffet so great experience...
