The showroom offered a very good selection of fireplace inserts. We have a curved fireplace, a custom insert had to be made. It was done to perfection. Will and Willy did a great job making the installation for what was not a simple insert.
This is Grass Valley's best kept secret. My wife and I love this store. The furniture selection is terrific and the staff could not be more helpful. The best part is being able to shop at home and not have to go down the hill. Brian, who delivered our chair, was equally helpful and pleasant. I cannot recommend buying furniture here strongly enough.
The service at Sierra Timberline is amazing. Everyone polite, friendly, and competent. Jared in particular went above and beyond in making the order go smoothly despite some ambiguous language in the catalog. In the end, they were the best fireplace store I've ever dealt with and I have now bought four gas logs for my different properties. A+

Have been interested in buying a hot tub before, this business would come up on google search and I pictured a tiny showroom with a token hot tub and a few other things... boy was I wrong. Excellent showroom full of hot tubs, fireplaces, furniture, and much more. Excellent staff. Within a few months I have bought a hot tub and and also got a gas stove tune up. Through the course of this I have met or dealt with at least 5-8 employees and ALL are fantastic, professional, knowledgeable, etc etc.
Great selection of indoor and outdoor furniture and accessories. We bought a couch, table set, and umbrella and are completely satisfied.

I've been a customer of Sierra Timberline for almost 20 years now. I've bought hot tubs, lawn furniture and propane gas stoves. It's always really nice to never have a problem with a purchase but it's ever better when the company stands by you when there's a problem with a purchase. Our most recent purchase of a propane gas stove had a complex problem and after almost rebuilding the insides with no resolve.........Sierra Timberline has invited us back to replace the stove with our choice stove even a brand change at no extra cost to us. Now that's customer service and it was done with a smile!

We bought 2 recliners in January. We went back in April and bought a patio set. I love shopping in their store. Everything they sell is top notch. The sales people are very helpful. They know their products and they are not pushy. In both cases they delivered the furniture to our house in a few days. The delivery person was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. He set the furniture up and carted away all of the packing materials. I recommend this store to my friends.

Brian came out to install a retro fit on our propane stove, and perform the Annual service. He did a great job - even cleaned the back of the stove removing a spider web. He was very personable and took care to clean up afterwards.

We did not have a standard or easy installation. Will and Brandon had to do a lot of thinking on their feet and solved all the problems they encountered with great skill and good humor. Will was the main installer and I can't praise his skills enough. He is a great asset to his employer and to his customers. Brandon is learning the trade and came up with several good ideas himself.

Jared (from the sales staff) & Andrew (who came to my house to measure & assess the situation) never rushed me & did a great job of answering my questions & explaining my options. Jared put in extra effort to research an insert that would fit & still match my aesthetic.
Nick & Carl worked hard to carefully install the insert. I was so pleased when I saw it finished.
Chelsea & the kind woman who took my final payment at the register were also very polite & helpful.

Just had Sierra Timberline install a new wood-burning stove. Not only is it a beauty, it's amazingly efficient too! The staff at Sierra Timberline did a nice job of getting to know my needs and showing me the products that would meet them, letting me decide which I liked best. They gave me their best estimate of my cost. I decided to go ahead with the purchase and they set up an installation time. Will and Nick met that time precisely, and then they worked quickly to install the system. Will and Nick were both very nice, did excellent work, and cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased with the fireplace insert, which was a wonderful replacement for one that made a lot of noise and didn't really work very well. And the final cost came in under the estimate!

We just had WIll and Brian install our new fireplace and all I can say is wow! We've spent the past 2 years remodeling our new house and have had countless "professionals" in our home. None have been as impressive as these 2 guys. They were young and ambitious, but demonstrated a complete mastery of their trade as if they had been doing it for decades. They were extremely professional and personable, taking time to answer my questions and concerns but never stopping forward progress. They were genuinely attentive to our needs and kept a very clean and orderly work-site. We were made to feel as if they truly wanted us to be happy and not just give them good reviews.

Got a Vermont castings wood stove here in 2000. Had a critical piece I needed to replace the stove pipe slip connector to the wall... was in sick and affordable... very helpful!
Just had a small propane heater installed today in our bedroom. We got some good discounts this time of the year. The man, Scott Holt, who came out to do the site inspection, turned out to the son of one of Ray's Placer HS class mates. Very nice and did a very thorough inspection. So with the temperature in the 90's today, Brian and Jess came out and installed our heater. They came on time, were very friendly, got the job done first class. Brian did a very thorough job of going over the operation and features of the unit. They cleaned up very good. Sierra Timberline is lucky to have these three excellent employees. Now we look forward to the fall weather so we can use our brand new heater!
We are very happy with the service Jared and the rest of the folks provided in assisting us in selecting the right stove for the size house we have. The installation by Will and Brian was excellent. They had to deal with chimney and fireplace constructed in 1936 and never changed over the years. Their professionalism and consideration of ways to overcome the occasional hiccup in the process was outstanding. Everything was customer oriented, something not always present in today's world.

We love the Jotul Portland 500 gas stove we bought from Sierra Timberline, and they were top-notch professionals from start to finish. Dan was very welcoming but not pushy, guiding me around the showroom and answering all of my questions. He gave me brochures to take home and didn't try to sell me something when I wasn't ready to buy. My wife and I made our decision after studying the brochures, and everything went smoothly from there. We had a site inspection within a few days to plan the installation, and about a week later, Will and Willie came to put the stove in. They too were very professional, did a beautiful job, and Willie took the time to show me how to operate the stove and to answer my questions about maintenance and possible future options. They are wonderful folks at Sierra Timberline, and they offer outstanding products. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and cleaned up! Will and Willy installed a standalone gas stove for us which required running a gas line and re-routing a chimney. They were fantastic. They showed us everything, explained about placement of the stove, "offset" of the chimney, where the gas line would be, etc. and taught us how to do all the things with our new stove (remote control, turn on/off pilot, etc). The stove is beautiful and the hearth is cleaner after they left than it was when they arrived. Very impressed!
Brian Mendiola did a great job of servicing our fireplace insert. We scheduled regular service and while cleaning noticed we were in need of parts replacement. Ordered, installed and it now works great. Brian was very professional and is an asset to your company.
There were a couple of rooms in the downstairs part of the house that just weren't warming up with the central heating. We decided to get a stand alone gas stove to solve the problem. Shopped around a bit, and decided on one from Sierra Timberline. They came out and installed the stove and it works perfectly.
We also had an old wood burning fireplace insert in the main part of the house that we had not used due to safety concerns pointed out to us by the home inspector when we purchased the house.
Because we were quite pleased with the stove downstairs, and particularly because Andrew had demonstrated superior and meticulous workmanship, we decided once again to choose Sierra Timberline for this much more complicated and expensive project.
The project took a little time. The tear out of the old insert, which had been incorrectly installed, proved to be more complicated than originally expected. For a little while we were not quite sure that we had made a good choice. However, we are very pleased with the final result. Our new fireplace is beautiful and useful.
I would not hesitate to recommend Sierra Timberline to anyone.
