There were a couple of rooms in the downstairs part of the house that just weren't warming up with the central heating. We decided to get a stand alone gas stove to solve the problem. Shopped around a bit, and decided on one from Sierra Timberline. They came out and installed the stove and it works perfectly.
We also had an old wood burning fireplace insert in the main part of the house that we had not used due to safety concerns pointed out to us by the home inspector when we purchased the house.
Because we were quite pleased with the stove downstairs, and particularly because Andrew had demonstrated superior and meticulous workmanship, we decided once again to choose Sierra Timberline for this much more complicated and expensive project.
The project took a little time. The tear out of the old insert, which had been incorrectly installed, proved to be more complicated than originally expected. For a little while we were not quite sure that we had made a good choice. However, we are very pleased with the final result. Our new fireplace is beautiful and useful.
I would not hesitate to recommend Sierra Timberline to anyone.
