The grounds and restaurant are pretty flawless. Staff is usually nice and the quality of the beer and food are alright. Prices are legit.

Fantastic food, very friendly service, very nice location, u have got to visit if are arround
Fourth time doing the tour. I always learn something new! Such a great place to spend the day. Check out the new Hop Yard Bar!
Great service. My wife and I got in, ate, had a few and left in about half an hour.
Loved this place everyone was so kind and informative. I will go back for other tours
Went on the complimentary tour and it was TOTALLY worth it 45 mins with a funny and knowledgeable guide ending with AWESOME tasting session and a free gift. Fantastic Time! YAY SIERRA NEVADA!
Ken and the whole crew at SN are amazing giving away hoodies and food to help all of us that lost everything. Have always been a loyal customer but this was awesome to see. Support your local brewer!
Now that I had the tour, I love it even more! Great beers, great facilities, great vision from the founder.
Best brewery tour in the world. Hands down. Awesome
Decorated the Big Room at Sierra Nevada, the staff was fantastic & lunch was exceptional.
Been here 3+ times. I'm not an alcohol drinker. The stills are cool. I love the outside atmosphere and also how they use their own vegetables. The eggplant was good and is a personal favorite. I however do feel for just food it is overrated
The free tour is awesome, and not just because of the complimentary tastings afterward. Everything in the restaurant is delicious. I recommend the bone marrow and beer cheese pretzel along with a cold pint of fresh poured beer.
We took the Heritage tour yesterday and it was great! You see a cool video of the origins of SN Brewery while sampling their iconic Pale Ale then take a tour through the brewery while the guide narrates. When it's all done you get to sample another five of their beers.
The gift shop has lots of cool stuff at great prices. AND a sixer of beer is really cheap and there are some really hard to find selections.
Love this place! Yummy beers. Celebration ale is my fave . Awesome how sustainable this place is. Chico is cute. The food is delish. I love the butternut squash soup when it is in season.
The restaurant was awesome, the tour guide was entertaining, but the free tour was shorter than it wad previously. We didn't get to see the bottling or the dollar panels. Disappointing....
Just a awesome time in such a time of need for so many people . Thank you Sierra Nevada brewing company for your all doing for The Campfire evacuees!
An incredible brewery that produces outstanding beer, good food, and a free tour that is a must!
I have 10 chickens and when they see me with a Sierra Nevada bottle, they come running.
Was really disappointed with my meal Sunday August 12th. Don't know if the chef didn't care or because they we're busy, but as someone who eats there every week, I was very unhappy with my meal. As someone who spends $100 there usually, I left only paying the bill ($60) & not spending more.
Gave me a sweater abd a shirt free after the Camp Fire ravaged my community. Feeding firefighters and evacuees free of charge. Supporting the community one family at a time. #palealeforpresident
They gave me free shirts cuz I lost all my stuff was cool would have given me free food to but didn't want to wait
I had fantastic service and my food was very good, came quickly, and loved my beer. The dining room is on the loud side, so not great for conversation but the delicious bread makes up for it.
My family and I were displaced during the camp fire. We have been going to Sierra Nevada for years, whether it's holidays or hunting season. Tonight, Ken Grossman and the Sierra Nevada staff took care of us as we came together as a whole family for the first time since the fire. We will always be grateful for the support in a familiar space where we have come together as a family so many times before.
Amazing brewery! We took a "Backstage Pass" tour and it was incredible. This brewery has amazing staff, their process re-uses 99% of their waste for other things rather than sending to landfills, their beers are amazing, would definitely recommend taking a tour and learn how scientific the beer making process is!
It's Sierra Nevada. Pretty much the best company to ever exist, and they specialize in beer. You'll see when you're there!
Good place to grab a pint and a meal. They are fairly proud of their food, so expect to pay a premium.
A must do pilgrimage when you have the opportunity. The Beer Geek tour is the one to do.
This is a must stop if you ever come through Chico. Class A beer and food.
Beautiful facility! Wasn't in the public areas as I'm a truck driver. Very friendly staff, from guard house to docks, and they let you know your axle weights as well as gross on check-out
Online it said it was dog friendly but they are not. Even if no one is in their restaurant patio they will not allow your dog in.
Great company they make you feel like its really a family that works there. Everyone is very friendly with great hospitality.
It was as clean as a food grade manufacturer. Very similar to places that produce goods for human consumption, like eerily sanitized. I'd even bet that they ritualistically clean it.
A must visit destination in Chico, California, and the United States! Sierra Nevada Brewery has an incredible tour taking through the history and lifestyle they embody everyday. The restaurant is also one of the best places to eat around, and leaves you wanting more every time you leave. Recommended at the highest level!
Great service, great food.....and no stress! They took care of our entire bill! Such a blessing!
Awesome place to visit and eat. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, great food and beer!! Pub cheese was phenomenal.
One of the frontrunners of American craft beer, they never disappoint. The staff are always great, the tours are informative, and the beer needs no introduction. The brewery lives up to the hype that the beers create.
For a large brewery there is limited seating at the bar area. Everyone is crammed in like sardines. It seems like their attention is more on selling food than beer. Anyway, the cherry chocolate stout was excellent, pale ale and tropical ipa were both good.
Beer and more beer plus the restaurant and the big room.
A must stop if you're in the Chico area. Great beer selection, great atmosphere, great gift shop, and great prices. The visit is, well, great!
Beer cheese pretzels and a good beer are worth the visit. The brewery tour was informative and fun. Prepare to leave tipsy. The restaurant is good but not all dishes are great.
Great experience for my first time here! The beer is amazing! Can't wait to come again!
My son and I recently took the tour of the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company in Chico, CA. The whole experience was extremely educational and very interesting. The Gift Shop has something for everyone. We took the tour at 11:00AM and had lunch in the restaurant after. I was amazed at how great the food was. We can't wait to return again!
The hops head your was everything I could have wanted it to be. Our tour guide was awesome and being able to try my favorite IPAs straight from their fermenting tanks was so worth it!
Great tour options that are informative and hands on. Also, the beer is pretty good too!
Amazing beers and Greg was very helpful and friendly!! Will be back!
This is absolutely the best place to visit! Great beer, great people, great town!!! You have got to experience Sierra Nevada Brewery, it's a win-win-win!!!
Best Clam Chowder EVER!!!! It s only on Fridays I think? But seriously, it s sooooooooooooo good. Sorry no photo. I ate it too quickly. Aside from their chowder, their food is wonderful. Make sure you ask for the balsamic glaze and olive oil mix (it s complementary) and their warm bread....yum!!!
Great atmosphere and even better beer. Awesome selection of beer.
Beautiful campus. We didn't have time to do a tour or the restaurant, but wanted to see the brewery. We were still able to wander around most of it for free just self guided. Really cool to see, especially if you like beer!
Loved the complemantary 45 min tour it was super fun and got to samples at the end.
Food is good but I will never eat here again until the fly infestation is fixed. Last time we ate outside and the flies we're very very bad, this time inside to escape the flies but they were worse. We had to send back our ranch dressing because a fly drown in it. The solution was to get smaller container. I can't recommend this place but the food is good if you don't mind flies all over you and your food.
Love our hometown brewery! Beer and food are my favorite things.
Fun place to stop if you are driving through Chico. The food in the restaurant is excellent and you can do a small beer flight while you wait. The free tour of the brewery gives visitors a brief history of craft brewing, an overview of the beer making process and of course, a beer tasting to finish.
Totally amazing place. Awesome tours, great beer, one of the cornerstones of American craft beer.
Really nice people and they get you loaded and out of there fast. Scale on site
As stated many times in the reviews, the tour is top notch. The tour is free with tastings of 8 beers at the end. I ve done the tour three times over the past 25 to 35 years and it s always good, even when in their original metal building location. Most questions can be answered by the tour guides. This is my first time in the restaurant and I am not impressed at all. This trip I returned for the restaurant and did not do a tour as my last was about a month ago.
The main assigned wait staff looked dragging tired with no personality at all, I watched her with other patrons and it was the same. The other support wait staff did not display this sluggishness. My dish was a nightly special Tritip on risotto; the risotto was dripping wet with a few lifeless vegetables mixed in. No steak knife was supplied and I did without one, but it would have been nice as Tritip can be a bit stringy and this was. I also had the suggested beer to the dish and I felt it overpowered the risotto. I ve heard raves for years about the restaurant, but this was very disappointing.
Awesome experience and the team was super friendly and knowledgeable!
We did a brewery tour and loved learning about their brewing process and how they run their facility. They have a constant focus on being as sustainable as possible and continually working toward that goal, which adds an additional complexity to their process on top of generating a delicious glass of beer. I highly suggest any of their tours. We also enjoyed more of their beers and food at the restaurant next door, which were both very good. We sat in the outdoor area and the setting and service was on par.
This is a great place to tour! The staff is really friendly and the tour is free--plus you get to do a mini-tasting at the end. I like how sustainable this brewery is and that their focus is on quality and taste. I would highly recommend this place!
Great tour. Amazing establishment. Definitely will be going on another one of thier tours soon.
I took their public free tour yesterday. Got a great overview of the business and brewing, and had several good conversations with employees. The tour ends with beer tasting; what could be better?
Took a tour for my birthday with some friends. Will definitely take another tour in the future
Delicious lunch for a birthday celebration. Excellent service.
One of my favorite all time breweries to visit. Large with great food but not so large that it feels corporate. The beer is top notch. It teeters between being a mainstream success and a carefully made craft.
Took the tour. First time in a decade. Lots of changes. Followed with a good lunch at the brewery. What s good on the menu? Everything!
Great food and a good variety of beers. Service is quick and friendly, and the dining area has a very welcoming family friendly atmosphere.
The tour is really interesting, you learn a lot about the origin of the company and how they have worked hard to make their production sustainable at every level.
Fun fact, my father-in-law taught the owner how to weld out at Butte College way back when Sierra Nevada Beer was just an idea and he wanted to build his own fermentation tanks.
This is one of my favorite spots for date night in Chico. Especially on summer evenings, sitting out on the patio. The food is quite good, not the best burger in town, but the atmosphere is terrific. They've got a huge tap selection. If you have time, check out the brewery tour. It's really interesting and in depth, plus there's free beer samples and swag at the end.
