Great place for events. Only thing you should be concerned about is parking. It can get expensive... best to park outside the area and walk.
Shoreline is great, not like east coast venues where they would bust you for a roach in your wallet. Crowd is way chill, everyone is here to have a great time. Lots of toilets at the top of the hill, drinks are expensive but they give heavy pours. Lot scene is chill amd police tolerate more than most US venues. Get a hotel and ride a google bike back to your room after the show. Never had a bad time here.
Love the fact they have craft beer on tap. It had been years since I was last there, so it was a pleasant surprise.
Thanks Google for this amazing experience and connecting with fellow developers. I have made amazing friends there.
I went for a private event. It was clean and there were plenty of places to buy beer. Will go back for a concert sometime to see what that is like. Cool venue
Best arena for hillbilly music ever!! And love mountain view area too!!
Some of the parking staff is extremely rude - shouting and yelling for no reason. They are terrible at their job as well.
Very nice venue. However, I don't think the surrounding streets were built to handle the volume. Getting out after the event can take anywhere from 20mins to 45 mins depending where you're located in general parking.
Everything was poorly handled, very few food places accepted cards, waited in line for almost two hours in 90 degree plus weather for a 6 dollar bottle of water as I had no cash and they seemed unprepared for crowds.
We went for Warped tour and had a great time. The venue is really cool, the staff were helpful and go above and beyond for ADA assistance. We had people walk in front of us to make a path for my girlfriend's wheelchair, got priority entrance, and had a lovely time. Only thing I can complain about is the price of beer. 13.75-17$ per beer that would have cost 2.99-4.99 in a gas station is a little ridiculous. Also security is a little too lax. Some guy brought in a full basket of chicken and was showing it off in the crowd.
I've been here many times over the years and have always loved it. The chair height rules (lawn seats) really help ensure a great view / show and we appreciate being able to bring blankets and comfort stuff in so we can just show up and enjoy the show.
Great experience in general. Awesome venue to watch great shows at an affordable price on the lawn. Food is quite standard with high prices. Just avoid the traffic jams since it gets really heavy.
Amazing leg room and the view of the stage is clear regardless of the seat
A decent outdoor venue, though the walkway width is somewhat narrow for the crowd size this venue supports. Also with the current continuous construction in the area, parking for events here may be somewhat problematic.
Awesome venue! Spacious and lots of food and drink options.
Just came here to see Judas Priest & Deep Purple. Had some good drinks. Too bad they allow these welk resort people scam their customers.
i mean i guess if you have to
the lawn seats are usually adequately priced but the water, drinks, food, whatever, etc yo, they are so marked-up that it's scandelous.
pls bring food from home. u will not regret.
Good place to see a concert. It's been around for ages yet keeps up with cleaning and maintenance.
Great venue but can be cold so ask for a blanket or dress up warm
Shoreline Amphitheatre was a fabulous venue to see the Dead and Company July 2nd and 3rd.
Great atmosphere. grass seats are quite the experience
OK venue, but worst coffee I have ever had. It was weird, it just tasted like hot cardboard. The strangest thing I have ever tasted.
Great shows but if u are disabled and not rich ypu have to literally climb a hill to get to your nose lawn seats and the parking worse
The Shoreline Amphitheatre was built on top of a heaping mound of garbage, and every moment there reminds you of this. The Bay Area really deserves a better venue than this. Large sections of the lawn area have compressed and deformed to the point where they lack enough of a slope to see the stage. Actual seats are horrifically overpriced and still suck. This place gets an extra star for free parking, but really what choice did they have?
Love the grounds, seating options, and entertainment lineup.
Wonderful atmosphere! Loved the entertainment! Will visit again!
Really nice amphitheater All was great except the cost of a beer, soda, water, and food was ridiculous!!!
Make sure you call and /or resd their regulations regarding seating options for lawn seating. They have lawn chair height requirements as they would block the view for other people attending the concert.
Am arena with a built-in lawn deserves nothing less than five stars.
Really nice location!, r
Takes only about 30 minutes to get the whole location memorized!!
Not a fan. Parking alone makes me never ever want to go back. Getting into this never ending maze which leads to parking in some dirt lot about a half mile away from the venue entrance took about 45mins. Getting out after the show took (no joke) an hour and forty five minutes! You can't take public transportation because nothing goes out there. Inside you better not be seated in the 2nd section, because the performer looks like an ant. Nope, no video screens, unless you are in lawn section. I didn't love it.
Great venue for any large show. Google I/O is held here and I think it's the perfect location.
First time there. Good experience. Saw Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling
Awesome place with a lot of great concerts around the area. There is usually enough parking even if you can't make it here early.
Food is overpriced and event organizers underestimate what people want. I sat there in line at Stage Right and watched as the cooks made 15+ "bowls" that no one wanted, while wait times for food got longer and longer because all anyone wanted was chicken tenders and fries. The cooks even admitted to me that they underestimated demand. I get that like, millennials may seem like we want all these fancy foods and stuff like that but when I go to a concert sometimes all I want is just junk food.
Also, the sound mixing was HORRIBLE. You could barely here what the singers were saying. It was too much bass/drum focus and not enough mixing of the vocals.
Great and helpful staff. Great view of the stage. Bathrooms were very clean.
Was here for Google io 2016 & it was a nice location for the event.
The restrooms need some work, but overall it's a great place.
I like that it's not huge so you can basically go to a concert and see from anywhere. There are food and drink trucks so it has a very relaxed feel.
Would give it 5 but the concessions are mostly booze and not much to choose from otherwise.
Google IO venue.
It gets pretty hot in direct sunlight, but it gets cold in the shade.
The venue was large and I felt lost, but I had a good time.
Audio quality is pretty bad if on the lawn. Ambiance is great. Parking is decent.
Cool, outdoor venue. I recommend paying for a seat. The lawn is always packed and you will have to climb over people to get where you're going. Drink lines are ridiculously long.
Worst concert venue of all time. Most inefficient, pathetically designed venue with the worst staff, worst traffic, worst layout. Worst location. Lazy staff directing traffic into the wrong places. Hours to get a parking spot. Hours to get in the show, hours to get out.
cozy hotel with nice little cafe. The beds were nice, and were a great addition to my post-BFD recovery.
Cool place to see concerts. Good food options though you might need to get a second mortgage to afford it. Wish it wasn't such a pain to get there from Sac.
One of the worst venues I've been to. It will take you two hours to drive the one mile next to the amphitheater. Traffic is an absolute joke! It's impossible to make it to the show on time. If you have lawn seats you are so far away and high up that you can't actually see the stage - kinda disappointing. They seriously need to figure out the parking situation, until then I won't be coming here for anyone. Make the extra drive and go to concerts in Oakland!
Love this place. Everytime I go back, all the memories of past concerts come rushing back.
Great place to spend all day at our just an evening. If you really want to see the performers then i would get reserved seats. If not cheap priced lawn seats is the way to go.
Traffic was a night mare , drinks way over priced all in all good show
Been going to Shoreline for almost 30 years to see music and comedy shows. My tips: bring layers, a sealed water bottle, and your own snacks. If you're on the lawn, these days I bring my own chair (or rent one) and a waterproof picnic blanket. I leave post show snacks and drinks in the car and just wait out the parking lot traffic.
I was totally disappointed with the fact that no action was taken tonight while the Offspring was preforming. My daughter and I came to see Sublime with Rome and a bunch of idiots start running around in this huge circle running into us at full speed (down the hill). It is ridiculous that my daughter and I had to have our backs to the stage and bracing ourselves for impact. I understand that people get carried away, but the fact that not one staff member came over to calm the situation is completely unacceptable. This was our first concert here and I was so excited because the weather and the amphitheater were both awesome.
Great venue to see music acts. Definitely would return to see more!
The parking for ADA is fantastic here. The people that work here are very friendly and accommodating. ADA parking is super close to the front entrance so makes it nice that you don't have to walk too far. Now... Getting to your seat is a whole another issue. This place is huge and you're going to do a lot of walking so be ready and wear some comfy shoes. Sound system was awesome concert was great. Enjoyed so much I might be back for future shows.
Great shows, but parking and traffic make slow going
