Great people. Nice layout to the venue. Good food too.
I love this venue for it's great shows and popular artists.
Love it. Great venue and great staff and atmosphere
You can have a 5 star experience if you arrive 3 hours early to park
It's better to park outside and walk in than get stuck for 3-4hrs in the parking lot after the show.
Great venue. Note though that if you are going to a concert during the week... GO EARLY! There are many companies in the area and concert going traffic competes for road space with evening commute traffic from these companies. Give yourself at least two hours ahead of concert time due to traffic, parking, etc. Or park far and walk, bike or scooter to the venue.
Descent seating. Good view from most angles. Food trucks inside offer flavorable choices. Live Nation VIP Bar well stacked
they are very picky about lawn seat chairs. must be straight bar.
Awesome concerts free parking ,food ,drinks.this place is great!!
Amazing venue! Been there for many concerts and it's always been awesome!
The traffic for getting into the parking lot was unacceptable. Got to the venue before the show began. Did not get into a parking space until an hour and a half later. Things should have been much more organized. The sound system there is bad as well. Especially for a place of its size. It's time to upgrade. Thank goodness the show we went to see made up for it although we missed half. Even the performers talked about how hard and awful it was to get into the venue.
Great place for all kinds of events, love lawn seating
Literally camped here for 3 days during Google I/O. Attended Google Keynote, Developer Keynote and other sessions in the theater. It can hold 5000+ attendees. Just a note on the toilets avoid the ones that are near the lawns. Use ones near the entrance.
Mountain View's premier venue for large engagements. Lawn area plus seating in plenty of handicap access. Food in vendor areas also.
I know it was a Benefit Concert. However $25. For a Cocktail for my friends!!#WOW OUTTA HAND!!!
Very nice venue but horrible parking situation during a big time concert
This reminds me so much of the verizon ampitheater we had down here in SoCal. I got the opportunity to see my favorite band here and this venue made it all the better <3
Such a spacious place. Couldn't get enough of it. Literally can host any imaginable event highly recommend it.
Matchbox 20 concert was amazing...this was my first time there an I would definitely go back again...the staff was very friendly.. Great experience thank you
Shoreline is a great time no matter what kind of music you like. Lots to eat and treasures to buy
I love Shoreline for the nice weather and relaxed vibe. Have seen Dead and Company here twice and would definitely visit just for location. The sound is great.
Had great seating and even better was the phone app for ordering food and drinks form you're seat, faster than you could go and get food by about half of the time
A very nice place with excellent views and good events. Despite the traffic, it is easy to arrive. Beware of sunstroke.
Went to see Blink 182 - sound was horrible, and it seemed like they oversold the venue somehow - perhaps the lawn? It took an hour to get from 1/2 mile away from the venue to park, and over two hours to get out of the parking lot. Two. hours. How does this even happen? People were turning their cars off and sitting, because for two hours, no one moved. People starting jumping the curb into the grass to get out. The people directing traffic had no clue what they were doing, and there were no clearly marked signs.
Saw Imagine Dragons, GroupLove, and K-Flay here and they were great along with the atmosphere. Can be a little cold if you're in the grass area, bring a canvas to sit and blanket to keep warm
Very beautiful place to hike along the golf course or next to the pond.If you are here by 630am you can see Sunrise ,right behind the small hillock, it's gorgeous to see the Sun break out of clouds,it's quite mesmerising.
There are few trails here, with plenty of birds to watch. [near the swamp].
It's good 4 to 5 mile hike.
What happened to this place?! I grew up coming here and loved it. Went back tonight for a show and it's falling apart. Women were walking between all the bathroom stalls because none of the locks lined up to the doors. When someone would come into stall next to you and shut door yours would fly open. Sound system absolutely sucked. I could hear everyones conversations during the concert because the sound was so low. Really disappointed and never noticed you really can't see the stage at all from the lawn.
Needs upgrades to sound and video system for lawn area
Traffic is horrible. I get the VIP parking pass. the 2nd level, its hard to see over the person in front of you, even when they are sitting in their chair.
Super awesome venue for exhibitions and big conferences.
Great spot, tons of room and seats, good view of the stage even from the grass
Locals with a mountain view resident card get a chance to purchase 4 seats the day before the 1st on sale date usually saturday 10 am 24 hrs beforethe sunday 10 am ticketmaster/BGP mayhem with the bulk of the seats are located in secs 103 & 203 always arrive 45 min before start time walk or bike or skate if u must be part of the oroblem and drive park at the sports page or at Costco on rengstorf
I have had good and mediocre experiences at Malabar. Their burgers are pretty good. I had a rib special on my last trip that was disappointing. Their brownie Sunday is pretty on point and the cheesecake is good but the crust was a bit soggy. I will go back but I am not super eager.
Wonderful venue, but getting in an out is horrible allow several hours for being able to get to parking.
Work site... Google staff were on the house from all over...
Classic outdoor venue. Prefer lawn typically to get up and dance. Loosing one star because parking can be insane getting out with gen parking. Takes an hour plus if you like to watch the whole show
Love this venue but still the most expensive drinks ($26 for a 12oz bottle of anchor??? Go with the $15 for whatever may be on draught, usually just lagunitas and blue moon...) of any ampitheatare/stadium/fairgrounds. As for the food it is average in price ($9 fries, $17 sandwich) but slightly below in taste.
They refuse to ho or re entries even after I have a wristband and paid 50 bucks to get in. On top of $16 beers this is rediculous.
Awesome venue, came here the first time to see Korn and Alice in Chains. Love the fresh air and sitting under the night sky while jamming. Had a blast, just wish they could figure out a better system for leaving. There was like one exit for the entire overflow parking lot, took ages to leave.
In A Nutshell:
-Saw Carlos Santana back on August 29th, 1992, when I went to my very first concert, which happened to be at Shoreline Amphitheatre.
-The setup/layout has seemed to stand-up to the test of time.
-The sound system still sounds awesome, the views are clear regardless if you are in the lawn.
-The only thing that lacks is the ingress/egress to the area. Traffic is a beast.
-My recommendation is that you don't drive, either have someone drop you off (i.e. wife, Uber, BFF, etc...) and walk that short mile.
-You'll SAVE a lot of time, stress and money.
-Speaking of money, $16 for an IPA (wow).
Overall, most recently saw Future, Migos, Drake, Lil Wayne and K-Pop the past 4 years here. All great concerts!
I do security for the venues here. My favorite spot to work. The staff is like family.
I love going to this venue for concerts. I mostly sit inn the bowl but have sat on the lawn as well. Great concert experiences. And love that it's outdoors. Makes it nice for summertime concerts.
Been to several concerts here. Everything from matchbox 20, Goo Goo dolls, breaking Benjamin and Five Finger Death Punch.
I seen posty there. Best show ever. Their security is nice.
10,000 ticketholders were outside in line at the start of the show last Saturday, 6/1/19, when the management at Shoreline decided to use 24 security stations for 25000 people. The 3 hours from gate to showtime allowed only 10.5 seconds per ticketholder on average, for a metal detector security bag check station. It was neither slow patrons nor strict security that made the real check time closer to 30 seconds each. It was an efficient situation at the gate itself. I wonder if the managements unrealistic plan was actual stupidity, or if it was a deliberate underbudgeting, to project higher profits, to entice investors. Since the financial burden of their failure falls on 10,000 individuals who wont be compensated, the risk seems to have paid off. Short of a very public recognition of this failure and a good plan to avoid it's recurrence, I'd say boycott Shoreline.
Went to see Jim Gaffigan - my face HURT from laughing so hard!! Great venue, as always. Have seen many concerts there over the years, but this was the first time I didn't drive. Took an Uber to/from & it was super easy.
Always get VIP parking if you can and the signage to get to the lot isn't great. If you drive, getting in and out is a nightmare so add extra time to your plans.
Other than the traffic getting here we had a wonderful time. The restroom we're clean when we arrived and it was easy getting to our seats and even leaving in the evening was easy. We will be coming back.
This is a great venue. The only major con is trying to get out. Traffic wasn't the worst, but it was a pain.
I've gone to this venue several times for concerts, festivals, and standups. Unlike other venues where it's mostly dirt, Shoreline is mostly like a giant parking lot. Food is pretty shite, recommend you bring some in. You can enjoy your experience even from the lawn. Security is pretty bad though in the way you can report someone but they won't do anything until the fight is LITERALLY happening. What's the point of security if we don't feel safe? They also do nothing about public drunkeness and allow the winos to ruin shows by being loud and obnoxious. Ultimately though, this is the ONLY and (therefore) best venue in the south bay. It's either this or SAP center and I would prefer this.
Great place, it can have better sound and displays.
Nice place a bit small when crowded hard to get in and out in this area cause of traffic.
Still need desperately to repair their bathrooms. My stall door had no lock and was barely hanging on the hinges. About 7 others had girls holding the stall doors closed for their friends. I was alone so I had to MacGyver and stuff roughly 10 seat covers in between the door to keep it mostly closed. Come on, it's not that hard or expensive to replace stall locks and hinges.
The food was good, as were the prices. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked.
Our biggest issues were parking and the grounds. To get to parking we had to drive down a sparsely marked, pothole filled, gravel road and wait outside an unmarked gate. When the gate was supposed to be open (at 6pm) staff informed us they forgot the keys and it would be a longer wait.
It felt unorganized with lack of signage, from attempted to find parking to walking to the gate from the parking lot to leaving afterwards down dark unmarked driveways.
