Its the venue built for The Dead by Bill Graham. Prices for any concession outrageous. 14 dollars for a domestic light beer. 18 dollars for a less authentic Super Burrito than even Taco Bell could through a frito lay product at. It still has a warm place in my heart. Never the best place to see a band..
But the festival feel and vibe is alwa ys cool.

Shows that end sunday to thursday necer really run longer than 11pm ... City ordinance.

Meh. Saw Muse, they were great, and the place was packed. If you are short and you have lawn "seating" when the place is packed you will not be able to see the stage. The food is pricey and some of the options are basically cafeteria food. We ate at a food truck which was good. Took 45 mins to get from 101 to the parking lot. Except for the music itself, the place is terrible

A great venue for concerts (originally designed for the Grateful Dead). Parking is a challenge and can get real bad. The May 31 Dead show this year was a horrific parking failure. Even paying for VIP parking did not allow us escaping the 3.5 hour time it took to get into lot. The next night was a little better. Hopefully Shoreline will get this terrible part of their business smoothed out.

The Live Nation staff are not very professional nor friendly. It IS possible to be friendly customer service and direct customers where to go in a professional manner. But Live Nation just doesn't seem to have figured it out yet. I'm rating the venue. Not the band. Show was good.

This event venue is well thought out. I enjoyed attending The Warped Tour 25th anniversary concert here. Easy parking, plenty of food vendors, and barely any water lines for the free water.

This place was packed for the concert I attended, but surprisingly easy to navigate around inside the amphitheater. The sound system was awesome and the angle of the seating makes for a good show even when filled to capacity. The food vendors there were all very nice and helpful, but the guy with the rice bowl truck went over and beyond what I expected. I had ordered food for our whole group and the total was over $80. I forgot that I had bought the last round of beers, so I only had like $62 in cash on me. I was going to go to the ATM, but before I could get the location, the guy asked what I had on me. I told him and he took the $62 and said not to worry about it and to enjoy the show. Didn't see that coming and was very greatful as he restored some of my faith in humanity as all you see nowadays is greed, hate and selfishness. Thanks rice bowl guy...Thanks!

Venue gets a solid 4 stars, parking gets 1 star. Traffic is insane trying to get to or leave this place. Lawn seating means the act will look tiny but the sound is still good, and you get to lay out on a blanket. Food and drink options are probably costly but plentiful. There's a little first aid kiosk near the bathrooms where they give out free earplugs. Nice!

Getting into Shoreline is a nightmare. The traffic in the area is brutal, and there s no where to park except the on premises lots, so you have drive all the way up to the venue. Then, security is miserable and takes forever. Sound is good though.

Shoreline itself is excellent, but god damn I will never go to a concert during the week here again. It took over an hour to even get off the freeway, and everything was jam packed. The concert started before thousands of people were even in the stadium. Google should have been required to share their parking when the city allowed them to take up so much space in the city during events like this.

Cool

My friends and I had a great night seeing the Pixies and Weezer. We sat on the grass and while the stage was small and distant, the projector and screen were large and easy to see. The sound was great--not too loud and not too quiet. Drinks were embarrassingly expensive ($15 for the mid-range beers), but the Jim Beam stand had a $6 shot. The men's room line was surprisingly efficient, even between the two headliners. If the band is right, I'd love to see another show at the Shoreline.

Santana was great, but the Shoreline security were overtly rude and aggressive. An Asian gentleman in front of us was forced to throw away his folding chairs before entering, only to find thousands of people with them inside. I don't know what the policy on chairs is, but this was humiliating for the man, and uncomfortable to witness.

Later inside, I made contact with the security guard in our row so I could be recognized and let back to my seat. After returning, they insisted that I show them a ticket. The ticket is on my wife's phone, like every other person in attendance. This rapidly escalated, until the security guard from my row came by and said I was cool. Three of our neighbors had similar experiences.

It's a shame that such a wonderful experience was tainted by such needless bullying.

Parking ( General parking) was a bit weird a little bit of a hike but free!. The theater, staff, concessions, and everything was excellent.
(I will say the sound was a little less than perfect we were 12 rows back just a little to the left of center stage and I could definitely heat Distortion in the speakers. Not horrible though)
