Went here for lunch today. The staff was friendly. Even woth the lunch rush our waitress was very polite.

The breakfast bar, with made to order eggs, is still a great deal. Service was fast and friendly, and it was a pretty good price. You won't be wowed by the food but you'll get solid value for your time and money. Worth a stop.

Food was decent, it was a quick place to stop while traveling so that everyone could find something that they liked. The decor was kind of blah and the service was okay.

Waited for a fork way to long for a buffett.. the prime rib was old and dried out

Just typical American buffet food. Nothing spectacular but good.

The flagship Shoney's franchise. This would be a hard 5 if it weren't for the fact that Fox News is always playing on the TV. Salad Bar is legendary.

The only thing that was good at that shoney's was the waitress. She was kind, courteous and attentive. We paid $60+ for a worthless meal. Prime rib awful. Chicken awful. Fish under cooked and awful. The short ribs awful. The ice cream and the bisquits were the only food worth eating.

The food was great,but the air conditioner was broken. It was 85 degrees in the restaurant. My cousin started coughing and almost threw up.

Are server was grumpy, and the food was really bad. The place had a dead fish smell throughout the restaurant.

Manager openly complained of his waitresses in public...so not professional and It ruined my evening. He took our waitress from us and put her on register leaving us stranded. I had to take our coffee cups up to the service entrance to get a last cup of coffee. Not her. Fault....service failed because of poor management... so sad.

Friday is prime rib and seafood. Arrived around 6:30pm 1 piece whole catfish left. This happens on a regular basis. I am not fond of catfish nuggets.

THIS PLACE HAS ROACHES!!!! THERE WAS A SMASHED ROACH ON OUR SYRUP BOTTLE. AS IF SOMEONE KILLED THE ROACH CRAWLING ON THE BOTTLE AND LEFT IT THERE. THIS WAS A VERY UNPLEASENT EXPERIENCE!

Not a very good selection of food. Summersville is much better.

Service great. Some of the food on the hot bar was cold. Bathroom clean, but always has sewer smell.

Great down home cooking and service, one of my grandmothers favorite places.

If you have any level of Glutenous allergy, DO NOT EAT HERE. I've never had ruder service from staff. My mother and I were ignored. The manager checking out was the only kind face that day.

Harry my server was exceptional. Food was good. Nice and fresh. Hostess was also very friendly.

Husband and I went for dinner July 19, 2016. While sitting there, my husband said there's a roach crawling on the glass wall beside you, as I looked there was another one on the ledge, when it fell onto the table, I exit. I told the manager after she ask how was everything. She offered half off. We go there regular, but I don't know when we will be going back.

It's an ok place to have breakfast, but our server Robyn at the Kanawha Boulevard location was AMAZING!!!! She should be an example to all servers!!!!

The food was not that good. The service sucked it took 10 minutes for her to take our drink order that was the only time we saw her until we was waiting 15 minutes for the check

Good clean place to dine on the cheap for vegetarian or non vegetarian alike. Very friendly staff. Close to Tesla parking charger too.

First time at a Shoney's, and my last. So gross. Daughter and I both had stomach aches after.

We visited with relatives including 5 kids under the age of 12. It's a great set up for kids, the food was good enough, and the staff was uniformly kind and helpful.

This place has come up within the past year or so. They now have a bar and serve alcohol. They offer very cheap beer (cheapest around town). The food is pretty good. I recommend the hot fudge cake.....so delicious. They even run a special every so often for a free piece of the hot fudge cake.

Harry is the best waiter. He offered us great service. Definitely will be comming back and asking for Harry.

Bacon in breakfast bar was real greasy, scrambled eggs were good,,not inclined to come back

The waitress was AWESOME but the food was HORRIBLE! Eyvonne got a great tip from us but the food was not worth our money!

Roach and fly infested around the buffet and adding the drinking bar didn't help it is not family friendly anymore

We were passing thru and stopped since it was still open at 10pm. Our waitress definitely let us know without saying she wanted us gone immediately. Manager was friendly enough.(the reason I even gave it 2 stars) We ordered steaks medium rare. Mine was rare and my husbands was well done no flavor what so ever. They were pretty gross. Side of green beans were canned and barely even warmed. Best part of meal was the salad from.the salad bar and some of lettuce was brown.

I hadn't been to a Shoney's in years and was pleasantly surprised!

It is shoneys Buffett so it is what I expected. The service was ok - the food was good but not really good. They have a senior deal on the buffet so it was a great value. I would stop by again because of the variety of food on the buffet and the senior pricing. The ice cream machine was broken so that was a little disappointing

Had Christmas dinner there. The buffet was kept full and fresh. The food was excellent.

Was very disappointed in the bar and food. The tbone Tuesday was the best part of the whole meal. Bar food was tough and didn't look appetizing.

Buffet bar. Fish tenders were reminiscent of Arthur Teachers. Fried chicken is always good. Comfort food is always fresh.

I eat here at least twice a month, the food is good with reasonable prices. If you can, get Dolly as your waitress.

Over priced for the bar. If you order off the menu and it is on the bar they get it directly off the bar
