Quality, Quality, Quality. The food is phenomenal. The service is awesome. I must try if you are in the area.

Great date spot. Not too fancy or aggressive, but you can still feel personal with your date.

My girlfriend and I love this restaurant. We have been coming here for the past two years now, and everytime we are always pleased with the quality of the food, and good service. If you love seafood, then definitely check this place out!

Great place. Ordered flounder stuffed with crab meat. They were out but replaced it with haddock. I tend not to mind this at seafood places as it generally indicates they're not filling their freezers with frozen garbage and are using fresh fish. Pefectly cooked. The crab stuffing was wonderful; while I was expecting something more like a crab cake it had more of a creamy texture and was delicious. I'm making this as a favorite place to eat in Google Maps.

Great seafood, at typical seafood prices. Great atmosphere though it can get really loud. Parking is a pain.

We had a server named Rachel. I'm sure of the fact that we have never had better service. She was so pleasant to talk to and very efficient with recommendations and the timely presentation of our food. We will undoubtedly be visiting again and are going to request her if she's available!

A tasty lunch at this local seafood house conveniently located on the peninsula. Our lunch choices, fish tacos and grilled tuna sandwich were good but not exceptional. The dinner menu does look interesting. They do have a large outdoor dining area.

The food was and service was completely Amazing !!! I would highly recommend you stuff mushrooms as an appetizer, and the broiled scallops for dinner . Great job to the staff !

Every time I travel to the area I make a point of havig lunch at the bar. Lisa is the best.
The Blackened Mahi Tacos make me very happy. She grab soup to start sets the tone. A great indulgence and don't forget some refreshments that are guaranteed to make you smile!

We went for lunch. The restaurant was busy, but not packed. The service was fast and friendly. But the star was the food. I had the shrimp tacos and they were simply wonderful. My companions had the mahi mahi and grilled shrimp. All of the dishes were delicious. I will return.

2018 August: Sam/Samantha was a really nice server, Caesar salad and Harpoon combo were excellent!

2018 April: crab cake, fried shrimp, Caesar salad and service were all great; Bridget provided excellent service!

2016 September: Excellent food and service, no wait time Saturday between 5 and 6pm. Family friendly/oriented restaurant. Crab cake, fried shrimp, lobster tails, homemade lemonade and ice cream were all good!

Very casual and very good food, service and beer selection. I have at least one dinner at Harpoon Larry's every trip I make to Newport News.

Ate a late lunch here today, a Friday afternoon, around 2:30. Absolutely no wait whatsoever, AWESOME food (husband got the fried platter, I got the broiled one) and a fantastic waitress named Brandi who had a trainee named Chelsea with her. We loved our experience here and will highly recommend it to our friends and family. I would also recommend going at an "off" hour. I live very close to the restaurant and it is always packed at dinner time.

Always a go to restaurant that never fails to amaze. At first glance the prices might look expensive but all their seafood is seriously SSOO fresh! My father item on the menu is their crab dip appetizer. My husband and I go and get an appetizer each and split them for our meal. I have slight hearing loss in one ear and sometimes it can get a little too loud. They have a small patio that's nice to try and get away from the noise. The atmosphere is very upbeat.

This was my first time going there. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean. Food was good but the shrimp was a little dry for my tasting. The cole slaw was amazing! Tuna sandwich was perfect and big! ( If you get them often, you know it's chance on the size depending on location )

First, the service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and timely, even while attending to a large group at another table. And the food... I thought the prices were high until I got my plate. Got the Captain's Platter, oysters were the best I've had. Crab cake meaty, scallops cooked to perfection and tender. And the shrimp, so good! Hush puppies done right! Everyone in the party loved what they got. We got the cheesecake and the key lime pie for dessert to split. I am a southern girl from Florida and that is the best key lime pie I've ever had. I highly recommend this place! Price well worth the quality.

Went here with some workplace associates and it was pretty busy for 1PM. It was worth the wait though. They have really good tuna sandwiches and catfish. Prices are a little high but still reasonable. Do not go to the one in Virginia Beach they are not the same. It pays to take the drive across the bridge tunnel.

Food and service-Great! Mostly seafood (all delicious) kids menu, full bar and some craft beers, TV for watching sports. All in all, great!

Had the oyster poorboy it had only 4 small fried oysters on a bogie roll, definitely not worth the money

I came here for lunch with several coworkers, at their suggestion because I am from out of town. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu selection is large and diverse so that everyone will find something they are able to eat. I ordered the seafood salad with an additional tuna steak ... and it was great.

I was going to give a 5 but they overcooked the sweet potato fries today. The drinks and food are usually great, today was just an off day for them

Not the best. Fish did not appear fresh or done. Stuffed flounder. Big disappointment.
