1st time visitor but we'll be back! Great food. The Shrimp and Grits was outstanding.

Super sad to leave a 1 Star because I heard so many wonderful things, but meh. We ordered a to go order, they had the food ready in 20 min which was great! But when we got to the park where we were going to eat, we realized they didn t give us some of what we ordered. Granted, it was our side of sweet potato fries, but still, the entire meal was $48 dollars, so we sort of expected what we ordered. They also didn t provide utensils or napkins. Come on. The food I ordered (shrimp and a caesar salad) was mediocre at best. I don t understand the hipe of this place at all.

First visit in the NN location, and I had only gone twice before to the Hpt location. It's a noisy environment and quite crowded, even on a Monday night. Luckily we were sat on their enclosed patio which provided some noise relief. Service was slow, getting drinks, getting refills, getting food, and getting the check. Little things our table asked for were not brought, like a side of ranch or extra napkins. Had the tuna steak sandwich. Tuna was on the small side, my bun was bigger than the steak. But it was cooked perfectly and had a nice grill taste. Fries tasted great with an old bay flavor. My blueberry crush cocktail was mixed perfectly and I really liked the stronger blueberry flavor. Larger cup than I expected, so that was nice. Wish they offered a snack while you wait, like hush puppies or even just oyster crackers. Paid at the table, so I was glad we didn't have to wait for our credit card to be brought back. Overall, the food was good enough that I'd recommend. Just prepare yourself for the noise and long visit.

My husband and I, from out of town, thought we would try some sea food. Did not like anything but the sweet potatoe frys. : (

Pretty sure the issues we had is due to COVID-19 adaptations. We had to ask for silverware multiple times when we needed it for our appetizers and salads. All of the food was also brought out almost back to back with no time to finish part of the meal and have dishes cleared. Due to this overabundance of food, the table was stacked up to the point where people started using chairs to set food on.

I believe this is some sort of timing issue that just needs to be resolved. The food however was outstanding and enjoyed by all. No complaints on that and look forward to eating there again when this world gets back to normal.

My husband and I dined here while we were in town for business. It lived up to it's reputation! We really enjoyed our fish tacos (his) and crab legs off the oyster menu w/ a side of the red potatoes (mine). He also was impressed with the variety of beer on tap and the key-lime pie he had for dessert. Our server was friendly and able to get information for me on what was gluten-free or not, which is a must for me. Would definitely go back next time we're in town.

The restaurant is cozy and roomy. Great place to meet friends. You have to come early unless you want to be on a long waiting list. The shrimp was too lightly seasoned for my tastes but as you can see the cook did a great job with the presentation.

Great food, service and did I say food? Go, what are you waiting for?

This time there were four of us! Each ordered a different entree and all were extremely happy! Service was awesome! They have an amazing team from the waiter who took our order to those that helped him bring us our meals! Have had this experience with every visit!

The food wasn't that good...I was told that the crab dip and founder was equal or better than Surfriders...I have to disagree. Surfriders in Hampton, VA has the best seafood that I'm aware of!!

Tried to eat here for my birthday dinner. Staff didn't want to seat us, didn't want to give us menus, a server never came to out table. We ended up walking out without ever even being greeted then the little girls at the front had the nerve to get smart when we were leaving. I wont be returning and i will tell all my friends not to go there.

This restaurant has two main rooms, the first is pretty typical of a casual dining seafood shack, the second has a great dive bar feel to it. Premium draft beers were a bit pricey (although bud, coors and PBR are pretty cheap) and the food was typically price, but of better than average quality. Good raw oysters and crab cooked just perfect so it's delicious and easily picked. Steamed shrimp and mussels were above average, steamed clams and oysters average. Avoid the crawfish, they had no flavor as they were just steamed in the same pot as the other seafood, but any southern boy knows you gotta boil those things in water spiced so heavily the fumes burn your eyes.

This was a place i found when searching online, had good reviews and decided to go. Great food, and drinks, there was a bit of a wait so time your visit accordingly. It was worth the wait and you won't be dissapointed. Would recommend and would certainly go again.

Service and food were GREAT! Had been to the VaB location and it was great this location is no different. Highly recommend the Blackened Scallops and the Orange Crush!

It was a little expensive, but worth it. Amanda was a spectacular waitress and recommended an amazing meal to my wife and I. I'd recommend anyone come here.

Great selection of craft beers, best Greek salad this side of the water, and they'll peel your steamed shrimp for an extra $2/lb. Not many places around with better seafood.

service was Horrible, apps,and entrees all came at the same time, racing to eat food so i can have a hot meal, server did not care at all, all she said was Sorry and walked away

OMG! 5 stars! Great food, awesome oysters, fun music/atmosphere, and service was ON POINT. We had blackened ahi, pocahontas oysters, fried shrimp and crabcakes combo. This place belongs on the top of your list for seafood. You won't be disappointed!

Great seafood place. A little pricey, but well worth it. They have a good selection of mixed drinks and craft beers too.

Food is really good they had a small problem with getting all our food out at the same time with a large party. 3 out of our 14 didn't get their food until the rest were done eating

Harpoon Larry's is just a greasy spoon. I've eaten there 2 times. They've probably been in business for a long time. It fit the typical American fast standard, grease & more grease. Not my ideal place to eat.
