Decent hotel. Rooms don't come with refrigerators unless you request one, but they are free once you do. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Not the peak of luxury, but very comfortable. Price is a bit high for amenities but that is due to the location.

Would have been nice if it weren't for the fact that there are no refrigerators in the rooms? I've never been to a hotel without a mini fridge. So i stayed a week, no leftovers for me, not even a yogurt from the store across the street. I called 2 days prior to check in to request a 10am check in, they assured me it wouldnt be a problem, until I got there, my friends (who did not request an early check in) were accommodated immediately with their early arrival and I was told to wait downstairs until 12:30 for my room to be cleaned.

The upgrades they have made are impressive. The entire staff made the stay great. Zach at Valet, Samantha at the front desk, and especially Ms. Francis in housekeeping made this the best stay we've ever had at the Sheraton.

Everything was wonderful. Kwaz, the receptionist, was great! He checked us in and gave us food recommendations. Zack was a great valet person as well. The shuttle drivers were all amazing and sociable. The shuttle was free by the way. The rooms were very clean as well. This was a great choice.

Hotel is currently undergoing a renovation. Overall my room was pretty nice. Service at the front desk and at the attached restaurant and bar we're fine. My favorite benefit of getting Club Level rooms is having the room on the floor. In this case, that room was under construction. That was a little disappointing.

Pretty nice hotel. I got the Riverwalk view and it was really nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing i did not like is that the price of the hotel is artificially low. You have to pay for mandatory valet parking which ends up costing $18+tax per night. Breakfast is not included either which adds another $15 per person. It does have free Wifi. The Wifi was not nearly as slow as some people made it out to be. I was able to view Netflix just fine. The pool had a decent size and was very deep (9 ft). Although it was pretty crowded.

Overall, the hotel was pretty good but keep in mind the price will go up once you are there.

Staff was nice upon arrival before I saw my room. Walked into my room and immediately smelled dirty water. Took my shoes off and the carpet was wet. Went to take a shower and ants all over the sink in bathroom and hair in the bath tub.

Hair and ants in the bed as well. Hotel was booked and could not switch rooms.
Absolutely disgusting would never stay at this hotel again.

Hotel had a great feel to it. Lobby was well decorated and clean. The computers offered in the lobby didn't work as they should have. The rooms were spacious and nice. The bathroom had a few tiles missing around the wall, but overall in good shape.

The hotel was clean but had an oder when entering the building and when getting out of elevators. The room was very dated with tiles missing in the bathroom. The tub was not dirty but scratch up and scared. The sliding door out to the large balcony would not move. I had to push very hard to open or close. Then when I got back to my room yesterday the lock for the door stopped working. It took them in 20 minutes for them to open. Then another 30 to repair the lock. Everyone involved in fixing the problem were very apologetic. They offer food as a compensation. I asked for a couple of drinks and they gave me coupon. I went to the bar but it was only good for one drink. I didnt care to fight for my second after everything that had happen

This hotels needs a major update. Everything looks old. This hotel doesn't reflect well on the Sheraton name

This is a nice hotel. My room is nice and clean and comfortable. The View is great. My only gripe is when i check in at night i would like to talk to someone and get my information from someone with clear diction and a clear understanding of customer service/ guest relations. Not just operating from a script. When i ask u a question about something important posted at the front desk that affect my stay: answer my question please and don't just go on with your 6 second check in spiel like i didn't ask you something. And I'm sorry to say it always happens with our male forgein/americans. Woman will take the time. Alot of guys: "Zip Bang Boom" be gone. Just my opinion. But i will stay here again.

I went to the restaurant. The food was pretty good, I got the re-burger. It was kind of expensive, but the view of the river is great, and the restaurant looks nice as well. The staff was nice too.

Beds were comfortable, room and view of the river was beautiful. My only gripe was that there was no self parking. I wasn't told over the phone when I made my reservation that there was a $18 valet charge.

This hotel has walls that are like paper. You can hear everything in the hall and other rooms clearly and some people really don't care if you get any sleep or not. The hotel as a whole is run down , broke, and fairly dirty. The owner is obviously just trying to suck as much money from people as he can while giving them the least in comfort, cleanliness, and security. People need to stop supporting places like this. The good reviews are either fake or posted by travelers who have never stayed in a decent place.

shocking. Up to 18 rooms were not ready. We waited until 17 and at the end we had no choice but to have rooms with a view of the parking without a balcony with a ridiculous compensation of $ 20, even though rooms with a river view were pre-ordered. Also in the 18 rooms were not yet ready to Viterno on the option to pass. Club's option is nice. Pool and excellent location, but I am specific to this hotel and will not return alive. No location and club are worth the nerves. Stay with the suitcases in the lobby for an entire day, although it is clearly stated that you have to get rooms by 3:00 pm

I've had the opportunity to travel a lot and stay at a plethora of hotels... this was the best hotel experience I've ever had.

The room itself was relatively average, but totally fine, with a comfortable bed and a view of the water. However, what made this so great was that the service was AMAZING! Truly, from my reservation phone call right through to checkout they were fantastic.

Some examples:

- When the TV in my room wouldn't allow for my girlfriend and I to order a movie, a technician was there within 3 minutes. When it STILL wouldn't work they offered to replace the TV (which I declined), change our room (which I declined) and then, as an apology for not being able to help, they sent snacks and drinks!

- I walked out to the pool just as it was closing to prepare for a private event, but the crew left a chair for me to hang out in the sun until the last possible second.

- My reservation phone call included a friendly discussion of my dog coming and the phone agent working to find a way to reduce my rate via AAA membership and upgrade me to a water-facing room

- When asked about thai and vietnamese cuisine, concierge recommended 3 places that were fantastic.

- When the valet saw the dog, he gave us the addresses of 2 dog parks in walking distance

- The cleaning staff saw my girlfriend and I walking out of the room, she went out of her way to make sure that we had enough towels and everything that we needed

Just an overall fantastically friendly, positive staff. Plus a great room and a central location. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed here for the Florida Bar Exam. AC broke in the first room and then when we were moved to another room, the faucet to the shower was hanging out of the wall. Took about 5 minutes trying to get the shower to turn on because the piping was hanging out of the wall. Sixth floor hallway had ceiling tiles missing and a trashcan in the middle of the hallway for a leak in the ceiling. Outdated and overpriced. Would not recommend.

Pros:

Pros:
Great Location
Good Concierge Staff

Cons:
No sound insulation in the walls, ceiling, or dated windows.
No parking to unload or while you check-in.
Dated Showers with slow drain.
Spartan decor (Id Est cheapest).
Old, Inaccurate, Broken Air Conditioning Controls

A fire pendant escutcheon fell from the ceiling too.
Building is too old and needs updating.
Absolutely not impressed and will not return.

Absolutly the worst Sheraton we have ever stayed at. This was our Wedding Night hotel, we even alerted them to that when making the reservations. We have made reservations for occassions at other hotels that were half the price of this Hotel and received much better service. We showed up in our Wedding attire not one Hotel employee commented but the guest did. The bellhop was a brainless idiot. The desk clerk was trying so hard with what sounded like a horrible fake Swedish accent, we couldn't understand a word she said over the high pitch sound coming out of her. The room was not great for $355 a night, stayed in Holiday Inn Express hotels that were nicer. Terrible service, horrible management that shows in the employees. Much better places to spend your money. This is an embarressment to my Home Town of Tampa for Hotels. Service Sheraton that is why people choose your Hotels. This was the worst ever and we will remember it always because it was our Wedding Night.

A decent hotel, but probably on the lower end (B-/C+) of the Sheraton scale.

It was updated at some point but either the materials were cheap or the remodel is approaching the end of its useful life, because wear is showing.

The pool has a nice view over the water, but it's a bit small and under landscaped. The fitness center also has a nice view - but there really wasn't enough there for a weights workout. Fortunately the Y is across the street and there is a true "weightlifter" gym on the other side of downtown (Powerhouse Gym - $20).

The hotel was adjacent to an overwater path along the river that was a nice way to get to the Straz Performing Arts Center.

Some rooms have balconies, although ours didn't. We booked through the Priceline opaque bid option, so our status didn't count and I didn't expect the best room in the house. The beds were a bit hard though, and one seemed "rickety"

Overall, the definition of "Average"

Location of the hotel was great. Our room was amazing. We were in the 4th floor suite after being moved cause they didn't have us in joining rooms as requested. They have a great shuttle service except that it is first come first sserve so that wasn't very organized. All in all it is a very beautiful hotel and the staff is friendly

I got to my room around 10 pm. When I went to the bathroom the toilet was visibly dirty. I called guest services and they couldn t do anything about it because the cleaning staff went home. My husband had to go downstairs to grab cleaning supplies just to do someone else s job. I don t feel comfortable being here.

This place is a dump, do not let the great rating fool you. I stayed there last night - a/c was not working, ice maker on our floor was out of order, paint was falling off the bathroom ceiling, the vents were rusty, and everything looked like it was MacGyver'd together with paint, caulk, and desperation, all in order to convince people that it had been renovated. I have literally stayed at motels with questionable stains while visiting Guatemala(!) that were nicer than this place. The lack of luxury at this mold factory isn't what pissed me off, it's how much I was charged for the room (~$200). The reviews of this place (and the price tag) led me to believe that I'd be staying in a nice hotel, not the setting for an internet adult movie. If you are charged more than $49/night to stay in this place, then you're in the same position as star of the movie that was filmed in your room the night before. When I addressed my complaints with the front desk upon checkout, they said the only thing they could do for me is waive the overnight parking fee... the valet parking was one of the only things that was not a disaster!!! There are much nicer places to stay in the area, many that come at a better rate. Consider yourself warned.

Dated. Needs a top to bottom remodel or tear down. AC leaked, bathroom cabinets were old and worn down, cement falling out in places.

Nice staff, nice view a little far from the convention center compared to others nearby. Not much going on around this hotel.

I stayed here for one night on 11/22/20. When I entered I noticed a terrible sewer like smell(this bad smell in the lobby was still there the following morning when I left). I went to use the restrooms by the lobby and several had signs stating they were out of order and some others were not flushed and very dirty. There was only one stall in the women s restroom that was decent. I have never been to a hotel lobby that was this unclean, especially during a time when things are supposed to be getting sanitized even more. Check in was quick, staff was friendly.
The room is large and the bed is comfortable. The room appeared clean but when I entered the bathroom I noticed there was a dirty wash cloth hanging in the shower.
I would not stay here again or recommend it.
