A decent hotel, but probably on the lower end (B-/C+) of the Sheraton scale.

It was updated at some point but either the materials were cheap or the remodel is approaching the end of its useful life, because wear is showing.

The pool has a nice view over the water, but it's a bit small and under landscaped. The fitness center also has a nice view - but there really wasn't enough there for a weights workout. Fortunately the Y is across the street and there is a true "weightlifter" gym on the other side of downtown (Powerhouse Gym - $20).

The hotel was adjacent to an overwater path along the river that was a nice way to get to the Straz Performing Arts Center.

Some rooms have balconies, although ours didn't. We booked through the Priceline opaque bid option, so our status didn't count and I didn't expect the best room in the house. The beds were a bit hard though, and one seemed "rickety"

Overall, the definition of "Average"
