Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk Review

Did a "day use" stay after a cruise to avoid a long wait at the airport. Good accommodations, great location downtown on the river walk.

Absolutely horrendous! The room smells, carpet moist, hair on the bathroom floor, paint peeling, tint on window peeling, hand prints all over windows, the whole hotel smells like marijuana throughout! Awful service, stayed a few hours and cancelled my whole reservation and left. Never in my life will I ever book a Sheraton again. The only positive side to the whole place was the balcony on the water. That s it...

Am I setting a wrong hotel? Is this really Sheraton?

In town for professional development. Employer paid for the room. Close to convention center and trolley station

Great location. Nice place to relax outside by the river. Good in the evenings for a cocktail.

Reserved a room to have view of the Hillsborough River and the Tampa Bay Lightning Stanley Cup Boat Parade. There was no room service available BUT the pool bar was open for drinks and food. For the parade, the bar was open to the public and had a line about 30+ people deep. Even after calling the front desk for assistance, the hotel did not provide a way for registered guests to order food ahead of the public. So I had to order all our food from a local restaurant. Not good customer service.

Located right on the river walk. Sheraton club is a nice addition if you have status. Conveniently located in downtown. Would return.

Nice but old hotel. Definitively would need a major overhaul, especially rooms. I m a regular in Sheraton hotels and this ones not the greatest. Greatest thing is the pool and outside bar with musician, very cool. Personnel ok, asked for a fridge and never got it. Asked for our room to be vacuumed, had to take the vacuum sitting outside in the hall and do it ourselves.

Very friendly staff, was acknowledged every time I entered the hotel and am an SPG member. Also, was upgraded to a river view room after the 1st night without asking.

Nice hotel will stay again when next in Tampa why go elsewhere helpful staff. Not far from Airport and cruise terminal.

Hotel doesn't smell great, but other than that it's OK. Could use some new renovations and upgrades.

Alright but only thing not good was food at restaurant

We are enjoying the personnel, the food and the amenities here. The Sheraton took care of us very well.

Disgusting and dated! No way this is a 4- star hotel. To start, the entire room was damp as if it had been steam cleaned which seems like a good thing, but the room stank of mildew. When the front desk was informed I was given an "Oh well" attitude and informed there were no other rooms at my rate available. I had to turn the air conditioner off because the smell was unbearable.

The chairs and furniture are severely dated as was the tv. Adding USB outlets doesn't bring your room up-to-Date. In addition, the 'City View' room looked out to the side of another building and one of the windows was boarded up. Stay anywhere else! This place

Great hotel on the river in downtown Tampa. Rooms were nice and clean.
