The staff was amazing and the room was beautiful. It had a bar right inside the area we were sitting in and had a separate area where there was a dance floor set up. The outside patio wad very nice and peaceful.

I spent a week at this hotel in conference rooms and it was a good experience. The catered food was great, citrus water was good, and staff was nice. AC was kicking hard making rooms nice and cold.

They overbooked the hotel by 50 people and then put me up in a hotel that was a 45 minute drive away (in no traffic). This was a pathetic experience. I travel every week for work and this has never happened to me. I paid $685 for one night for the convenience of being a block away from where my meetings are (there was a big event in town so it was expensive). I got there at 7pm and was told they overbooked by 50 people. The manager did say he would refund me and put me up in another hotel. That other hotel was 45 minutes in no traffic. It was also dirty, old and low quality. What kind of hotel overbooks by 50 people??? I have to be downtown tomorrow morning and in morning traffic its going to take an hour and a half. I will never reserve a room at this hotel again since they can t guarantee a reservation means anything.

My room was large and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and and we had a great view of the river. The staff was great and very responsive and helpful. We hung out by the pool which was very nice. All in all, it was a very nice stay.

We were greeted by a friendly check in staff - Alyssa particularly and our room was ready early! We stayed on the 6th floor (the highest level) in a Riverfront room. The room was spacious, and you could tell it was recently renovated as was the hall we were on.

The artwork in the room was nice, the bed comfortable, the pillows really good (some firm, some soft), and the staff was so gracious everywhere. From Lexie at the pool bar, to housekeeping and maintenance team just walking out of a door and smiling and saying "Hello," to other front desk people Bella, Amanda, and Manager Andrew.

Their pool is huge and deep, but it was not heated (oh well - you can't have everything be perfect!).

We will return!

People were super friendly. Unfortunately place was run down. Rooms old. Parking for 26 is crazy. Plus 16 the next day for a few hours. Pool and band was great. Amazing access to the Riverwalk made is super convenient. Our rooms was veryyyy noisy due to being on main Street. Must have thin walls or windows.

The place is decent and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is the ballroom we were in had gnats, which made it troublesome to conduct training. Also, there weren't any trashcans anywhere but the bathrooms. We constantly had to find somewhere to dispose of snacks, drinks, tissues, etc.

A little creepy hotel (no balcony, small beds, broken sink, carpet everywhere on the floors ...), you have to add parking fees in addition to the rooms and the breakfast is expensive for the little that you have there offers !!!
On two remaining days, the pool was closed for a full morning ...
You can find much better for the same price!

Great place to stay on the river downtown. Would have been 5 stars if the bar didn't close on us. Can't believe they close the bar when we had a party of 8 buying drinks. Never would of happened in NY. You have customers, you stay open.

We stayed one night at the hotel. I was a little scared by some of the reviews I read but they were not accurate. The place was super nice. My room was clean, and the service was awesome. People went out of their way to make sure we were happy and did not need anything. It was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it!

Centrally located with a big lobby. Our room is clean but offers no view, no closet and no character. If you stay here, don't take a handicapped room. They have eliminated the closet so as to make things accessible for wheelchair giving you no vanity space and nowhere to hang a dress. The view we have is to the street. We will not stay here again. We thought that as an SPG member you will get a better accommodation, not worth the points. Old, dated hote

I can tell it may be privately owned and not run by corporate. Not the best kept up with. But id definitely go back because of most of the staffs willingness to change anything you mention. Especially the housekeeping Supervisor Karla

Gorgeous hotel I love it! Parking is only about $15 for a day. Food is great in the hotel restaurant. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms seem renovated and totally sheek. I love this place!

Breakfast was lame and the hotel room was dated to say the least, although the view was ok. What made the view not so great was the massive dividers in between the rooms They could've been more tasteful

I was in Tampa for four days on a business trip. This was my first time in Tampa. I stayed in a double room with a view of the city.

Room: Overall, the room was large, clean and well maintained. There was coffee and tea available in the room and a blow dryer. There was a refrigerator but it was a little wobbly. The beds were comfortable and I slept well. There were USB ports all over the room.

Location: The hotel directly on the river. You can sit by the pool or in the hotel restaurant and watch the activity on the river walk. There are so many things to do on the river walk. There were people biking, walking, and running. There are several different ferry companies that you can use for a tour of the Tampa River. You can also take the streetcar as a fantastic way to see the downtown and Ybor areas. The station is only one block up from the entrance of the hotel and it s free to ride.

Other: Parking is valet only and cost $25 per day. It s convenient but expensive.

Restaurant: I had lunch at the hotel once. I ordered a salad. It was just okay and it cost $17.00. The best thing about the restaurant was the service.

Poorly understaffed. Bartender was also the food runner waiter and probably chef. Rooms were still being cleaned at 9:30 at night. Wouldnt honor the reservations that our travel agent had made for us.
The rooms were clean and the food was good, but we will try somewhere else next time.

Rooms are very dated, basic functionality at best. Here on work, so not looking for ambience, but definitely do not come here for vacation. Shower goes from small trickle of warm straight to blast of scalding. Gym is terrible. Many weights already stolen and the machine you would use instead is broken.

Hotel location is great and staff was nice but beware the parking costs that aren't disclosed when you book as they are over $25 per night which is ridiculous. When I asked the staff about this, the reply was "yea, they get you".

I really like Sheraton hotels, but this one missed the mark. The facility is old, and shows wear and tear in the decor and furniture. No food options late, and tiny bathrooms. Hoever, the bed was great and I did get a good nights sleep.

Beds and linens dirty, finding hairs all over. Called down for extra blankets and they came up worse then what was in the room. Bathroom has mold and peeling paint on ceiling. Pounding music underneath us most of the night. I will not recommend or be back.
I don't know how this place got 4 star rating. Very dissatisfied! And this is supposed to be a nice place.

The Riverwalk hotel is in a fabulous location in a fun city. Rooms on the river side are quieter and have nicer views. Be sure to rent a bike or just walk along the river path. Local museums are also plentiful and good.

The rooms were clean, but that should be a normal expectation of every hotel. The views were great. Our room was river side and it offered really good views to as we drank coffee on the balcony.
On the downside the bathroom was very small and there was no ventilation. So once done with a show we had to wait 30 or so minutes for the mirror to clear before we could shave or do hair. The water pressure was fantastic though.
The hotel accepts pets. A good thing if you have a well behaved pet. Not so good if you are in the next room of someone that does not have a well behaved pet.
The doors to my room and evidently several of the rooms on my floor do not shut without slamming them. So you can imagine how that went on a weekend night.
The restaurant downstairs is average at best. We ordered a salad and pasta dishes and it took over 30 minutes to be served. We were among maybe 10 tables in the whole restaurant that had customers.
Overall I would suggest you stay somewhere else. This hotel is equivalent to a Days Inn or Motel 6.

The location is somewhat fine, although there are a number of downsides: if you have a car it is $24 per night, the complimentary WiFi is slower than dial-up speeds. I can't upload photos or use Skype. I have to pay to be able to do More

As we sit at the grand opening of the pool party, we have some feedback. There are no servers, the bar is the only place to get a drink or order food. So when we ordered food, we were told to come back to the bar in 15 min for our food as they don t know where we sit. There is nowhere to order drinks either. If we they had servers, it would be a better place to enjoy. Additionally, there is not enough chairs for those who wish to use them. People are claiming chairs and not using them for hours. There must be more chairs for those to sit around the pool. We live close and want to support this local busines, but you must step up your game. I hope to come back and enjoy this place again once they have their issues worked out.

I showed up at 3pm and my room wasn't ready until 6. My room was visibly dirty and there was no hairdryer for my girlfriend to use. House keeping knocked on my door before 9:30 to ask when I would be leaving. The only redeeming quality was location on the riverwalk. Would not stay again.

I checked in at 1am in the night and the room was like how one would leave it when you check out - sheets & pillow on the floor, hair in the bathroom, not cleaned at all.
Though a couple managers came in and tried their best hand (clumsily I must say) at making the room for me, this was a real bad customer experience. Never coming back here again!

Way, way overpriced! View of the river, but, also of construction and ugly graffiti. Posted pictures are deceiving. Lobby smells like sewerage due to lift station under building. shower head coming out of wall, towel bar broken, door doesn't close right, locks on sliding door look homemade...very disappointed we still have 2 more nights here.

A below average dated hotel. I was there for three nights and slept poorly every night. The bed was uncomfortable. The temperature of the room was hard to control since it has a poorly performing AC system. The hotel and room are in need of maintenance. The wifi was slow. Parking and breakfast are expensive. The hotel does not provide free coffee and tea in the lobby like nicer chains. The person doing housekeeping threw away my business receipts I was collecting by the TV, which suggests a lack of proper staff training.

I have not set a foot inside but from the overall outside appearance it is probably a very high end luxury hotel. All of my guests that I a met there are very well dreesed and likeable people. Nothing bad about that.

Clean accommodations, friendly staff, just one thing there wasn't a refrigerator in room, you had to ask for one to be delivered if they weren't already rented out. You would think they would have one in every room, weird.

Man this place is classy!! You must be to have this prime location in downtown Tampa right on the river! This staff has their act together! The service was outstanding and the employees from the valet to the bartender were extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. The views Inside the Hotel and outside our magnificent! The pool area and deck overlook the Riverwalk with the bridge leading to the University of Tampa. So you're right on the water and the view is breathtaking in Majestic at night!! If you're looking to impress a date there restaurant and cocktail lounge are worth going to. You won't be disappointed. There restaurants and lounges are open during the day to the public as well as the guests of the hotel. Their food was extremely fresh with an excellent presentation!
