Sheraton Stockholm Review

Someone at the front desk was a little short with me

We had to wait an hour and a half from the inching time until we got the key to the room. Good but very messy and cramped breakfast. Okay room, nice and big beds!

Centrally located in Stockholm just next to the terminus. Great service

Great place. Staff at reception are professional and attentive. As far as the loading of the rooms is concerned, I have remarks. Iva passes. We were in a 3-room room with 4 nights. Towels all loaded for 2m except for the 1st night. Free water for only 2 people. Missing opener.

Good service and friendly staff. Still quite expensive seen from a view that most rooms are not refurbished in a long time.

Strong location. Nice staff. Facility kept up nicely. Great breakfast. Just down the street from the central train station and hop on hop off bus. Short walk across bridge from old towne.

The Sheraton Stockholm is a fabulous hotel situated just outside of Stockholm's 'Oldtown'. I have stayed at this hotel each of the last 4 years and the rooms, food, service and overall quality are outstanding. The room sizes are quite large, especially for a European hotel, and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.

The Sheraton Stockholm is a well-designed, modern hotel, with decent-sized rooms and a great location within walking distance of the main train terminal (making it easy to get to if you take either the train or the bus from the Arlanda Stockholm airport but without feeling like it s a typical station hotel. In fact, it feels quite sleek, sporting a spacious lobby and a terrific bar. The staff is friendly, professional, and helpful.

There is an Espresso House right off the lobby, which is a great place for a quick breakfast or an afternoon coffee. The in-house restaurant was adequate, but not stellar. The service was quite good, but the food was not memorable.


I d definitely stay at the Sheraton Stockholm again.

Incredible rooms but disappointing breakfast. There was very little options to eat, and a lot of people during breakfast time.

Very nice four star hotel right in the middle of Stockholm, great location. The check in was quick and easy and they managed to accommodate my chip-less credit card. My room was much larger than I thought it was going to be and it was very clean. The hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help anyway they can. The concierge made a booking for us at a local restaurant and also gave us traveled advice to slightly obscure tourist attraction - he made our life much easier.

My one complaint was the breakfast. Firstly, they needed some signs (in many languages) explaining that people needed to checkin and wait to be seated, when it was busy this was proving a challenge for them. Secondly, I thought some of the was not cooked very well such as the very undercooked fried eggs ( I was there three nights and this never changed)

Other than that a good hotel and I'd stay there again on my next visit .

Maps insist on saying that I've been here, which I don't have. One may well say the hell outside my price range. But it is certainly a fantastic hotel, so it gets five stars.

It is a very nice and clean hotel. I can see city hall from my window. Breakfast has multiple choice.

Sorry but this hotel would struggle to be 3 star! The fit out is old, scratched and doesn't match. The hall ways are old with dirty carpet and marks all over the walls. I am very disappointed that the Sheraton group can allow a hotel to be in such poor condition and still use its reputation to attract customers who would normally never book into a hotel of that standard!

Very prime location, with panoramic views of the bay and bridge. From here as the center, a radius of 500m around the busy tourist and shopping spots.

Nice but needs a "face lift". Great food and staff but the interior is old and worn.

Friendly service both at the door and reception. Comfortable room with good amenities. Location good for the station, nearby bus stops and has 3 nearby cycle hire stations for easy access to the rest of Stockholm

Absolutely loved my experience here and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Stockholm. Very reasonable pricing. We paid extra (also reasonable) for a larger room with a view and we were not disappointed. Room service is excellent and the food is amazing. An Espresso House cafe is attached to the hotel which is very convenient! The hotel staff was phenomenal in every way (we had luggage that had to be delivered from the airport). The location of the hotel is perfect - 2 minutes walking distance from Central Station, and a very short walk to Gamla Stan and many other sites including City Hall. We couldn't be happier with our stay. Thank you, Sheraton Stockholm Hotel!

The restaurant food was very average...wouldn't go there again

This should be called "more luxurious" hotel, I did not get the impression, rude staff who object to the upholstery, they should not put in, but they only receive the money and offer the service. The room was also not properly cleaned, dust here and every spot on the undercloth that looked to come from old red wine. There are other hotels in this class in Stockholm, which are better.

Room 454. Very nice room. View is only the court yard so not great but okay. Nice breakfast.

Ok hotel, gym a good size but not great equipment (although good range of free weights). Breakfast ok but not as good as scandic

It has a magnificent situation, near the City Hall, but it is not accompanied by the friendliness of some staff.

Budget hotel.
Booked room with 2 beds but got a bed with double duvet. It was not possible to get an extra blanket but we were offered a blanket.
The "marble tiles" in the bathroom that are not marble are cracked and are joined with toothpaste. The staff at the reception do not speak Swedish, which is the least you can ask of a hotel located in the Swedish capital with many tourists from Sweden. The breakfast was the poorest I have been through, the bread is frozen as they have thawed in the oven. No toppings for the bread but only butter. No yougurth, fruit or the like. Last but not least, the electricity in our room stopped working, which is strange.

At that time it was the best Hotel in Stockholm

My job as a tour guide in Stockholm allows me to often meet Sheraton clients ... Everyone is satisfied and for what I see at reception the staff is friendly and discreet the lobby is always tidy and clean. I think this hotel is currently better than the Hilton competitor.

My party rented a car from Sixt and were instructed to return the keys to the desk at the Sheraton if we came back after hours. The man at the desk was very friendly and helpful and the lobby bathroom was very clean.

May 2019: Have been here 5 days on a city trip in Stockholm. Very good hotel with very friendly service. Great food in the hotel and very rich breakfast. A top location for those who visit Stockholm.

Great hotel with a great restaurant in a perfect location.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the Central station our view from the room was impressive. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. I would highly recommend it if you're visiting stockholm.

Located centrally next to central station and bus terminal easy to travel anywhere in city.

In other words. Don't know what to say except that the food is ROUTE ... mc Donalds is 1000 times better. Thank you and goodbye

Sheraton Stockholm is a good hotel - stayed there for 10 days. Breakfast is repeating - nothing great, but just good. Rooms are fine. Needs renovation at many places.

Well located. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Staff a little dry and parco in attention. Hall a bit dated. Correct quality / price ratio are more. The best if location.

Hotel that can be comfortable and very well located. Rooms 834 very close to the elevators it is impossible to sleep properly. 03/08/2017 room 309 significantly better room renovated. 26/08/17 Hotel noisy in fact the night is a disco and in the morning a conference center so impossible to rest and take a quiet pdj. 05/01/18 Finally a quiet room (526) .i 26/09/2018 Room 811 very well. Calm.
