Solid Hotel with the usual Sheraton amenities. Fitness center was nice, the Internet worked, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfy. Only complaint is that the shuttle won't take you very far.

Room was clean and comfortable.

Room was clean and comfortable.
We were told the free breakfast was available till 11am. When we got to the club lounge, we found out that it was only available till 10. Upon our complain to the front desk, they said the restaurant serves breakfast till 11am which will be $19.99 plus tax per head. Secondly, I asked for an extra 30 mins for checkout, they said sure, we will just charge you half price of the room.
In the end, I didn't feel special or welcomed. These little things matter. A breakfast voucher would have been great!

I travel 3 times a month for work, most of the times hotels are flexible with this type of stuff.

I've stayed here for over a decade now. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is pretty good, the rooms are clean and the SPG ones have nice big bathrooms. My only nitpick is that the windows are a bit small and view a bit uninspiring, but not so bad that I would take off a star.

The staff is amazing and the rental car company right next to it makes it a great spot to be for travelers and people coming out on business. It's located right next to a mall and several restaurants. Public transportation is also nearby with easy access to NYC.

Our family stayed at the Sheraton Stamford for a hockey tournament for five nights. All I can say is, WOW, we had an exceptional experience. What really made the difference at this hotel was the outstanding service by the staff who are 100% committed to providing their hotel guests with the best stay possible. The service really sets them apart from other hotels.

The front office manager David Montaque will go over and above your expectations to ensure that you have the most outstanding stay ever. He and his staff will truly ensure that guests are well taken care of. It s also important to note that his front end staff are trained to his standards. He is personable, polite and courteous with all the guests and most importantly, responsive to your needs. David helped our family out tremendously throughout our stay by facilitating a move to a larger room when the hotel was extremely full with multiple hockey teams. A big thank you to David for all his assistance.

The housekeeping manager, Amanda Beckford, also an exceptional employee who will ensure your accommodations are superb. Amanda assisted our family as we changed rooms and ensured all the small details were taken care of without any hesitation. Thank you Amanda.

The hotel is located in downtown Stamford one block away from a large shopping mall (Stamford Town Centre) with several restaurants. The hotel offers shuttle service in a 5 mile radius which is wonderful. The gym, which is fully equipped, is amazing with two Peleton spinning bikes as well. The restaurant at the hotel is also very good. We tried the club, chefs salad, kids pasta and chicken and shrimp tacos all of which were very good.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again in the future. The staff are so friendly they make you feel like you are coming home. I have nothing negative to say and look forward to being there again in the future.

Worst experience I ever had at a hotel to date, and I have had my fair share of shady hotels. First we check in to our room with the smell of B.O. emanating from it as soon as we enter it, which struck us as odd but we thought perhaps it was from the previous guest or some such. Also we barely made it into our room as the door kept sticking and wouldn't open very well. We also then noticed a strange black stain on the ceiling, but again thought nothing much of it. Then the morning after our friend who is allergic to mold starts to feel really ill, and we finally put two and two together. Mold is growing in the room and is what caused the smell and stain on the ceiling. We then go down to the lobby to request a room change, and we were upped to the 9th floor, which is one of the special floors that you need to get a room key to swipe in the elevator to get to, since the club room on the 10th which the card also has access to is for the special guests to get free breakfast and such. The problem with that was that our cards kept getting deactivated throughout the whole weekend that the only time I was able to reach my room on my own was when we still was on the 7th floor in the mold room. Also when I told the person at the lobby about the mold they said it was the first time they ever heard about that in the hotel. Okay. Remember this. Also, after having known I was in a mold infested room I had thought the rooms on the 9th floor were safe as I was also hanging out with a friend in their room on the 9th floor. Turns out they have mold in their room as well. The mold was found on the curtains next to their air conditioning unit, and a mechanic came to inspect it and removed the curtains. The hotel told them that was sufficient enough for mold removal and would not give them a discounted rate for their whole stay and only for the days they had the mold on the curtains, which removing the curtains is not going to get rid of the mold in the room. It seems the cause of this is that there is no ventilation in the bathrooms, there is a small vent but as I looked at ours it was dusty and no air flow was coming in or out. So coming out of the shower was a literal sauna and as their was no ventilation the humidity builds in the room and creates mold. Also the A.C. unit in my friend's room was not cleaned, if they simply cleaned the filters with bleach they could prevent more mold instead of just removing curtains and not rectifying the problem. They also told my friend that it was "their first time hearing about mold". Bear with me, it still goes on. Also on one day I was staying at the hotel a panel overhead the bar started spewing out water and drenched the bar area, which raised danger flags as well. It seems like the hotel isn't being kept up and at this point should be shut down until they get fully inspected and get rid of the mold completely along with an inspection of the physical integrity of the building itself. And it still isn't the end of the mold saga, apparently someone else had mold in their room as well. It became a problem to the point I was warning everyone to check their rooms for mold because it seemed like a hotel-wide problem. Because of this the event I had gone to the hotel for was completely ruined trying to deal with this headache of a hotel. I also checked our new room right before checking out, hoping I wouldn't be able to find anything, but well you know how this story goes by now. I found mold on the top right corner between the window and the curtains. Just stay away from this hotel, stay far far away.

The showers we're not culturally appropriate. Blacks don't want or need their hair we daily. The shower has someone else's hair in it, and when the linen and towels are worn out, the hotel should consider replacing. I felt like my nightly sleep was comfortable, but the cost of food, drinks from your Bart, and small store were severely over priced. The conference that I attended was amazing, but I do hope that some of this feedback will be taken into consideration.

Great staff with excellent service! Subtracting 2 stars for the facilities - could use an upgrade. Bed and pillows are not too comfortable and the food is mostly a miss, sometimes it s ok. Staff is amazing though!

If you are looking for a good hotel to stay in, look no further. From the great staff, to the awesome bartenders and dinning staff, to the great atmosphere of this great hotel. Not to mention the Incredible food! This Sheraton hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The food alone and great service is enough for me to visit again from a 4 hr drive away, just to experience it all again.

Stayed here with my dog and the hotel was very accommodating. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any problems. The only downside was that some of my dinner from the hotel tasted off but the staff was able to take that meal off of our bill and they apologized several times. My favorite thing about this hotel was the green space out front where I could walk my dog. This little park had doggie bags and trash cans although they were out of dog bags when I was there. Overall it was a great experience and I would come back.

Great food. Starbucks in the lobby. Separate bar and restaurant. Huge place, our room was small, but we had two queen beds and two kids with us. Staff is great. Room service has anything from the restaurant. Every time I called for something, someone picked up right away. I have stayed in a lot if hotels and I never had such a good experience

Bed was nice, food was pretty ok, and shower was ok if a little low pressure. Rating is 3 stars because Sheraton charges for anything that isn't a hotel room. WiFi? Charge. You want to park at the hotel in which you've already payed to stay? Charge. Not impressed. That said, the event I attended was hosted well and the staff were more than kind.

My wife and I have been having many great stays at the Sheraton Stamford Hotel, full service 5 star resort in Stamford! Great pet friendly rooms too, our Golden Clovis is living large, Peter at the front dest is fantastic, found great rooms, and was very kind and professional always. Quincy, Lisa and all were so courteous at check in.. Brian from Philly, Dan, Roxy and Mo, are a great fun, bartender team! The Taco's were all great at bart!!, Pierre the chef cooked a great prepared breakfast Omelet was awesome! Tall ceiling and window lobby very posh. We enjoyed there Executive lounge, and appetizers and cappuccino machine. Easy indoor parking, free shuttle service. No doubt, the friendliest, professional full service Sheraton/Marriott Hotel in Stamford and probably the Greenwich Area. Thank you for many great stays already for my and my family & Golden Retriever both for business and pleasure.
