The staff and service have been excellent but the facilities need an update. Poor sound proofing lead to a loud night when the neighbor was having company and signs of wear already common in the rooms.

Clean bright hotel. Room is standard double beds which made things tight. Shuttle service is quick, friendly and convenient. Lobby restaurant was empty when we were there . Staff, especially Ken J were friendly. Attentive and very accomodating. Only disappointment was I did not receive a room upgrade for being a Gold member.
Had a great long weekend here. Hotel is nice. Amazing baked Mac and cheese! The bar staff really set it apart from other hotels I've stayed! They're great, friendly, personable, and just fun to be around!
The location was convenient for our trip. It's walking distance from the town center Mall and right off 95. The room was nice as expected, though the bathroom had a rain shower with no door for some reason. Nice lobby, decent room service.
I called hotel many times and they transferred to lost and found, but people who are working on lost and found never answer the phone
Just wanted to say I booked a room here the day of needing it. Arrived at 8pm and asked for a 2pm check out and they could not have been more accommodating and lovely about it. I got to my room and ordered room service and I'm not kidding, I swear they delivered it 5 minutes later. The service there was excellent across the board. I also needed my tv fixed and a maintenance guy showed up asap. from a service standpoint, I felt like I was at the Four Seasons. Very appreciative!
Joseph Donat, Guest Services Agent, went above and beyond to help us with checkout. We were overall very pleased with the hotel.The staff were very helpful. The beds were very comfortable. The toilets, however, did not flush well. There was a coffeemaker in the room (but it made only 12 ounces, or 1.5 cups, at a time) and I would have preferred a Keurig style. There was a minifridge.The breakfast buffet was an excellent value with lots of options.The location is very convenient. Small but adequate exercise room and pool.The items in the hotel shop were extremely overpriced, though ($4 for 2 Motrin).
But open space a lot of room to move around. Also a nice place to have a post event party
Service was excellent and the check-in process was quick and easy. The rooms are a good size and there are plenty of places to eat and shop within a short walking distance of the hotel. They have a bar, fitness area, and restaurant all easily accessible. There is also a shuttle that can drop you off within 5 miles of the hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
The hotel is nice and breakfast seems to have a varied offering. Didn't stay for a room, so no insight there.
Great location near other hotels, the mall, restaurants, and the train to New York City.
Do not use Sheraton for catering or events. They are shady to deal with and have constant turnover, including the chefs.
Nice room, comfortable bed, annoying parking structure: pretty much what you'd expect from a chain hotel in a city downtown. If the price is right, definitely worth it.
Good hotel, some staff are amazing some just do a job, smaller hotel so the amenities are simple, needs to be more courteous to customers when theiy receive poor service

The Sheraton Stamford Hotel is a clean, comfortable hotel with comfortable beds, good climate control and a good shower. It has great facilities for meetings and conventions.
My stay for the weekend here was pretty good. Spacious room, okay view, king size bed (comfy), toilet was pretty low though, and the shower was pretty awesome. Friendly staff, courteous and helpful. Definitely would come back.

Enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton Stamford. Location was convenient to dining choices with a short walk. My client was across the street. First night I got there, there was a free social in the lobby with food included for free. My room was nice, a typical Sheraton room.
I love the hotel. The staff is sweet and the bedroom is appropriate and comfortable. The prices were a bit high though.
I stayed for one evening en route to Massachusetts. Check in was quick and easy,and the receptionist went through the trouble of double checking to make sure my request for hypoallergenic bedding had been filled. The unfortunate part of which came to be when I found that my "hypoallergenic" bedding was a rough blanket that felt like sandpaper.
The room was very large and had a huge bed. The bathroom was clean and modern, though is lacking a bathtub. A little disappointing for someone who has spent all day in a car and would have loved a bath. The room was very quiet, though the hotel didn't seem to be too full.
Self parking in attached garage was $10 per night with free in and out for guests, which was great as I ventured over to the mall to find some dinner.
All in all a decent stay.

Disappointing experience. Was here for a conference. Polite staff but clueless. Meals during the event were average at best. Did not dine in the restaurant because it has so many negative ratings online. This hotel does not live up to Starwood standards
When we were there a rally of employees took place, because the hotel had just fired 13 people for joining a union! They told us that the hotel is terribly understaffed and workers are now being punished for speaking up!

Stayed at Sheraton Stamford on New Year s Eve and next morning noticed my sheets were stained brown. Took pics and brought it to the attention of front desk staff. They asked me to forward the pics to the ma share Anthony Redding which I did and after multiple attempts to call, left voicemails and emails I never got a response. It s been more than a month now and still haven t heard anything! Im frequent customer at Sheraton but no longer at Sheraton Stamford.

This is a great hotel for business related and good for family reunions. Employees are great and very friendly. The Wi-Fi is not that great but it could've done better with it.

I am highly disgusted with the hotel restaurant manager named Roxie Chirvase as she decided to tell my 11 year old ADHD and Dyslexic son (who is already scared about life, generally speaking) that he couldn t sit at the table with outside food as he was waiting for me to finish checking in. She didn t have the decency to wait for me, the adult, but instead just told my son to leave the table.
Not to mention, I was going to order the restaurant food and sit at the table and eat dinner with my son like normal families do. The restaurant was not busy at all.
So we had to go up to our room so my son could eat his dinner. Then came back down so I, his mother, could have dinner alone at a table. Meanwhile, he s waiting at a computer station. So I asked her about the situation and all she could say is So you re going to take his word over mine? ...
This hotel is always busy and noisy but because it s cheap and affordable for the amount of time I was going to stay, I had no choice but to book with them. This is the last time I will ever step foot in this place.

The beds are like heaven. Oh yeah, nice hotel too. You do have to pay for parking, but that should not come as a surprise being a stones throw from NYC. Actually, the room-service breakfast is quite delicious too.
I had a great time here. The hotel was beautiful. The pool was fun and they had a nice gym. It was very central. Perks! The mall was just a block away and so was the beach. Loved it.
As a former Starwood employee based in Stamford, visited this place many times for corporate events / retreats. Excellent staff, pretty good facilities.
I went for a awards luncheon in the ball room. The food was very good and the people at the hotel were friendly and gave very good service.
