We were in area for tournament and stayed at this location for four nights. Our room was very comfortable and cleaning service very good. We asked for a small fridge at check in and by the time we got to our room it was waiting for us in hallway. #MustTry

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, energetic bar and restaurant areas without being over the top.

i was expecting a higher level of service, first of all some of the front office team doesn't have this hopitality approach, tone of voice , smile on their faces. it does not exist. Second when you check into a suite, their are some aminities that you need to see which also being not placed. for me they are trying to cut cost in the wrong seasonality to make more revenue or ADR!!! You ask for something like a fork it takes 25 minutes to receive it. you ask for a slipper it does not come while it should be part of your amenities ( 3 and four stars are keeping it why you are not ). What i know if you leave your pajamas on the bed, HK will organize it for you, they left it as is which gives you a clear inout about their promise and customer retintion. I do clearly not recommend staying in it unless you drop them a mail with what you are expecting and you have it documented from their management.

I really like this location of the Sheraton which why the price is $$$. The MoMa is nearby and walking distance to many Broadway plays. The real reason like it because it within the same block for the Halal Guys food food cart. I sauntered a line at 1AM in my pjs. Being able to eat lamb over rice in the comfort of my own warm room when the polar vortex eating away epidermis is worth the price of the hotel room.

There's a very organized coat check which they could hold my luggage.

The room was clean like many other rooms I've stayed at under the Sheraton umbrella.

Tried to use the $25 credit included in the daily hotel fee at the Club Lounge but still was charged the full amount of the drinks. Can t get ahold of anyone at the hotel to get a refund get hung up on each time I call. Would not recommend.

Very confusing, crowded and the fridge can not be used with products other than the hotel.

Oh my God! This was one of the best hotels in the entire world. They were right at your service . I 100% suggest this hotel!

Unfriendly, dirty (in particular the bathrooms), very small rooms, kingsizebed a total lie - (size of a regular child bed would be more adequate)
As soon as you check out the display such an unfriendly behaviour and treat you like you matter nothing. Additionally they charge you 4$ per luggage if you want to store it.
I ve been here now for the 5th time and this hotel has been by far the worst one.

Location was in the perfect place ...the door man and security was excellent very safe

The location is convenient. If you are a tourist and interested in Broadway Shows or Time Square it is in a great location.

The location is great but the only downside is that any upgrade is very expensive which is expected given it's New York.

Conference room was big, great sound, very clean. The staff was very attentive in cleaning up after meals. Bathrooms were conveniently located and very clean. Would definitely attend conference there again

Took my in-laws from Toronto to visit NYC. Booked few months before and requested for early check-in, since we have to drive 9-10 hrs from Toronto. Once arrived to the hotel, can't check in as there were no rooms available. Rude CSR. No apologizes or any sort. CSR agreed to call once the room is available. No calls and I have to follow up with them to find out there were rooms available. Old and noisy hotel to stay in. Horrible SPG membership hotel.

Very nice room. But poor service. Stayed during the UN conference. Priority went to their Clinton party and other customers had to tolerate the poor service. To think we probably paid full room prices and they would have got special rates!

Location is great and the lobby is nice. Rooms, including the bathroom, are tiny and walls are thin. Decent price for location and the staff is friendly

Rude reception staff. First impression is down the dumps for the paying guests, when hotels employ staff like Ms. Akada , who is not fit to be in customer service.
Very very disappointed & hurt customer here. NEVER EVER AGAIN in this property. NEVER!!

Extremely expensive and doesn't have many amenities. Not worth the cost. Rooms are extremely small and the lobby is extremely busy. Many better hotels in the area for the same price. Not up to par for a 4 star hotel.

Close to Times Square, good architecture and service

The food delicious attention since we went to the end of the year it was all full but we had a good time the attentive and warm waiters

Hotel is awesome. Was there for business. Internet was great. Rooms are nice, clean. The location is awesome in Manhattan. Highly recommended.

Really nice hotel. Gets quite busy with the starbucks inside it. However that is handy also. Rooms are nice. Good location close to times square.

The doorman could be nice regardless if you have checking in or not. but other than that the staff and everybody was fake

Great location just north of Times Square. We bought access to the club lounge and it was really worth it. They put out a nice buffet each morning and heavy hors d ouvers each night. The room was quite small (especially the bathroom) but we had a fabulous view of Central Park. I would stay here again, but I would look for a cheaper room rate.

Close to everything. Beautiful hotel. Very well kept. Always clean. Spacious. You will not regret it. I plan to stay again here soon.

An iconic American and international area. Everyone should visit at least once. There's always something fun to do or see here

The best part of this hotel was the location. I found everything so easy to get to from there. Also plenty of food options around. The bathroom wasn't the nicest/cleanest however the room was good and the service was great.

Location. Location. Location. Next to the famous Halal Guys on 53rd and 6th and within walking distance to Central park, Times Square and Broadway shows.

The location in the heart of Manhattan is exceptional, 3 minutes walk to Times Square. Attached to the metro. For the rest, it is very chaotic, often there are meetings with many people and some rooms are old. However advisable if you find a good offer.

Great location, just a short walk to times square and right next to the subway. I really enjoyed running in Central Park in the morning before I left, and could due to a noon checkout time. My room was recently updated and had a new LCD TV and fresh, clean linens. I had a wonderful stay.

The Sheraton is a nice hotel, great location. A bit pricey but Midtown is Midtown. Was here for several nights for a college conference and conference rooms were well-equipped. Staff was incredibly rude when we asked for a change of bedsheets. Elevators are nightmarish during peak hours. Lots of great food nearby. Considering the fact that they were dealing with an unusually large amount of college students, I think the Sheraton did a good job of accommodating us all.

Great hotel. Super comfortable beds, very clean, great location, very helpful and friendly staff. If you're planning on staying near Times Square, I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed there ten years ago, and I could not make an objective evaluation for so many years. However, when I got there, I was a bit lackluster. I suppose they have already restored it.

The hotel is in a very desirable area the view of times square is nice and it is close to anything you would want. The staff is very nice and helpful.

No brainer. Excellent location, easy transport. Times Square it's at your foot. If crowds are not problem for you and can afford it, it's your place.

Rooms are OK, but the hotel is huge and the conference events make it very impersonal and crowded. I was there for vacation and would not recommend it for this kind of trip.

I stay here a lot for work. Location is good and rooms are nice. I like having electrical outlets easily accessible on the nightstand lamps. A lot of other hotels don't have this.

The place is nice but the experience wasn't too great. Some friends were visiting over the labor day weekend and they decided to stay here. Upon their arrival they were told that none of the rooms were ready yet and they had to wait for almost an hour before they were given a room. The problem is that this wasn't even early in the day when they are still trying to get the rooms ready when the guests from previous night have just left but more around 6 pm. All hotels have the stupid policy of putting the check in time of 3 pm and the. They kick you out at 11 am the next day and then things like these happen. Not impressed at all!!

Rooms are tiny, as is expected in a NYC hotel room. Overall, an affordable option in a very touristy location. 3-4 minute walk to Time Square.

The conference facilities were fine and the staff was helpful. The food was better than the Sheraton across the street.

Didn't clean the room for 3 nights despite calling to have it turned over

I am a Starwoods loyal guest. This experience sitting in the lobby of the hotel makes me wonder why. I am gold, not platinum. They made that clear...

I arrived after 26 hours of in-flight travel and requested an early check in. That was at 0700. The reception team explained that as soon as a room becomes available, they would immediately let me know.

Well, it has been five hours and I have been people watching. One of the guests walks by and is telling everyone, "this is the worse hotel ever". Another man walks away and tells his wife, "why did we decide to stay her again? This is such a bad hotel"

It is convenient... and they know.

Marriott as you assess your hotels, please be mindful that this one may be a bad one.
