It was a nice experience. Stuff is so active, friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet is so good and the espresso is great. It is included in the breakfast without extra charges. Overall experience is so good.
Very Old hotel that really needs full renovation. It is not fair to rate it as a 5 stars hotel but still it is a clean hotel with very polite and cooperative staff. Has a good pool and beach but you have to cross the road that is not a nice experience if you have a family but we have to mention that the security team will help you cross the road and they are really cooperative
The stuff is super friendly, but I Had concerns on the cleanliness. The mugs in the room were dirty (coffee leftovers), the bathroom was smelly, and there was water leakage. The wardrobes smell was inconvenient. I did not bother to complaint because i stayed 1 quick night only.
Across from sea, nice view, unheated pool but fairly large, old furniture in rooms, needs major overhaul but adequate for simple lodging needs.
Not the best option if you are planning a good holiday in Alexandria , I ranked it 3 stars only for the view, the rooms are small it seems outdated in furniture , the food isn't good at all,

This is a very beautiful five atar hotel, view is very good. You can see blue sea water from your balcony.

Wi-fi connection available in lobby only. Dusty rooms, old and smelly rooms, dirty breakfast. Noisy rooms and way too expensive for the quality they offer in terms of food and accommodation.

Guest rooms that overview the sea and Montazah palace have an amazing view. Rooms that overview the city are just a waste of money and time. Rooms are small and old furnished. Beds and pillows are not so comfortable. Bathrooms are small too with not much space to move and with old and narrow bathtubs. Also they were not so clean.
The hotel is expensive with respect to the service given. It relies on its name and reputation in attracting residents. But I have no doubt that other less expensive hotels in Alex provide much better services.
Very clean and neat place, breakfast was good with fair selection of food....But the best thing and always winning edge it's prime location viewing Montazah Park and the sea.
The disadvantages that the rooms size is quite small.....
And they closed the sea panorama Cafe which were at the M floor and convert it to a bar not serving anything except alcohol, so the variety to enjoy the view while drinking something specially if it's raining and the outdoor area is closed.
Feels like a 2 or 3 stars maximum. Bad service, facilities and basically everything..

Friendly people, but the rooms aren t up to standard. Definitely not what I m use to have from either Sheraton or Marriott for that matter. It s a very old and outdated hotel. Also the rooms look much different from the pictures on the internet.
Magic Sea view, good location, poor service and small rooms.
Rooms are bit small but it's very modern. The private beach closes at sunset and opens at 9am. The rooms that offers sea view is wonderful.
I had checked into the hotel on the day of my birthday. The receptionist noticed it coz she copied my passport. Sadly, the hotel didn't even bothered to provide a complimentary drink or cake. If Sheraton is committed to customer's satisfaction, then this is a basic service they should perform because even small restaurants will offer cake or drink to their patrons on their birthday.
The best place to stay in Alex . Staff was very helpful and they smile all the time . The care about every single detail to make your stay more comfort and smooth . Thank you Sheraton el Montazah . You did really a good job by the way internet was very fast ( you can play a 720p video quality on it )

Our stay at the Sheraton Montazah Hotel was brief but very pleasant. The service was exceptional - fast, friendly and professional; the rooms were clean, comfortable and well-appointed with a hairdryer and free bottles of water; the beds were comfortable and the showers great (good water pressure and hot). The buffet breakfast was delicious with a wide array of options to suit most tastes, as was the cuisine at the Italian restaurant on site. The Sheraton is well-positioned on the beachfront and within a short walk to the beautiful Montazah Palace.

Excellent location overlooking Alexandria's Montazah Palace, excellent food, the rooms are little out dated but still the overall quality of the place is good and the view from the room is superb. The hotel has a very clean private beach, as well as an excellent private pool.

Nothing like the Sheraton in the US but clean. Spent $320 US dollars per night on a suite. Kinda pricy I thought. Breakfast included. That part came in handy.
I found bugs in the beds and there was hair on the floor and in the bathtub and in the sink. But the beach is realy clean and nice.
The rooms r old, tourist prices r about 1k higher than the prices offered to egyptians, i find it a little overpriced for what it is as a saudi egyptian person
The staff are helpful and friendly but the building, rooms and furniture seems never renovated since the hotel was opened. I am surprised that Marriott acept this standard.

Didn't like that much, rooms were very small and the breakfast buffet didn't have many options. The exterior of the building was not 5starish as well. The only good point it has was that, the view these rooms have! Great view of the Montazah garden and the Mediterranean Sea!
Really old hotel, badly needs renovations. The beach dosent even have benches. The breakfast was not good. Room had old furniture. Hallways had weird carpet smell. But i guess for the price not bad and can do. But far away from any kind of 5 star experience.

Helpful staff, couldn't make it myself in the rooms, but my sister did, convenient service and value for money.
Hygiene tho is not there beat priority, give some guidance to the house keepers and you will be fine. Enjoy.

The private beach is across the street on the other side and to risky to cross. As well, the beach is very bad and not clean.
Bottom line: do not book here for a vacation.
