I was a camper every summer for 9 years and a senior counselor for one of the best and most important summer's of my life at Shepherds Fold. I always said that if God had a vacation spot, it was here. The Staires family were truly following the Lords direction when they founded this ministry and my life will forever be changed because of their investment. I could not suggest this summer camp more strongly!

The staff is friendly and they really do try to emphasize finding God amidst the chaos that may be happening in the world. I have met so many world changers/kingdom workers who I will never forget. God is good!
This year was my kids first time at Shepherd's Fold Camp. The first thing they asked us when we went to visit them at camp , was if they could attend the Camp next year. They had a great experience. As a parent, I can see a huge difference on my kids behavior for the better. I would encourage every parent out there, that is looking for an amazing camp experience, to send their kids to Shepherd's Fold. You will not regret!
Shepard s Fold was all we could have imagined it would be!! Our son was a bit nervous traveling 4 hours away and not knowing anyone. Let me tell you, he didn t want to leave. He still talks about the fun, friends, and fellowship. I love how they disconnect the kids from the world and soak them in the Gospel!! I definitely recommend this experience for any child!!
It was a very good experience and has a good environment for kids and teenagers. The staff were very nice and fun to be around. It has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
I not only see more maturity in my 11 year old after this experience but also that her faith climbed to a new level. Her councilor was awesome as was everyone I met. Parent night was phenomenal. The food was delicious and gave me a little relief to see her well being before the end of the week! However, she wasn't as excited to see me as she was enjoying her independence! The campers are treated with the utmost respect.
A smaller organized, encouraging mentor-based camp providing kids and adolescents an Amazing Christ filled experience! It may be costly, but kids can come as a youth group OR as individuals! Way better than Falls Creek.
