They have not been open for months and when they are we get treated horribly by the same waitress having sat at a table for over 45 minutes just to order, purposely avoiding us, I know how it sounds but it's true. As for the food it's absolutely delicious. Great food, one horrible staff member, it doesn't way out.

Our waitress was great. She managed to keep everyone in the establishment taken care of all on her own. As far as the food. Eh. Its a diner but for around the same price you can find the same kinds of plates with much higher quality else where in the area. The soda shop is apart of my childhood. I have many memories of walking across the hydro station bridge to the soda shoppe for lunch. One thing they've always done right is their milk shakes!! As kids we always got a kick out of the legend of the famous that suddenly came crashing thru one of the windows and into the restaurant. If you do find yourself at the soda shoppe be sure to look for the table with a deer figurine and order a chocolate frappe. Or strawberry or vanilla whichever you fancy.

I went here with my sister and my adult niece. I ordered a Steuben sandwich (a Reuben with turkey, cole slaw, and wheat bread). It was not the best I've had. My sister ordered supposed "Grilled Chicken Salad". The vegetables (mostly iceberg lettuce) were dry, but the worst thing was, the "grilled" chicken breast had no grill marks on it and was not even a real chicken breast. Whatever it was had tiny bubbles throughout. It was obviously a chicken product shaped in the form of a breast. She didn't eat it and got it taken off the bill. Not worth returning.

We arrived at this restaurant for a meeting. we heard about this spot from a lot of people. Well, it was very successful. The crew were very polite and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was tasty. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.

Soda Shoppe was amazing! My husband and I went there while on vacation. I couldn't believe it wasn't packed for how good the food was. We went there for breakfast and I honestly expected mediocrity (it's hard to do breakfast wrong, but even harder to make it special). The woman who took our order was friendly and the food came out quick. The taste was amazing. We would definitely go back there for breakfast all the time if we lived around here!

This was our first trip back in about 3 years and don't know why it took that long to find our way back. Breakfast is out favorite eat out meal and the SS does it in spades. We both ordered the 1/2 biscuits and gravy (used to be be able to eat the whole one) 1 whole biscuit cut in half topped a sausage patty and scrambled eggs smothered in white gravy. Toss in hash browns ( not home fries) and you are good to go for hours. Pancakes are light and fluffy. Place could use some updating but the food and pricing make it worth it.

Great classic diner. They have shakes & awesome breakfast food. Buttery food & an old school environment that you don t see everywhere. Wonderful clubs sandwiches & deep fried home fries.
