I tried to get a homeless drive going at Cherokee Hills Baptist Church when I used to attend there. I asked Pastor Mark if he would encourage his congregation to bring blankets, canned goods, coats, and bottled water. He refused to participate. The Bible says, 1 John 3:17, "But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?" I would not recommend this church for this very reason. They teach about the Lord, but they could care less about helping the Lord's people. Actions speak louder than words.

Love the people here. Coming out of this pandemic was a challenge, but God provided for CHBC and now they are starting to open back up and I have never felt the Holy Spirit in a church as much as CHBC!

I attend CHBC, my score is biased, so I decided to give it 4 stars because, let's be honest, there is no such thing as perfection this side of heaven. My family and I have been here since we moved from CA a few years ago. We have been welcomed as family since then. This church has strong groups through all the generations where many churches are strong only in young adult or mature adult or people only attend for the children's youth groups. I love this congregation as they always strive to seek God's leading within it's walls as well as in he community. Mike's preaching is sincere and his life testimony is kin to most regular folks life story. He and his family are great people to know. We'd love for you to visit us, we'd love it more when you decide to stay, but most importantly, seek God's calling for you in which church to attend. Once Jesus is in your heart, He will use you in the Body where He best sees fit. PEACE be with you.

Visited for the first time today. Was SUPER disappointed to see that ZERO mask mandates are being enforced. 95% of people were not wearing masks or keeping 6ft apart, including church leadership such as pastors or worship leaders. They only had every other aisle blocked off but that didn t stop anyone.

As a visitor, only one person spoke to me. I'm pretty hard to miss since I am handicapped.
The sermon was average and the church seemed to be without a music program. The chairs were very uncomfortable. The whole service lacked warmth and when it was over, everyone seemed like they couldn't get out of there quick enough. There were no greeters at the door. It didn't seem like a congregation just a group of people who showed up st the same time and the same place. No one seemed to care about a stranger. Good thing I wasn't an angel.
