Great hotel, live music, good restaurants. . I'm 67 years old and I love this place, right by the beach.

Beautiful place with lots to do....went parasailing and it was amazing..captain john and his mate Brandon were wonderful....would recommend this place to everyone

Went for thanksgiving buffet. Food was awful, service worse.

Come visit for their dinner buffet! The crab legs are more fresh than Sunday brunch. $30 is a bit too much, but they have good selection and large range of food items. Staff were friendly and service was excellent.

Great place to hear live music, have a drink and just relax

Spent the evening at the bar, having dinner, drinks and listening to live music. Food was good, service was ok, music was great, and being forced to spend $20 to use valet parking sucked.

Great place for drinks and to see world famous DJs.

the nightclub at this place smelled like vomit, bathrooms were out of toilet paper and horribly unclean, noticed the place was in disrepair and badly needing a remodel, security was very lacking as 21 year olds are screaming and running everywhere doing shots and power drinking unabated, We will not be back here.

We want a group to the wave night club we got the bill the end of the evening.
I took the charge pay 50% on card and the rest cash.
On top on that I left tip.
The lady miss understood me she capt the cash has a tip took the tip I left on card plus the hall balance on my card .
Never will go there again.

Great outdoor pool, and private beach. Has bars and live entertainment, with an outdoor stage

I wish I would've got the lady's name behind the counter. Shes the reason why we ended up staying. Very nice and professional! Great hotel with amazing view, beautiful pool area and it's own private beach. The hotel room itself was also very nice as well. No complaints at all except my staycation was way to fast!

We loved this place. It was crowded but we didnt know it was graduation weekend.. However we still had a great time. The pool was nice, private beach, live entertainment. We will return

Went for NYE party. Nice place, great view. We got a table, so the bouncers weren't rude. Bottles and tables were decently priced, not super expensive. Worth it for a large group party.

Great food that is located right on the waterfront of Clearwater Beach. I love going to the buffet in the evenings and listening to the band on the beach.

First time in Clearwater and enjoyed our stay at Shephard's Beach Resort!! Valet was quick and easy, as well as check-in. The surf and turf buffet for dinner was delicious and worth every penny. The outside tiki bar had live music which was a nice touch. The beach area was small but was comfortable. So many seashells and seaglass to search for. Beach chair rentals are $10, which may be worth it if the weather is nice. I sat on the rocks and enjoyed my coffee from the convenience store near the lobby. Wish they had more hot tubs but only because we visited in February.

Warm private beach, amazing sunsets, good music, good drinks.. happy place. Room were comfortable, spacious, very clean and neat. I'll certainly go back.

Pricey but hey its Clearwater beach and they do have it all. Service for the most part is Good, just watch your servers, they do get CRANKY

The bartenders were nice and professional, drinks were reasonable and the music was good. Overall a great time

No hot water in bathroom. Apparently shut off. it was a motion detector faucet, so
you couldn't even waste the hot water if you wanted to. how are you supposed to prevent the spread of Corona when you can't wash your hands with hot water.

The hotel was VERY clean! I cannot speak highly enough about the house keeping staff for helping when my kiddo got ill or when we forgot things in the room after checkout. While it is still close to the beach, my only regret is that I wish it were even closer to the beach.

This is a fun place, great music, food and sunsets.

Horrible service. Treated by wrongfully entitles bouncers with egos that they need to survive on.

Great resort... didnt have the kids with us this time but definitely a kid friendly environment and enough things to keep the adults happy as well

The breakfast buffet was always fresh and clean. The food tasted very good and has lots of variety. The grits and pulled pork hash was my favorite! They have everything for everyone though. The dinner buffet was just as good. My drink was the ginger Lily and was strong and in a mason jar cup! Amazing!

I can't say enough about this place. Gentleman Nick that checked us in was by far the best customer service I have ever had. He was responsive as well as caring to our being. The only I would say is, the security could smile every once in a while. You would ask them a question and they would respond with negative tone.

Good hotel in an appealing location. The outdoor concert was ready shortly after 22:00 clock and then it was quiet in the area. Valet parking and check-in are unnecessarily complicated. The staff could be friendlier.

The music was to loud, had to wait over an hour for food, the waitress said she was takening 25 percent off the bill for the wait and didnt. Dont go here here are better places to eat then this place. Save ur money

This is the number one place to go for whatever you may be looking for! My saying here is whatever happens at Shepard's on Clearwater beach stays here at the beach! Let your imagination run wild!!! Great great times to be remembered for a lifetime here!

I always love coming here. I am a local to the Tampa Bay area and always feel like I'm on vacation when I come here. There is always either a DJ or a live artist/band.

This place is great. Housekeepers and valet do a great job. Location is alright because you face the next island and not the gulf. The private beach, pool, and bars make for a comfortable, relaxing, fun day. The room is beautiful, large, and comfy even though we do not face the gulf. As a young couple we do not mind the music played until about 2 am but be aware that you may still be able to hear it. Good place for large 21+ groups.Otherwise definitely recommend!

Nice small private beach really close to hotel. They charge for chairs and umbrellas though. Great hot tub.

Only one star because of construction on the beach, next to the bar.

The front desk staff named Shayla in particular is an unprofessional and vindictive person. She gave me a hard time to check in. I was traveling with others, my room was conveniently not ready when every one else's was. She should be fired.

Nice clean hotel. Great view of the beach. Awesome location, has a concert area and many restaurants/bars just behind the resort. Great customer service.

I've been in the USA 4 yrs it was the first place i was taken to 3.29.15 I met my girl there we go there at times atmosphere, music ,vibe ,people its a nice hang out spot so every year we go there on our anniversary the date we met was always memorable. This yr It was on a Friday came home from work late showered pick my girl up n drove 32 miles to my favorite spot hungry as he'll ordered a drink n our food.it didn't look as apetible as usual but i was hungry had only break fast at 9 this was like 13 hrs later my girl said don't eat that I said its ok baby I'm hungry but then i had to call the waitress I do construction i work too hard for my money she said it was the way the fries were its How it's served took my phone out to make a video the other one approached my girl ask her if she would eat that she said yes but she will order us some more fries when it came out she through it down on the counter said nothing to us I just shook my head I called her after few minutes ask her if she thought it was good customer service SMH. Told her take it bk we are not dogs She was so rude we had planned on enjoying our night at shepherds as usual so we closed our bill. Moved to the next bar and actually had a couple more drinks made it a memorable night n got food on my way home . now look at this they serving as fries

Bands great and the setting. My Beef is letting these BIG BOAT YAHOOS. Playing their music so loud it overpowers the band. They also are letting their boats rack around in the swim area where no one can swim. AHLS. think they own the gulf and so rude.
I asked if someone could ask them to move but its not hotels property. These people with the boats are so Rude. Hotel said the were bringing people in to watch them closely.
I hope Shore police.

Picturesque and scenic resort with lots of amenities and style. The outside bar area and party deck are lots of fun. There is a easy walk down the road to get to just about anything. I would definitely stay here again

Solo trip! I went during the week to avoid the weekend crowd. I enjoyed from the time I pulled up until I left. Everything I needed was there. The beach, pool, dining and entertainment was great. I was able to get up in the morning, go put a towel on beach chair to reserve and go to breakfast at Open Flame. I enjoyed sitting on the beach and watching all the boat traffic head out to the Gulf. There was food and drinks served right on the beach by a waiter. Can't get that sitting on the public beach nor alcohol. The small beach has a lot of sea shells so that made walking on shells a little difficult. I also enjoyed the view and nightly music from my balcony.
