Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre Review

Excellent production of Newsies. Great singing, dancing and acting. All seating is good and easy to see the stage. We used the ticket pickup at the box office which was simple and easy.

All in the Timing was a hilarious show with great actors and actresses.

Always wonderful performances. Sound of Music has always been my favorite musical. Humming songs still!

Outstanding!!! Saw Ragtime. Very powerful stage production. Worth the drive!

The production of West Side Story was very well done. The theatre is a very nice venue.

I went to see West Side Story and it was a very good performance. The actors and actresses were very talented and the music was fantastic. I would highly recommend this summer theater.

Very nice theater, comfortable seating, ample leg room. Easy to find on campus, plenty of parking.

The particular production we saw featured superb voices overall. Well lite, well staged. Only the sound design fell a bit short.

I've seen many performances here, all of great quality. I believe the building needs a renovation though. The lobby could use some more space as well.

Shenandoah University does great productions and I enjoy the shows there. I have purchased season tickets for the last 10 years and have never been disappointed. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the musicals is always great.

Just saw Beauty and the Beast. The scenery was gorgeous! One of the best productions I have seen.

Awesome. Wasn't sure how they would do a musical from Young Frankenstein. Probably better than the movie. Loved it.

We saw "Ragtime" last weekend. What a performance! As good as any Broadway play I have seen. Congrats to everyone involved. Can't wait to see another play.

Watched Rag Time and it was the best play I ever saw at SU.The Raw emotions of the players comes through as they deliver this poignant play.Must see!!

This was my 3rd summer watching a show here and I loved every minute of it. The acting, singing and dancing is always great. It is easy to purchase the tickets online and pick them up before the show. Seating is comfortable and there are no bad seats in my opinion. I've had a seat all the way in the front and also this year almost all the way in the back. No complaints. They also have a nice selection of plays. I can't wait till next year.
Parking is easy, bathrooms are clean. Everything is wheelchair accessible.
Always a great time.

Absolutely top notch acting and singing, orchestra, and sets, year after year. They bring in professionals -- alumni of the school in some cases -- for some roles, with one example being that the actor playing Jean val Jean in Les Miserables a couple of years ago had actually played the role on Broadway.

Surprisingly good production value and talent for a college show. We've been back a few times and always enjoy it.

Got tickets on the same day and good seats. Great cast and crew all around! We saw Newsies good show.

I saw Macbeth and it was amazing Shenandoah always puts on a great show.
