The Mosque is a must place to visit if you are in Abu Dhabi. It is absolutely stunning!!! Been here for the first time last week.

This is a must visit when in Abu Dhabi. The craftsmanship and thought which went into this building is incredible.

It's called Grand Mosque because it's huge. Very elegant design, lots of decorated columns, lots of parking spaces but with a bit of walking.
Ladies should be covered with maximum face and hands visible, there's a special entrance for ladies where they'll be offered hear scarfs and abaya, the all body cover dress. In the summer it'll be very hot in them, but ladies will get used to it :).
Clean, a main attraction for tourists. There's a cafe for fast snacks and a souvenir shop near the entrance.

A very organized setup. Some people say it is better than taj mahal. May be they have not seen the Taj Mahal. But still for whatever it is worth, this grand mosque is truly grand in every sense

I have been in this place for a job travel.
From the first second, the panorama has been wonderful, the build, the light, the environment, the atmosphere, i felt a lot of things that remind me how can be beautiful the human's opera.
I wanted to stay there so much time because this place require at least and half day for fast seeing.
The most beautiful moment is when the sun go down and the light turn on, the blue on the external surface, the warm tone in the internal space, the gold details in the columns, simply wow!
The most beautiful things are the 3 different internal areas:
- The square or the court, really really big, where you can see all the structure's perimeter, the border which fade with the dark sky, the illuminated hallways and all the people around;
- The first internal room, by this place to the last in necessary to take off the shoes, you can leave them in the external court without problem.
Inside this place there are a decorated walls, a fantastic chandelier over your head and my favourite, the enormous mirrored door;
- The second internal environment, is the main place, under your feet there is an enormous decorated carpet, in the walls there are some beautiful designs, over yours head there are some fantastic chandeliers which illuminate the domes. The various octagonal islands are supported by large columns with golden decorations and in some place you can walk under this structures.
At least one time in the life you must see this place!

I am not a Muslim or even any kind of believer, but this place is amazing.

great mosque. too bad that visitors who want to pray during the visit outside prayer times, are un-guided

One of the most Beautiful architectural structures I have seen, and a must see if you're in Abu Dhabi. It is a mosque so keeping that in mind visit the place with the proper attire. The place is with clear guidelines on where to go and signs on where to stop and take a snap. The detail is astounding all around the place regardless if it is just the floor, the wall or the above ceiling. also if I am not mistaken there is the worlds largest hand made carpet inside the mosque which is a beautiful piece of art. also please be mindful not to take any food or drinks because even a candy or a gum will have to be left at the security check point at the entrance. I noticed that many tourists had to leave these type of items which they brought in.

I have travelled extensively in my life, however this mosque left me speechless. Absolutely recommended, especially at dawn! Please be respectful with your attire and sound level.

Beautiful place, too many people crowded together and a bit miffed that their website said nothing about their tattoo policy. Had to cover them up with loaner clothing.

Had the most majestic experience here...but since i went during Iftar time, things went a bit awry...the mosque was closed after iftar and one had to walk about two kilometres to get to the main entrance for your car...management gotta do something about it...there were kids and elderly people who had to walk a lot.... i wasnt tired roaming inside the mosque..but this walk around to reach back to the parking made me miserable.

Stunning mosque with plenty of staff on hand to help and direct. Very clean including the toilets and ablution areas.

You can feel the divinity, it doesnt matter which religion you are just feel the positivity.

The highlight of any trip to Abu Dhabi. This mosque is beautiful and non-Muslims can go inside and see the famous carpet inside. Make sure to go early morning or late afternoon if you visit in the summer.

This is a milestone locations, its a must go place for visiotrs and tourist, Good place to explore if you are visiting Abudhabi as yurist and interested in modrwn islamic architecture... There is a organized tour to the mosque which is quite interesteing and informative...

Big and majestic place. You have to wear closed clothes especially for woman. Inside is 70% outdoor area. There are several cafes in front of the entryway for those who wants to wait.

One of the best attractions in Abu Dhabi. It is wonderful, magnificent and greatly detailed and crafted. Just put on comfortable pair of shoes and prepare to walk long distance even before reaching the main building, also don't forget to backup your sunglass as the reflection of the sunlight on white marble can be quite annoying. You can enjoy shopping too at the commercial part of the mosque with food court housing all types of cuisine

The mosque is a master piece. Speaks class. The architectural design is second to none, beautiful white marble.

It's the 3rd world largest mosque and can accommodate over 41,000 people praying at the same time. It's an awesome tourist attraction and the activities of tourist in the mosque are well planned and monitored. Ladies are given dresses that will ensure they have their body and hair fully covered before entering the mosque.

Extremely beautiful design, interior work is outstanding, love it

My wife and I loved the beautiful work put in to this Mosque. From the art work, massive hand stitched carpet to the huge chandeliers this was absolutely stunning. If you're driving don't do any paid tour as the ticket to get in is free and they also provide a free tour every hour on the hour that is very informative. In you're in Dubai try and make a way to get to Abu Dhabi for this visit yoo won't regret it.

I always visit here with my family visitors or friends all, a lovely place. Be ready to walk through checkpoints and scanning machines.

This place is probably one of the biggest mossque in the world I've ever been to. it has a beautiful artichet and just Amazing, we spent 1 day covering the mosque and it was great... Highly recommended

The mosque is truly breathtaking. It's must see when visiting Abu Dhabi or Dubai. When going by bus make sure the bus is going all the way. Only every other bus goes all the way to mosque.

A beautiful beautiful place, I have visited around 10 times in the last 6 years. Magnificent building.

Awesome place. King zayeds maqbara is present here where people would be reciting Quran day and night. All the lady visitors are advised to cover their head while visiting the mosque.

Beautiful architecture! Well worth a visit when you have time in Abu Dhabi! Remember to cover, but don't stress too much ladies, they have coverings available.

Absolute must see. Can get busy. Stunning exquisite design of the highest quality. No charge for entry but be aware of strict dress code . Clothing available but beware that photo id needed as deposit for this.

This church made me remember SHEIKH Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and i remembered my grandfather dying and we prayed in that church which made me feel better and believe that my grandfather is going to heaven and because in the hospital he died while he was praying

Amazing Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Its huge and beautiful, staff are fabulous. To all who wishes to visit the Mosque do consider your clothing in islam its very strict that people wear decent clothing. Every staff from entering till they drop you by cart to your first point are friendly and helpful. Its just a wonderful peaceful place. I loved every second being there and had amazing photos which I am going to share
