Absolut impressive building which you must visit when you visit Abu Dhabi. I recommend going there in the evening after sun down to see it when it is illumianted. Totally fascinating building and especially when the lights are reflecting on the white marble floors. This building counts to the most stunning and impressive buildings I've ever seen in my life.

One of the most beautiful masjids in the world. Truly breathtaking.
One tip for Muslims don't pay to see the main hall. Go there and pray jumuah they charge tourists to see inside the main hall. 5 daily prayers are not prayed in main hall due to them making money from tourists. Main hall only open for Jumuah, Taraweeh prayers and Salatul Eid.

The grand mosque feels magical, and you are in amaze at what you see, from the chandelier, marble flooring and post, the mother of pearl master pieces to the softness of the carpet and the magical sound when the call of prayer sounds.
I love it here, it brings me peace and tranquillity.

The mosque is Grand only when you reach the main prayer Hall. The visitor management needs improvement. Lot of time is spent before entering. Except for the main mosque it seems you are in a Mall.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque stands out as one of the world s largest mosques, and the only one that captures unique interactions between Islam and world cultures. The open-door policy invites tourists and celebrants from all around the world who can witness the spectacular onion-top domes, the reflective pools that engulf the courtyard and the iconic prayer hall, which not only overflows with blissful sunlight, but also houses the world s biggest chandelier and carpet, both meticulously handmade. Be sure to spot the calligraphy encircling the hollows of the domes, etched with verses from the Quran and painted with gold leaves in An-Naskh lettering.

It is a must watch in Abu Dhabi. It has a capacity for 50000 people to pray together. There are 72 domes all of which are made out of pure 24K gold. The carpet in the Central hall is the biggest single carpet in the world weighing 35 tons and the colours used in the carpet are all natural colours made up of different types of flowers. It is a very sacred place and hence there are rules to be followed. The attire has to be according to the rules. Women have to cover their heads and wear Abayas and men also have to be properly attired. No short pants and sleeveless shirts allowed. The entry ticket is also to be preserved as it is asked at 3 points while entering the mosque. A beautiful place, not to be missed for the entire family.

This is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates. The beautiful architecture of the mosque defines the distinctness of the Islamic world with the mixture of historical and modern values. The majority part of this place is clad with beautiful marble slabs. This wonderful site act as an educational learning center to promote the cultural activities and the historical significance of the religion. There is a big library which can be accessed by all the visitors, it contains huge collections of classic books and publications covering the subject areas related calligraphy, ancient civilization timeline, Islam as a religion and its history, Quran and its relationship with science, the arts, and coins. The books are available in the many languages such as Arabic, English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Korean.

Stunning location! The attention to detail on the stonework, the carpet, the chandeliers, down to the exterior lights that change according to the moon. Definitely the top destination to see when in Abu Dhabi. Be advised that you must dress conservatively as this is a place of worship. During my last visit, it appeared that they are building a shopping center with restaurants and shops adjacent to the mosque. Glad the Emirates allowed this gem to be open to the public, as religions are something to be shared.

Beautiful, now is way more safe than before, there is a whole process with free tickets, security to reach thr Mosque.
Cafeterias and places to eat are on the first floor as you get out of the underground visitors parking.
Its alright if you are going with someone in a wheelchair or elder people. There is a lift to take up to the mosque.

For women that are non Muslim or dont wear scarfs. There is nothing to be afraid of, and the modest clothes is given on the place before you enter.

Stunning contemporary mosque, ornate but not ostentatious. Free tour well worth it, less for the explanations, more for the improved access to the quieter western column hall and the center of the prayer hall.

One of the best Mordern wonder. It is magnificent, white and beautiful. One should surely visit it, when in UAE. Hardly a one hour amazing drive from Dubai. Here entry is free and you've to wear full covered clothes and there should be no revealing tattoo on the body else they won't allow to enter. It will take nearly an hour to enjoy this beautiful mosque.

This masjid is carefully maintaining by abudabi govt. And this masjid is there in the memory of grand father of UAE sheikh zayed. His grave is also their. So you should visit this masjid by keeping manners without taking romantic snaps or laughing loudly. If you do so securities will catch. It is well protected by great security force.
It is very beautiful and big masjid where 30,000 peoples are having ifthar at ramadan days.
You must visit.
