Amazing place in Abu Dhabi. It is a must see attraction in.

Breath taking art, great place to visit in the evening, please take care of your dress code especially women before visiting but it is totally worth it, gives a lot of internal peace as well

I am very proud about this Masjid. I hope someday can visit it again with my whole family. I suggest the management to give lesson about Islamic value in the wall so visitors can read it. And i hope someday that masjid will provide zamzam water too

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque has to be one of the most stunning examples of Islamic architecture. Even as you drive up to the grounds, the sheer magnitude of the mosque leaves you speechless. From the moment you step inside, the beauty, grandeur and serenity of the place overwhelms you. And without a doubt, taking a moment to listen to the call to prayer (azan/ adhan) is one of the best things you can do. The effect is almost magical especially at sunset. I highly recommend you visiting the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque when touring either Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

This is by far the most overrated mosque I have ever been to.
it has nothing speacial in it architecture wise nor islamic interior.

Beautiful and total white, don't forget your sunglasses and wear proper clothes.

Magnificent Mosque, lot of respect and love for this beautiful creation. Esthetics to its perfection, must visit. Need to be modestly dressed. Better to visit when it's winter. it's maintained fantastic. Chandeliers are so good, they are such beauty. It's great to spend an evening there. Even have a great Coffee shop in it.

A good combination of cultural and modern art and architecture. The spectacular chandeliers, the magnificent columns, the beautiful carpets, the brilliant pools and much more makes the mosque a must visit place.

No access to the central court, no access inside (only a little room for praying), shopping and restaurants in the parking... all this is not the spirit of a mosque which should be full open and no business...
Also not "charming" like historical mosque such as aya sofia in Istanbul or omeyyades in damascus...

Must visit place in Abudhabi.... recently one have to go register from the front egg structured building to enter... also online registration is available

Definitely worth a visit, the guided tour offered for me gives you an insight of the history of the beginning of UAE and the rich culture of Islam.

Simply stunning! A real landmark and a must have seen in the region. Go for the free audio guide! The tour takes around an hour but is really worth the time.

Definitely one of the most beautiful mosque in the world, it was built to perfection, and well thought of. The master builders must have been very proud of it. There was praying hall for men and women (separate), and all marble flooring and cladding. Really impressive.

A huge and luxury temple, some parts of it are made with gold. It has beautiful art and structure. A place you must visit in Abu Dhabi. Women are requested to wear black crape before going in, there is changing room at the front door.

Sheikh Zayed Mosque is the Grand Mosque of Abu Dhabi and is a gift by the founding father Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Alnihyan. Sheikh Sultan had vision to have Grand Mosque whereby people would come together and pray for unity. He wanted to leave a landmark to remembered for time to come.
A truly piece of architecture representative of international culture yet retaining its Arabic touch, the Grand Mosque is truly a place to visit.
The authorities had made proper arrangements for all types/culture/religion to visit the mosque.

World's biggest mosque it is as it name describing it. Words are few to explain beauty of this mosque. Made of pure white milky stone, structure is peice of architecture, flooring is so beautiful, and from inside it is beautiful than you expected it to be, it is world's biggest mosque and it's having world's biggest carpet and world's biggest chandelier, Amazing beauty a must go place

An impressive place. It's top notch in architecture and designed to provide for a staggering number of people without dimming the experience for any individual, certainly opulent in its delivery. It's very well looked after and caters for all. I'd suggest a tour if your looking for the history (free). Additional attire is provided for those who may not be properly prepared. Big bus has a stop here if you're looking at transport options. Also this is a holy place, so please remember to follow the local customs. Certainly a top spot to visit.

2nd time in Dubai & this time we drove out to Abu Dhabi (roughly 90 min drive) was definitely a MUST SEE ..Beautiful inside the mosque..you have to go through security to get in though so, no lighters or sharp objects..if they remove items from your bag or person, you can go to "Claims" desk as you leave to retrieve your items ..

Having visited quite a few iconic attractions around the world, I must say the Sheikh Zayed mosque is one of the finest work in the modern era in terms of architecture and beauty. The entry is free to the mosque and there are frequent guided tours. Recent changes to build an underground mall underneath the mosque along with a visitor registration area has made entry more swift but a longer walk.

People with walking difficulties are offered transport using mobile carts. Well placed photo stops and queue control avoid congestion and a much nicer experience. Water fountains can be found at various stops. Must visit if in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. The food court at the mall is a good stop for a quick bite after visiting the mosque.

We arrived late in the evening, one hour before closing.

Therefore it's not crowded at all and the lighting made it unspeakably beautiful.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They answered our questions with patience and remind us the closing time so we may still take pictures before it's too late.

Elders and moms with babies were geting extra care from the staff. That made our visit even easier.

If you want to visit to mosque, like a tourist than go after Friday prayer, or any other day. Entrance through gate, visitor parking. You will see the mosque completely and will have designated places to take good pictures. Food points, washroom available. You can also say your prayers while visiting during tourist hours. A must place to visit if you are in AbuDhabi

Such a great experience! I have visited the Mosque twice now and the time is well spent! The architecture is amazing! Entrance is free and tours are offered for free. They have shirts and pants for men (no shorts allowed) and gowns for women. If you have tattoos they must be covered, so just wear proper attire and save the hassel. Families welcome and bring extra batteries for the cameras, you'll need them! A must see historic site in Abu Dhabi!

Everyone should visit to this fabulous piece of architecture. It's a tourist place more than a mosque.Better to visit during the afternoon, as you get to see the structure during natural light.

Travelers tip: the official website states the guided tour is at 10am 11am and 5pm. It is actually offered every hour on the hour except for the 5pm one is offered at 5:30pm due to praying schedule. Weekend hours may vary just call before you go. I strongly recommend the guided tour because it gives you the history of the mosque and you also get to enter the chandelier room (shoes off) where you can look at the 12 tons chandelier up close and personal. The carpet is stitched together by 9 pieces and holds the Guinness world record of the largest carpet in the world. And the design is absolutely stunning. If you don t plan on taking the guided tour they will just shuffle you through each photo op, don t get to see much.

The mosque is beautiful to visit, a great place to go to. In case you don t have anything to cover yourself with (as a woman), you can borrow clothing at the mosque. The guards inside the mosque will help you to get great pictures in terms of standing in the right places, feel free to ask them.

This is the most expensive mosque in the world, built at an estimated cost of US$55m. The structures are lavishly decorated with pure gold. It is a beautiful, with the structures well laid out and designed.
