The most beautiful Mosque. Well management and cooperation from the staff. A good place for visitor to enjoy the rich beauty of this place. Non Muslims can also visit inside the mosque . There are prayer halls and ablution& restrooms also available in the basement.
I think the grand mosque name not for this place, because in sides the Grand mosque too small space for the prayer area, maybe 10,% area for praying in the grand mosque 90% areas for the non Muslims visitors, so how can do that name is Grand mosque
The new entry system is completely underground and very efficient. The walk to the mosque is long, however there are golf carts to ply senior citizens and others who have trouble walking.
It is compulsory for women to wear an abaya and cover thier head in keeping with Islamic culture and traditons. You get abayas at the mosque so it should not be an issue.
The mosque is grand and beautiful and pristine white. It is a very calming and soothing experience. It looks even more splendid in the evening when the lights are on. The carvings on the pillars is beautiful. The carpet in the main prayer hall is the biggest hand knitted carpet in the world.
The mosque is amazingly managed and the cleanliness is commendable.
Amazing. Must see in Abu Dhabi. Keep in mind, that you should be properly dressed. Also, there is two underground parkings, where you can park your car in the shade.
The mosque is well worth a visit, which I did as part of a quick city tour during a 6 hour wait at the airport for another flight. After you pass through the security tent you are witness to an amazing piece of architecture. The stonework, glass work , carpets etc have to be seen to be believed. Photographs do not do the scale of this place justice. The cool marble floors offer relief on hot days. There is a golf cart service to the entrance from security, to avoid sweating too much in the heat and woman are supplied necessary clothing to visit this religious site.
Beautiful and impressive mosque, don't miss the free guided tour held couple of times per day where local cultural guide gives many explanations about the mosque construction and heritage. If you have time, after seeing the mosque go and visit the nearby Oasis of Dignity, which gives stunning view of the mosque.
This is the most beautiful Masjid in Abu Dhabi. There is a large parking area. If your visiting Abu Dhabi this is a place you definitely need to see. All nationalities are welcome. Women need to be fully covered including your head as a sign of respect. Women are provided with a black Abaya free of cost. Men should be properly dressed.
The best time to visit is between 4 - 7 pm. It s just so magical when the Mosque lights up.
Be sure to hear the call of prayer.
During Ramadan many people come here to break their fast with the food provided by the local government.
One of the most beautiful places in Abu Dhabi. Worth visiting. Specially at sunset. Or early in the morning. Definitley a hot spot for tourists and photographers.

Loved this place for its mind blowing architecture and also the attention to detail in each things. I wish the place of abulution would be a bit close to the prayer location and also they could make an easy screening process, instead of remving belt, shoes and wallet each time.
I didn't believe such a wonderful place was so accessible. Look out for the guided tours! There is a lot to learn from this wonderful masterpiece that combines wisdom from different centuries to create an unforgettable experience.
Such a beautiful mosque and our tour guide was outstanding. Personable, informative, and answered lots of questions on a range of things. The carpet, the chandeliers, the walls, all so beautiful.
Amazing art of architecture! Must visit place if you are in Abu Dhabi. Couple advices: Women wear long dresses and cover your head so you can enter without borrowing abayas. Also it is good to go afternoon and stay until sunset, listen to azan and watch beautiful lights in the mosque.
As the name says, it is GRAND...a must visit place for tourist in Abu Dhabi, the sculpture work inside the work is amazing and they have two of gigantic chandelier hanging inside..visit between 5-6 pm so you can see both day and evening lighting
Grand mosque is one of the main tourist spot in abu dhabi, everybody knows that this is the biggest mosque in this world. There are lot of space for prayer. Mosque floor is filled with beautifull margles and granites. Also inside some of the beat and only one kind of beautiful bulbs are included. Simply amazing.
One of the best mosques around the world with world longest carpet and biggest and beautiful chandelier. Highly recommended to visit when in Abu dhabi.
This mosque was beyond expectations. Being there was so surreal. The attention to detail to the grandeur of the spaces, it really truly makes for a memorable trip. LOVE it!

Unbelievable construction , design , decoration , you never feel crowd because of the well arrangement and organization, should be visited , available laundry abbaya is in the mosque store ...no worries
White, gold, blue- great, beautiful place. Is really hot in there (take glasses and hat). Girs need to cover almost all body- so take extra clothes with you.
Most touristic point from Abu Dhabu, entrance is free and ist a must go if you are in Abu Dhabi. The construction is huge and very beautiful, the white from the Mosque make a good contrast with the blue sky. Pay attention that there are some dressing codes, womans must be all covered and mens can not wear shorts or tank top, also tattoos must be covered. Furthermore, at Friday mornings and some other times they have some prayers, so it is not possible to access some parts of the Mosque. They also provide Audio Guide and some free guided tours in certain times.
Must visit this place when you are in UAE. Witness the biggest mosque and the its architects. More than that the peace you get in this place is relaxing.
It's one of the, if not the most, beautiful building I have ever seen. I had the chance to visit many wonders of the world and I was astonished by the beauty of this mosque.
Pristine and glamorous. There's been significant works to make the Grand Mosque more tourist friendly. New shops, underground parking and passage. Even in the heat of the summer, you can still get a pleasant stroll around this marvel.
You'll be blown away whatever your religious denomination. Plenty of guided tours to take from either Dubai or Abu Dhabi UAE. Women will have to dress accordingly as will men. No exposed arms, tattoos or hair for the women. Definitely a bucket list Kerr tick
Of all the amazing religious buildings that I ve seen (and that s a lot!), the only one to which I can compare this in scope and scale, is St. Peter s Cathedral in Rome, Italy. It s truly massive, with towers climbing to over 1,000 feet and the domes to 800 feet. The pristine, glistening white walls dazzle your eyes, the clear water fountains and pools surrounding it make for beautiful reflections, the decor is simple in nature but profoundly beautiful in it s simplicity. As a photographer, I could have spent HOURS shooting the mosque, both broad landscape-like shots and detail shots of the interior. Photographers: I do HIGHLY recommend a wide-angle lens! I had my Sony 16-35mm f/4 on a full-frame Sony a7Rii and was wishing that I d brought my Canon 11-24mm f/4 with adapter. Some of the interior required shooting multiple verticals and stitching them to get the full effect. If you can go when it s less crowded, you ll be happier. Also go at night, based on photos I ve seen from others, but I didn t get to do that. An absolute, no question-about-it, must-see place if you re in the UAE!

It s an absolute must to see sight if you are in the UAE. Go to Abu Dhabi for at least 2 days and go to the Grand Mosque just before sunset and stay there until it s dark. One of the best experience you can have in the UAE. Stunning, amazing, beautiful contemporary Arab architecture.
One of the finest piece of Islamic Architecture. Well maintained and beautifully managed masjid. I've been there only once but that was really once in a lifetime experience. Design is great. High quality marble is used in ablution area and all facilities are up to the mark. Even non-muslims are allowed to enter and witness the beauty of Islamic art and Culture
