We arrived in the early morning at Sheba Hospital after a long drive, it was hard to find parking in the place ... it was even frustrating !! But the medical staff made up for everything !! So the experience of getting there is terrible but the service is wonderful so I decided on 4 stars - I added a picture to show where I parked at 7:30 in the morning.

"Tel Hashomer" was extensively renovated, the place is very neat, clean, advanced and efficient.
From the moment of arrival everything works like a clock, initial tests, blood tests, urine, blood pressure and more until the meeting with the nurse and doctor.
The complex has a drink machine and a coffee shop.
The areas are spacious and there is a new furniture and nicely decorated.
In every corner there is disinfectant and clean toilets that you will not need, but if you have no choice, you will prefer to go to the Tel Hashomer emergency room.

We visited the Sheba medical center from Cyprus in order for my father to have a heart surgery. We were very satisfied with our overall experience. Firstly we would like to express our gratitude to the surgeon Dr David Mishaly who is a great doctor and above all a great human. We would also like to thank all the amazing nurses and the staff of the heart department, who were always there to offer their help and assistance with anything we needed. We would really like to thank every one separately for their precious help. Special thanks to our nurses Julia, Marwa and Maryann. Thank you every one for making these difficult days as painless as possible, we will always remember you with warmth in our heart.

All the patients have the chance to walk around the buildings where they can choose among different kinds of food and shop at many different shops. Moreover there are wonderful external yards and many many colourful creations.

I had a 3 night 4 day stay in Tel Hashomer. I am an American Citizen and the way I was treated and the bedside manners of the Drs and the nurses were horrible. I was getting infusion and the machine was beeping so loud ,it was disturbing the other roommates . Mind you we were overcrowded 3 too room. horrible conditions. The nurses didn't check my sugar for Diabetes I had 3 low episodes. as well as my older roommate who was there for a month couldn't move on her own was in pain wasn't able to reach the call button and had low episodes of Diabetes sugar.

Need better communication system.
MUST NOT ALLOW ANYONE AND THAT INCLUDES THE NURSES TO NOT SMOKE ON THE FLOOR IN THE GARDEN. DISGUSTING NASTY HABIT AND ADDICTION THEN THEY COME IN THE ROOM WHERE PATIENTS HAVE TROUBLE BREATHING.

I WAS SUPPOSE TO TRAVEL TO THE UNITED STATES BUT BECAUSE OF LACK OF COMMUNICATION . I HAD TO CANCEL MY FLIGHT. THEY TOLD ME I WAS MEDICALLY CLEARED TO FLY WHEN I CLEARLY WASNT READY TO FLY 12 HOUROS TO CANADA AND ANOTHER HOUR TO UNITED STATES. I ENDED UP GOING TO A PRIVATE DR AFTER BEING RELEASED THEN 3 MORE TEREM VISITS AND A VISIT TO ER AT SHARREY TZEDEK IN ERUSALEM.
I SHOULD HAVE GONE TO SHARREY TZEDEK IN JERUSAELM FROM DAY ONE NOT HAVE BOTHERED WITH TEL HASHER. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.
FYI THE FOOD IS LADEN WITH SALT. & OIL NOT HEALTHY FOR ANYONE WHO IS ILL.

We had a bad experience in the emergency room on Sunday night. Per our doctor's directive, we came to Sheba with my wife's very swollen knee to obtain an ultrasound. The first nurse told us that there are no ultrasounds after 4pm but we should get a blood test and an x-ray for the orthopedic doctor to see. Neither of those procedures are done to diagnose a possible life threatening blood clot. After the x-ray, I didn't know whether or not to get a new number to wait for the blood test. I attempted to ask the blood test technician in room #2 (a woman) and she was very nasty to me. She launched into a tirade that my question was interrupting her work and that I'm causing everybody to wait longer. I asked her if I had to get a new number. She screamed that she absolutely refuses to answer my question because it interrupts her work and causes everybody to wait. I told her that she's making everybody wait by screaming at me with her speech and that all I wanted to know was whether I had to get a new number for the waiting room. She launched into the tirade for a second time more loudly than the first and asked me if i was an American as if that made any difference. I told her that I'm an Israeli who moved here from America and she hollers about all Americans are pushy and feel entitled, etc. All I can say is that if I ran the hospital, I would fire her in a second. And if I couldn't fire her, I'd assign her to three weeks of cleaning bed pans. That blood taking technician in room #2 needs humility, compassion for sick patients who pay her salary. Believe, she pulled all th blood out of me. After that, the professionals were... professional, showing very little affect or care for the patient. They know their medicine but have zero empathy for the patient. The internist was nice but tired and just wanted to get us out of his office as soon as possible. Thumbs DOWN for Sheba emergency services.

As a government hospital I expect to receive service at least on a medium level ... This is not what actually happens, we did MRI and the staff was wonderful, but results are not available, answers about another type of photo did not reach us, we are waiting in line for a doctor at the endometriosis clinic, , There is no one to ask only secretaries who do not stand the pressure of the phones.

A basic hospital with everything needed for urgent medicine with health solutions of global values

A hospital is always a bad place by nature, but when you get a result that exceeds all expectations, this place becomes holy for you and good memories are associated with it. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who participated in saving my princess !!!

Hi quality of service. There is a gas-station on the territory of hospital, and the bus stations. The hospital is clean and the personal is very kind. One minus - no map in the building, only the sights, so it's not easy to navigate.

Imaging department near the sorting children. Booked 15 minutes ago. It turns out we just ... We waited long after the set hour. A nurse's and doctor's service was wonderful, a little disappointed in the staff's apathy. There are many games with a very nice team that help pass the time.
