The rooms are quite cosy. I love the hotel restaurant and bar. It's very conveniently located across from the Festival Theatre. I love the new Thai restaurant that's associated with the hotel as well. Staff is always very accommodating and kind to patrons. LOVE the Keurig in the room - very nice touch for those who want to enjoy a coffee in bed or tea before bed.
We had breakfast at Zee's. The food was great, the service was average. The potato muffin thing was unreal!

The rooms are nicely appointed, clean, and quiet. Their restaurant, Zee's, serves an excellent breakfast (try the Canadian-style eggs Benedict), lunch (try the turkey sandwich) and dinner (try the Caesar salad and beef tenderloin). Another plus is that the hotel is located within easy walking distance of all the theaters associated with the Shaw festival. We've been coming here since they opened nearly 20 years ago and love it.
Nice place, at the quiet end of the fun. Shower was great, bed was nice, staff was awesome, ample parking out back, and walking distance to everything.

We've stayed at this hotel 3 times on winter weekend getaways. The rooms are always clean and well tended. The hotel offers a DVD library, complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby, and apparently you can even borrow a beta fish while you're there! We've enjoyed the hot tub rooms, and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast in Zees is always good too.
What a beautiful little place we found in NOTL. The staff are friendly and professional, and greeted us with a glass of sparkling wine. The room was modern and well appointed , ours had a fireplace and a beautiful shower with and overhead rain shower head. There was also bar fridge, and lots of storage space. Though we didn't eat there, there is a restaurant one site. We ordered a bottle of sparkling in the evening ( it was our anniversary) and it was delivered quickly and was very reasonably priced. Everything was within quick walking distance of the hotel. Great place, we have already booked two more weekends.
This is the cutest hotel!! Cozy little rooms , whirl pool jacuzzi and rain shower! The restaurant has really great food and service. And the best part, if you want a companion they will bring you a beta fish to keep you company during your stay!!! (I did not get one, but thought this was amazing) I would highly reccomend the Shaw Club.
Lunch at Zee's restaurant in hotel was lovely. We were a large group for a special.occasion and they were very accommodating. Perfect spot to have a great lunch and make it in time for cutain call next door at the Shaw Festival theatre.
We just spent our anniversary weekend there. Staff was amazing, the breakfast and dinners in our package were very good. Very clean hotel! Would defiantly stay there again.

My husband and I spent a weekend at this hotel with our 6 month old son. It was our first time away from home with our baby so I was a bit anxious. I'm happy to say we had an awesome experience at this beautiful boutique hotel. The hotel is in a great location on the main strip. The staff were super friendly and very attentive. We were given a huge room with a king bed as well as a playpen for our son to sleep in. The room was modern, nicely furnished, clean and well-maintained.
The customer service was amazing. For example, our room was on the second floor and there was no elevator. So when we checked in, one of the female staff members helped us carry our bags up the stairs to our room. My husband accidentally dropped and broke a bottle of wine that he had brought with us on the way up to our room, and the hotel replaced it free of charge. When we entered the room, the staff member immediately noticed one of the light switches in the bathroom didn't work and within minutes a maintenance person arrived to fix it.
The Zee Restaurant at the hotel was awesome. We had breakfast there every morning and a few other meals throughout the weekend. The food was delicious. It was also convenient that the restaurant was big enough to accommodate a stroller (which can pose a problem at a lot of the other restaurants on the main strip).
Finally, the hotel has a really cozy business lounge off the main lobby. There was a huge couch, lounge chairs, books as well as a coffee / refreshments station. The lounge was empty most of the time, so I was able to nurse my son throughout the day in private. It was probably not what the hotel intended the room to be used for, but it worked out well for me. :)
I would definitely stay here again.
Booking was a breeze. We purchased the hotel and dinner package via travelzoo. Dinner was at Zee's.The food was delicious. Unfortunately I found the room very cold even after adjusting the thermostat and the jetted tub wasn't really powerful...just very noisy. The room was quite small. Clean and modern bathroom. Parking onsite with easy access. Overall the experience was good and good value.

Enjoyed a dinner that night. Fabulicious was going on at some of the restaurants in Niagara on the Lake. $39 for 3 course dinner. Set menu but many choices. This happens once or twice a year at 4 diamond and 5 diamond restaurants where you can afford to try some of their specialties
I'm glad for the service, however, they remodeled and now its smaller with less "fun" product. A lot of focus on alcohol and chocolate? :(
Great hotel, staff were very friendly and helped with planning. Rooms were lovely and very comfortable, they had tea and coffee making facilities along with a gorgeous chocolate brownie. Lovely terrace for sitting out with a glass of wine in the sun.

Didn't give us a reservation over the phone and said come it's ok. We were 2 and went there and half of the restaurant was empty. They said they dont have place without asking if we came for drinks only or for food as well. Bad attitude at the reception. Not recommended.

Staff were very friendly. Location is great. But, the room was not great. Up a long steep set of stairs, very dated (warn) looking. There was probably 2 years of filth around the controls to our gas fireplace.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on weekend in December. Our room had a whirlpool tub which I decided to use, as I run the water to become hot I noticed there was no hot water it was just lukewarm. Thought ok since I filled the tub I may as well use it the way it is and don't waste water. Couldn't stay more than 5 minutes as I got very cold, then went to take a shower and noticed again water wasn't hot. My husband went to inform the reception and see what's going on. She said she does't know, what they can do is to upgrade our room next time we stay there without extra charge. How is this a problem solving? No hot water in the middle of freezing cold weather?!! And you simply didn't acknowledge and try to solve the problem at that moment. We won't be staying there again and don't need your room upgrade offer!!!
It was alright. Rooms looks great at a glance and comfortable bed but there is definitely sign of wear and tear. Shower is getting moldy and walls are showing signs of ageing. If you're not picky, it's fine. Curtains could be better, they let in sunlight so if you like to sleep in, won't work out.
Shae Club hotel located minutes to the town center, but not too busy. Good restaurants around the hotel. The room is clean and comfortable. Staffs are super friendly. In house restaurant is super awesome. One thing is not perfect is the room is slightly too humid.

Always a consistently excellent room/service. The Annex rooms are cool...you get a fireplace in some of them.
General level of service and hospitality is top notch, and Zee's continues to perform. Sadly, Niagara's Finest monopoly on NOTL is readily apparent. Peeling wallpaper, carpet stains, shoddy updates do not reflect the price point. It is plainly evident they see no reason to invest money as they are practically the only game in town.

Grossly overpriced and substandard. About on par with a decent Holiday Inn on I-75 but 3 + times the price. Checked in early and got the worst room in the place. Desk clerk refused to change room due to hotel being "fully booked" even though the cleaning staff was clearly still cleaning many vacant rooms. The hotel, even in comparison with other hotels in N.O.T.L. (which are also overpriced) lacks in luxury, amenities and atmosphere despite being advertised as a luxury hotel and priced higher than the local competition.
Wonderful experience with amazingly rich and comfortable rooms. The breakfast included has a good choice of delicious items. Service is top notch.
Shaw Club Hotel was great. We had a king room with a fireplace for three nights. The hotel is located at one end of the shopping district which is just around the corner. It's an easy walk to the water and a beautiful drive to Niagara Falls. Everyone in the hotel was friendly and efficient, reception, restaurant and housekeeping. We had meal plans, one dinner and two breakfasts. All meals were delicious and large.
It was a wonderful long weekend in a beautiful town.
Great hotel and is pet friendly which was great for us. Excellent staff and has a shuttle which can drive you to dinner if required.
