My buddy has his boat here and seems like a good spot

Carl is the man. He was the Captain of our boat and I d totally go back just because of Carl.

Worst service!! The guys wouldn't answer questions and seemed arrogant and careless. Would never recommend anyone to go here. Avoid at all costs.

Gave us a boat with a seat that was moldy and totally disintegrated. Also gave us a ladder with a broke hook. We had to gerry-rig the ladder to the bought to get people out. Motor was slow. Their boats are beat up and old. Wouldn't recommend rental from them.

DO NOT RENT HERE! We rented a boat here this weekend. We drove to Devils Cove and tried to anchor, but there was no anchor on the boat. When we called the office, they asked us to drive back to the marina (which would have wasted an hour of our 5) to retrieve an anchor. We refused, so finally, an hour later, they brought an anchor to us. During that hour wait, the boat wouldn't go in reverse nor out of idle. We let the guy who dropped off the anchor know, and he said it was because we needed to let the motor cool down. We had only drove for about 30 minutes?! So, we tried to anchor only to find it was too short to reach the bottom of the lake. We finally found someone that would let us tie down with them for a couple of minutes so we could get out of the boat to enjoy the water. When we tried starting the boat again, it wouldn't start at all. So we had to tie on to someone and wait for them to return with another boat to tow us back. Concluding our trip.

I rented a 12 person deck boat from Paradise Cove and it was absolutely the worst boat rental to date. I am a former owner of 2 boats and over the last 3 years have rented a pontoon boat on lake LBJ to take clients out and have a good time.The pontoon boats were roomy but didn't have quite the power to tube behind the boat. Although, i was able to really tube with the little 50 hp motor on these pontoons. With that being said, i called Paradise Cove and reserved a 12 person deck boat. I asked them if a deck boat would carry 12 people and tube some people with ease? They said with no problem! The deck boat has a v8 motor! At that time, i agreed that surely a boat with a v8 motor can handle anything a pontoon boat can but better? So i "upgraded" to the deck boat. When i arrived, the boat looked like it was 10 years old with completely torn seats, broken hatch on a cover for storage and was filthy from last renters mess. That was just the appearance! I asked the staff if i could go ahead and move to their last pontoon boat boat because the deck boat was way too small and looked like a piece of crap. They said that all boats were rented out. As i got out of the no wake zone i proceeded to accelerate, i knew there was a problem. Again, being a former boat owner, i knew what to expect from a boat. The boat was struggling to "plain out". I told everyone to move forward, that didn't help. I messed with trim up and down, that didn't work! As i got a mile or 2 up river i figured it may be because of choppy water and it would perform better on smoother water? That never happened. The boat never once got above 6mph. Thats if the speedo was working? So for 8 hours i putted along on my little dingy of a boat with the powerful V8 motor with the nose up at all times, because it would never " plain out"! When we got back to the slip, i went to the office to complain and the Manager said you should've come back when you noticed the problem? I said for what?? All your boats were already rented out! And your going to try to fix a piece of crap boat on my time? As a business owner myself, this Manager was rude and unwilling to compensate me for my troubles. I don't operate my business that way at all! They need to spend the $1035 they suckered from me and buy some new inventory. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone!

This place was great! Awesome time on the lake, nice boat and great service. We will be back! I highly recommend!

Great marina .plenty of water to cool off in the heat

Rented a ski boat for 3 adults and 4 kids. It was a Sea Ray! It was well maintained and ran well.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE, YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU DO. Lazy, stupid and rude staff. Their rental boats are the worst, poorly maintained and brake down on you. They could care less about you or your time. They deal with problems and issues to suite themselves and not about the customer's satisfaction. Head my warning or you will be writing a negative review like me if you do not and waste your time and effort and ruin what could be a nice day. STAY AWAY !

We rented the 10 person deck boat which is a VERY old Crownline; fortunately, the seats had recently been re-covered. Unfortunately, that's about all that was new. Upon arrival the staff was quite friendly and helpful offering skiis, tube, & wake board. The boat wouldn't start due to a bad battery which they remedied in about 30 minutes, there was also trash left in compartments on the boat with bugs that they removed and cleaned when we pointed out. The boat would barely pull the tube because it kept missing out...we called the main number and were told to pump the throttle (I suppose this would work if it was an old school carburetor). Regardless, it's a beautiful lake and we were with great company. With that said, if you want to do something more than cruise around on the lake I would make sure you get a NEWER boat and not this one!

This place is a dump on the water! The onsite management is great however limited to the resources provided to them by the lackluster bottom feeder owners! Recently they did add in a few upgrades which is the reason for giving them one star instead of no stars. Upgrade #1 modern architectural design of stacked 2 x2 pavers which is great for urban hop scotch on the water. Upgrade #2 brought to you by Sun Setter shades on dock were the tin roof covers your boat and latterly wraps around the boat providing extra protection for those on dock I . Upgrade #3 railing access that touches your boat for easy access on and off! Upgrade #4 easy access to your neighbors boat with 3 clearance between docks. Upgrade #5 submarine lift access. Upgrade #6 full voicemail box for service requests. Upgrade #7 no need for a gym pass as you will have to walk a mile to your boat and or possibly have to swim to it depending if the main ramp works. Upgrade #8 free shock therapy with live wires in the water. Upgrade #9 free investment planing provided by the owners. Upgrade #10 free boat disposal if you want your boat to be sunk. Upgrade #11 modern touching roof experience between docks. Upgrade #12 soft touch wooden access bridges between docks made out of recycled tooth picks. Paradise cove marina is an experience you cannot achieve anywhere else! Hahahaha this place sucks!

For storing your own boat: Not a live-in marina, but there are toilets and a shower at the front (you need a code for the shower). Marina is gated, and it is generally safe during day or night. The biggest issue is when the lake gets flooded; they don't have an adequate foot dock set up from the parking lot, so you will end up either swimming to your boat, or walking through some water to get to the start of the foot docks.

Great experience! Steve was very helpful with EVERYTHING! Definitely recommend.

It looks cool from a far to ride a boat there yeah its decent enough but to swim yeah um definitely not there's rocks everywhere in the lake out of the lake I sliced my leg open with a rock and I still have that same cut the water is very dirty there's a bunch of dirty stuff on the rocks so yeah there starts

Seriously, why are there 6 or 7 names for the same location and office. Horrible place. Dirty docks and equipment with disgusting staff. Check out their Yelp reviews, then go somewhere else that won't put you, your friends, or your family in danger.

Beautiful lake in our back yard , Ellie Joy is a queen of this field with lake as her back yard , we thank God everyday for this beautiful walk

Hate to say this about a business but.... Do not go here! This seems to be a den of drunks, drug users and dealers... The management dumps raw sewage from the boats directly into the lake, and there are exposed electrical wires under water... Try Hurst Harbor or Lake Travis Marina.

Had a really good recent experience with this company. I was a little unsure about having a Captain that would be assigned to our pontoon, but Carl was professional and made our group feel welcome and comfortable. Our only regret was that we couldn't reserve for a longer time. I will continue to do more business with this marina and hope to have Carl captain for us in the future.

We enjoyed our time today with captain Jordan, she was so much fun! She greeted us upon our arrival, she was super informative and professional. Jordan had my family and I laughing and entertained the entire time. I would definitely rent a boat here again and hire Jordan every time, she is AWESOME! I highly recommend this place and her.

Had an absolute blast yesterday with Carl as our captain. Made sure we were all safe along with making sure we had a great time! Would recommend asking for Carl next time you rent a boat!

Horrible place. Beware do not waste your money. The people that work there are so unprofessional, and con artists that just want to rip you off. I'm so serious, I rented a jet ski for 2 hours it broke down on me after 30m of riding it on the lake. I ask for them to atleast refund me the time that I wasn't able to ride. They refused and said it's not there fault there jet ski broke down.... I literally witness complaint after complaint from customers with all there old broken down equipment leaving people stranded on the lake and they refuse to refund there money also. This place is a joke, I wish I would of went somewhere else, there boats are so old also and broken down. Beware!!!!

I was member at Paradise Cove Marina for 3 years. I have to say this is the best Marina on Lake Travis. I have been a member at others and was treated exceptionally better here. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They even towed me in one time for free when I broke down, this isn't something they normally do so get a SeaTow membership. I would highly recommend renting a slip from them.

Management on Marina Very Rude and discusting I ll never stay in this horrible place again.

The big problem of this marina is its really badly educated Management, very little tolerant, if you plan to spend a pleasant time with your family with your children or trader a dog or pet, you will have a very bad time, they are very unpleasant people.

Beautiful place to go to chill and run around with your pet.

Rented a Sea Ray that was well maintained & ran great!! It s a long walk from where you park to get to the Marina especially with a heavy cooler but was not a problem at all they brought up a golf cart & loaded up the cooler & took us down there. I see on other reviews people complaining about the long walk that s all marinas on Travis!! Just call when you get there & tell them you have a cooler or just want a ride & they will come on up. Usually they will see you & you don t have to call. They have nice boats that are bigger & cheaper than other boat rental companies around. Will be back & definitely recommend them.

This was seriously one of the best times of my life. It was a beautiful day and the boat was really nice and clean. When it comes to renting a boat I would pick luxury boat rentals every time.

I have visited this place on Friday with my colleagues. The lake is empty. Had fun with boat skiing and jet skiing. Had fun racing with others.

Use to be so much better, but would still recommend for boar rentals and fishing

awesome service GREAT DRIVER, not sure what the young man name was....but they were all really helpful...i rented my boyfriends boat back in july.... referred a friend in august & now im sending another...there boats are big, a lot of selections & the staff is just good people period.... hands down to this boat rental service... ill be renting again :):):):) i look down and see ALLL this negativity aout this place and 1 stars....smh idk why.... guess some ppl just have bad days.... *shruggs shoulders* well i been there 3 times and had wonderful service...THANKS AGAIN "PARADISE COVE/LUXURY BOAT RENTALS"

A swim team could have pulled us faster! Save yourself and go anywhere else. If it were half the price and accurately represented as old, beaten up, damaged, hazardous and speeds up to 12mph than I would not have been disappointed. This is one of those places that is not as nice with not as nice boats which is completely OK, if it were less expensive than the other places. We rented a '12 person' deck boat with 4 adults & 5 kids. There is no possible way this boat could pull up a skiier even with just one person on the boat. If the speedometer were working I could give you the exact speed but our guesstimate was 15mph tops. I called the office immediately when we pulled out to tell them the boat was ridiculously slow and was told they could replace the prop with one that has a different pitch as they all have different pitch but when he tested it (alone) last night it was all fine and theres 'no way to account for multiple people', etc. I guess a 12 person boat if often rented by 1 person?? Clearly this would take time but they couldnt extend the rental but credit us for the lost time or trade it for a smaller boat. We stuck with what we had just to get out on the lake, was a beautiful day. The boat had screws poking out that you could get pretty hurt on, the holes for the tables werent covered up and almost everyone stepped in them - one with a stubbed toe and another cut. They remove the radio from the boat so they offer you a 'speaker' but the battery life on it is roughly 2 hours so for a 4 hour rental you are doing a lot of singing or could also just hang out awkwardly close to another boat with music....but we couldn't do that because the only vessel we could keep up with was a paddle-board. Im pretty sure a couple of kayaks passed us. Only after I asked we were credited one hour but when I checked out there were no apologies whatsoever. Despite the shape of the boat, we had fun on the lake as always, Lake Travis is amazing!!

Went with a few friends on Sunday and had a absolute blast! I've been on many boats and even use to work on Lake Travis as a resort director and had many boat captains that I managed, but our captain Carl was by far the best I've ever experienced. He was fun, accommodating and helped show us an amazing time. We will definitely be back and will settle for nothing less than Carl lol..."That's our quarterback" - T.O. voice

I can't say enough good about the place, its my escape. Even when i dont take my boat out, I'm happy to be at the marina! It's my happy place.

This place is a total rip-off! If I could give them a negative score, I would. Some friends and I rented a boat from this place for Memorial Day weekend. My part of the expense was the anchoring fee, which was $650.00. I gave them my credit card number over the phone. Big mistake!!! When I received my credit card statement, they had charged me an additional $1000.00! They said I had authorized the charge and they had a contact stating so. I had NEVER signed a contract, and the one they faxed to me as proof had a forged signature. I called the manager, and he said I owed the money then hung up on me! My advice to anyone wanting to rent on Lake Travis is to go somewhere else, or pay this place in cash up front.

I would 12/10 recommend renting a boat from here! We had the absolute best time with our captain Jordan. The service was over the top and more than I could have asked for. We rented it for a bachelorette trip and would highly recommend. Jordan made the trip incredible. Thank you to the whole paradise cove team! Can t wait to come back and rent a boat again.

Operator were extremely unprofessional. Boat stopped working due to old and out of maintenance boats and they refused to accept responsibility. Attempted to extort us for payment due to problems with their own boat. Their insurance is a scam and this whole company needs to be audited by the BBB

Went out this year on a pontoon with some friends, and had a great time! I will be coming back for sure!
