The Chips at Shannon s Irish Pub In Glen Ellyn IL are the best I have eve for had. Quaint and Casual best describes the atmosphere and the Outdoor patio is Charming. Today we had Miss Bri as our attentive server extraordinaire. I fly 1000 miles just to eat here with my friends and family!
I've been coming here for years but won't be going back. Not only would they not honor their own gift card by saying they "changed their system", but they were also rude about it, even though I wasn't being aggressive. By Illinois law, gift cards never expire, and they had options other than treating me so poorly.
Great!!! Cozy and Warm Tavern with an Irish Flare. The Salmon Sandwich was Delicious - taste like homemade - Mmmm...Chowder Soup! You could make a meal out of the soup alone! Very Friendly and Attentive staff too. A+++

Decent menu. Any place that offers Smithwick's ale with "a nip" of Bushmills whiskey is a winner in my book.
Food is just ok (especially given it's kind of expensive), but the atmosphere of the bar is cozy and the back patio is nice.
Their specials are great. The traditional side of CHAMPS is very filling potatoes all on its own!
