As you know, dealing with elderly parents is a very difficult time in a adult child's life.
I was referred to Shalloway & Shalloway by a very respected former co-worker. My family was essentially in crisis. My 86 - now 87 year old mother had been in the hospital, transferred to a rehab facility and then the rehab facility, with 48 hours notice, was going to discharge her. The discharge date was on a holiday which made matters worse. We had no where to place here.
With Seans help, he helped us navigate everything. As someone who works in higher education which has many rules and regulations - I can honestly say without Seans assistance - not only would we have been lost, we would have made mistakes which I am sure it would have cost us significantly financially.
From an emotional side - He helped us get her placed. He handled everything when it came to applying for medicaid, provided us with references in our search for a long term placement for our mother. He was constantly reassuring us that we were doing the right things to ensure my mothers care.
He was extremely patient with me (and my family) many questions. Often times, and always patiently, he would explain items multiple times because there were different variables to each situation we encountered.
Sean has always responded very quickly to all email inquiries and writes in a manner that explains difficult situations with confidence to ease our concerns of which we have had MANY.
I can not say enough about how thankful I am to have been referred to Shalloway & Shalloway and having had Sean assigned to assist with my mothers case.
In fact, it has been due to his responsive nature that I have shared your firms name and address multiple times over these past months and will continue to do so in the future.
