Very clean and 7 minutes walk to nearest underground station. Though the rooms are very small in size. And the housekeeping staff are noisy in the morning while they are cleaning nearby rooms.

Really nice staff, great hotel and amazing localization.
Quality and taste of South Asian Food at Park Grand London Paddington is very nice and hygienic.
Excellent service Correct rooms but could be bigger. Very pretty.
Small room, bathroom can storage, cleanliness no more, much too expensive for comfort .....
Excellent corner coffee
Great staff... very helpful. I like that they have a cell phone in the room for you to use so you dont have to use your own. It had info on sites, the hotel, and acess to the internet qnd Google maps....no charge. My room was what i expected and i liked it but thought that a shelf below the sink was very inconvenient when using your personal products or i eould five 5 stars but this may be because i had a single room. You want your products at arms length, and not have to bend all the way down to see what you need to get. Shower was very nice. Oh, the heated floors...was a nice touch even if I don't go barefoot in hotels. Shops and restaurants on maun street...at the corner. 2-3 markets, Hyde Park3 minutes away and everything elsevis a subwaycride away. 5 minute walk to Paddington Station which is nice if you want catch the Heathrow Express to Heathrow Airport in 15 munutes, or catch trains at Euston, St. Pancras, and King's Cross Station, and 4 minute walk to Lancaster Gate (Central Line). This is my London Hotel!
Rooms are tiny, but clean and breakfast was nice. Close to Paddington Station so handy for Heathrow Express.
Far too expensive for what you get. Rooms are tiny.
Clean hotel but small rooms even for one person only. I wouldn't go back
Indian Afternoon Tea was a lovey experience. Really great Service by Alisa, very attentive and informative. Food was delicious and hot, the masala chai was also perfect and re-filled on demand! Would highly recommend overall!
Friendly staff
Clean Rooms
Good value
Conveniently located
Had the Indian Afternoon Tea here. Excellent quality food and good service. Highly recommended.
There were mixed reviews about this place but I stayed in the main building on the first floor for a night while I enjoyed winter wonderland.
The room was adequate and breakfast was amazing.
I would definitely stay here again
Very nice, we preferred the one on Queens gardens, just our subjective opinion. Both have good facilities and nice rooms.
Lovely quiet hotel and not too expensive for London, room was nice but a little small
Good value afternoon tea. Variety of sandwiches, and a good selection of cakes. Came with a bottle of prosecco between two, which we drunk very slowly, and we weren't rushed at all. They provided a second pot of tea each at no extra cost too!
The music playing in the bar could be a tad abrasive at times, but otherwise a very pleasant afternoon tea!
Pre-booking for the tea is required.
We had lovely afternoon tea. Staff were very attentive and pleasant.
It is not unusual for a hotel in London, but some rooms have small bedrooms and only showers. Breakfast buffets include bespoke fried eggs and omelettes at no extra charge, and are available in bacon, sausage, potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms and baked beans. The staff is friendly.
The staff are really helpful and friendly. I was not a guest at the hotel but was meeting up with one of their guests. The hotel staff could not have been friendlier whilst I waited. They even charged my phone which had run out of battery.
A nice hotel in a central location but far enough away from the noise of bustling Paddington. The staff during our stay were excellent and happy to help with our requests for more tea in our room and storing our luggage.
Our room was clean and tidy and I found the bathroom and shower impressive. We had booked an executive room as my husband is 6'4 and the standard room looked very small. The executive room was not much bigger. We were unable to walk around the bed and only one side had a bedside table.
Unfortunately the entire stay was ruined by the fact that the bed was absolutely tiny. Even though it was advertised as a double, it's a damned small one. I had one of the worst nights sleep I've ever had as we were barely able to both fit in it. We were unable to both lie on our backs and I found myself waking up every half hour. I wanted to complain but we did not know how the hotel would improve things as the rooms appear to be identical throughout. It's a shame because the mattress was actually quite nice, it's just a shame it was too small for two.
Stayed there for a few days on a business trip to London and didn't leave impressed. Staff isnt trained properly - had to argue 10min for them to check that my reservation in fact had already been paid for by my company. Rooms are small, decoration is uninspired, everything is quite old and in some cases dirty. Typical business Traveller hotel in London, average and overpriced. At least it is well located.
Was transferred here from their sister hotel which had a mishap. The room is extremely tiny, shower non functional, toilet leaky and very few amenities (no iron, hair dryer etc.)
Good facilities and customer service. Close to two underground stations too.
Comfortable room, lovely bed, heated bathroom floor and heated bathroom mirror are nice touches!
Ended up at this place because the owners lied about the other hotel they own. The Shaftsbury Metropolis London Hyde Park. I will complain to booking dot Com. Rip off artist!!!
Honeymooners!
We had an amazing stay. With lovely helpful staff who are professional and the hotel was very clean.
The room was serviced everyday providing fresh towels and the bathroom cleaned. The tea and coffee was re stocked. We are amazed at the service and that's why the rooms stay clean and pefect.
WiFi was perfect, was fast and helpful to research where to go next.
The room comes with a phone to make calls in the UK and maps etc.
Breakfast was amazing. All you can eat with English breakfast, coffee, tea and Danish.
Thank you for the pleasent stay and the gift of wine and chocolates.
Defiantly recommend.
The location was great with other small stores around and cafes.
Access to the pay bikes was right outside which is great for a quick ride around.
We used uber services which was great getting to and from the hotel.
100% the best and recommend!
Thank you again!!!
William and Georgina
Rooms are neat and well maintained. Bathrooms are small, especially the shower, it is tiny. Awesome breakfast. Wonderful location.
My mum and sisters came a day after me and they lost the room but then kindly upgraded them into the other hotel of theirs around the corner. With no extra charge. Very nice of them and it went smoothly. Really nice people who work their who make you feel at home while keeping a high standard. My room was lovely and spacious. I would go again.
its good but dont take the ground rooms very small rooms first day I shocked from the small room then they change it....you have to walk to bus station for 7 or 10 mints...the underground and the train also need 10 mints to reach...10 mints walk to hyde park....very clean hotel ... I have seen the politeness from all stuff...
Nice hotel very close to Hyde Park and Marble Arch. Very clean rooms with air conditioning. Staff is very friendly.
The place is okay! My room wasn t ready at the said checkin time so they upgraded me to a club room which I m not sure I liked as it was on the basement level and facing a wall. Found that a little suffocating. The room wasn t changed for me despite me asking as they said they were completely booked! The rooms are clean.
Afternoon tea was mediocre and the selection was not great. Service was ok.
Worst experience: basement floor, lots of dust, refrigerator not working, hair dryer broken... would not recommend at all
Poor sorry to say. Never was told we were not in the main hotel but across the road. If it was raining we would be wet. Your comments.
Great amenities. Great staff. Rooms a bit small but of traveling to London, dont spend time staring at the walls; get out and enjoy the city.
Clean, modern, comfortable. Good wi-fi and connectivity. Room a bit small, but manageable. Check-out - which should have been easy - was a little bit laboured and took a long time due to the inexperience of the desk person. Overall, fine for an overnight business trip.
We just left the Park Grand Paddington Court this morning, and I didn't want to wait to leave my review any longer. We originally booked in for the Friday and Saturday night for our first wedding anniversary, but as we couldn't get into London until late on Friday and we wanted to properly celebrate, we booked an extra night at the Park Grand. I sent a message to the hotel to let them know, and asked if we could keep our room for convenience, and explained it was our anniversary. Park Grand was more than accommodating of our request, and upon arrival in our room we found a towel arrangement of swans on our bed, rose petals, a half bottle of red wine, and a fruit plate. It was such a kind gesture which meant a lot to us. Yesterday night however on our arrival back to our room after a full day out, we were overwhelmed to find that we had a bottle of fizz, and some chocolates too. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and staff were polite and friendly at all times. We really can't complain about anything, but we just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make our anniversary such a special occasion!
Pleasant stay excellent hotel located in a quiet residential area but well served by transport in a few minutes you find yourself in the center, Paola courteous and affable always ready for any suggestion, excellent breakfast and cleaning
Pleasant, clean, small/cramped rooms... Good service
Absolutely great hotel to stay if you going for family weekend in London. It's only 5 mins walk from Hyde park 10 mins bus from all the main attraction such as Zoo, museums and Oxford street etc.
Friendly staff, great rooms, and more than happy to accommodate such a late booking after being stuck in Heathrow airport!
We stayed for one night. Hotel was lovely enough for a short stay but anything longer I would have been a bit disappointed with the room size. I booked a junior suite for three people but the room we got was more like a standard double room with an extra bed squeezed in. It looked different to the pictures i saw on booking. The wine and fruit was a nice touch and service was good. But i knocked a couple of stars off because of the reasons above and the fact that the air conditioning kept blowing cold air out. Location was good with Paddington tube station a short walk away, shops, restaurants and Hyde park just around the corner.
I stayed in the hotel October 2016. The room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, they allowed me to keep my luggage after checkout for the rest of the day. The area around the hotel is quiet. There are few grocery shops, gift shops and restaurants close to the hotel. Paddington train and underground stations are less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. On the negative side I only have two minor points: (1) The room was a little bit small, but was okey for a solo traveler. (2) The fire alarm rang on both of the two days of my stay at around 8:00 a.m. and despite being a false alarm it was a bit disquieting.
Comfy and very good staff. Doesn't accept dollars or euros though. I'd recommended if you travelling and need a place to stay.
Nice place in a good neighborhood londyna hotel nice clean personal friendly mile ..c price per night higher, but it happened ..odporucam
Yes, a little unusual. Our room was only available the following day and we were placed outside.
The hotel staff is top class and consistently - from arrival to departure (reception, bar, breakfast and taxi ....)
A big compliment and thank you.
Great hotel in a great area! Rooms are small but cozy and staff are very polite and accommodating.
Room well furnished. Clean. But very small room. Staff friendly and hard-working.
Not the best but not the worst, have I done more research i would've stayed elsewhere, small rooms, noisy and poor customer service.
Close to Hyde Park, ideal location for The Winter Wonderland. Good breakfast and friendly/helpful staff.
Lovely place and a great location from the center and underground. The staff were great and welcoming, service was good. The room is cozy (single room) clean bathroom.
If you re looking for stay close to Oxford, Bayswater,Queensway and Edgware Road this is the right place with a great price.
However, I booked a twin room in my 2nd visit but instead the receptionist offered us two rooms instead of the twin room saying for your privacy !
Anyhow, one room was without a fridge and the other one with a fridge but not working.
The housekeeping everyday around 8-9 the speak loudly outside of my room which kinda woke me up everyday(annoying)
To be honest I wouldn t go back again.
Decent, reasonably priced London Hotel. Nice staff, good breakfasts. Room small but recently renovated so modern, clean and functional.
Appearance clam but the inner cage is relatively small but the management
We arrived a little early and not only did they give us a room they upgraded us to a club room.
We were on a ground floor with no double glazing but as its such a quiet street dont think this would ever be a problem.
Excellent location nr Paddington stations.
Rooms very modern and clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Easy to find from Paddington station and was roughly a 5 minute walk. The rooms were spacious enough although slightly on the smaller side. Good facilities big flat screen TV on the wall and hair dryer in the rooms. Overall a good hotel.
Great location. Friendly and attentive staff. Great breakfast with a personal service.
This hotel is NOT recommended. Our room was someone else forgiven because we came a little later. However, we had extra called, that we will arrive later & we were told it was not a problem. The hotel was fully booked & we stood there without a hotel. Helpfulness equal to 0, on the contrary they wanted to get rid of us quickly & were very rude.
But we were all the more warmly welcomed in the BLAKEMORE HYDE PARK. Very close & very recommendable!
When I arrived at the hotel in the late evening, they had given my reserved (and paid) room away. It took them MORE THAN ONE HOUR to find a different room/hotel for me. Why do hotels think they can get get away with overbooking on guaranteed stays? A guarantee only works if both sides honour the agreement.
Not even 1 star is deserved. I have patiently tried with this hotel on 3 separate trips to London. All 3 times I was jerked around. I'm not sure what kind of an operation is being run here. On my first stay, the hotel was overbooked and they had no room for us. We waited in the lobby for 2 hours until they were able to get us to another property for 1 night. (Mind you it was after midnight until we were able to get into a room.) They called a taxi company that never showed up, the poor front desk man had to pull cash out of his own pocket to pay for a cab. The next day we had to pack up and move back to the correct property. 2nd time, SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED! 3rd time, this past Saturday 1.26.19 there was a room for us upon arrival. However, it was NOT the room advertised or pictured. It was FILTHY, smelled of mildew, had mold on the walls, some kind of liquid stains on the walls and the door didn't open all the way because there was a nightstand with a coffee pot on it (the kitchenette). Oh and I can not forget the bathroom, the shower head was in the middle of the bathroom with a drain in the middle of the floor. We turned on the water to see how it was supposed to work. The sink, toilet & floor were soaking wet. We had to use towels to dry and mop the floors in order for anyone else to go in after. We immediately went to the front desk and told them this room was unacceptable. He said he would look into it as we went to eat dinner. We arrived back and was told that there was nothing else available and that we would have to spend the night in that room. We said no, asked for a refund and booked a new hotel. He gentleman behind the front desk said that we would get a full refund, of course that was a lie. Horrendous customer service, filthy rooms and not as pictured. There would be no problems here if they refunded us since there was nowhere else for us to go.
They are not responding to emails, their booking website is bankrupt and the booking has been cancelled without any message from them. Do NEVER book this hotel.
Really classy and well-kept hotel. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Quality service. Modern, comfortable and welcoming rooms. In the city center but in a quiet area. In a few minutes you are in the center. Very well served by the media.
Lovely staff deliver great service in a quirky rabbit warren of converted Victorian houses.
The room is too small. I can not spread my luggage because I am full in bed. As it is room of stairs landing, even if we use elevator, we must finally go up and down stairs. I will not use it anymore.
It's complicated. I have been happier with a smaller room so it isn't the small room that was a problem for me. The breakfast option was good. Sometimes the
I had a great time there, room was clean wit all amenities necessary, stuff was super polite, price was reasonable for the neighborhood, which is just great, a jewel in the heart of london!
Conveniently close to metro stations.
Cosy hotel with great access to the parks and sights
Fantastic location, only 10 mins walk from Paddington station and 15 mins walk to Shopping st ( Oxford st) and 5 mins walk to Kensington Garden. Nice, quite, upmarket area. Clean, Fresh and well equipped room. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful.
Highly recommended .
Excellent loved this hotel, the attention and the place
I LOVED THIS PLACE. Excellent service and staffing!
Comfortable rooms in a recently renovated hotel. Staff was very friendly. Convenient connections to the west end and further via nearby metro station.
