As a wholesale Distributor This company is great. They ship timely and the quality is superior for the higher grades. I really think unless you buy from this company as a customer in the supply chain, you shouldn't post unworthy reviews. It really does not hurt Seymour Midwest , but rather makes you look petty. By the way Seymour Midwest, thanks for helping my company grow with your great tools and service!

I don't know what this is, but the guy in the captain america shirt is an american midwest hero.

There products are not directly available thru retail store,have to wait your order to be shipped to the store you ordered from.Takes forever to receive your order.

Very poor managment "No" decapline everyone calls off all the time so work gets backed up new manager Nathan in plant 3 is quite the 2 face

I worked at Seymour Midwest for a year or so. During that time many changes took place however none of those changes actually changed anything. Management is out of touch with the needs and workload of the associates. The type of work isn't completely horrible but is made worse by ineffective leadership. They have had some amazingly talented and truly wonderful people in their employ but again mismanagement chases them away. The executive leadership team has poured so much money in to the company yet none of that trickles down to the hourly employees. There is no pay increase schedule and the base pay is laughable. They have no desire to recognize and develop talent nor retain it. Whatever job you take coming in, is all they assume you're capable of or qualified for. Honestly with so many other places to work in the area, and so many other places to purchase yard tools, I would do both somewhere else. Purchasing Structron, Seymour, Midwest Rake, or Kenyon branded products is only supporting a company whos core culture is greed. Steer clear of this company. As a side note, most of the products are only assembled in the USA nearly all components and many complete items are manufactured in China. Buyer and potential employee beware.
