Went to The Spice Agent the week after Thanksgiving 2020 and loved this shop. The owner was very informative on different spices and even told us a chicken recipe that sounded great (by the way I need that recipe). I gave some of these spices to my sister as a Christmas gift and she loved them. Making another order tonight as the spices we picked up have been great in so many of my new dishes and getting extras for gift. So happy that I can place orders to get thse spices as we don't make it to MO very often. This Texas couple enjoyed the conversation, learned a lot and had a good time picking out spices and teas and trying the spicy honey.

Went in to get a new rub for my recipes. The single most rude, arrogant experience I have ever had as a customer. Please take a course in customer service. Would not recommend. Spices can be found in a much more pleasant environment elsawhere.

I was I impressed by the spices and the variety. I had a nice conversation with the owner and he was able to tell me about rubs and why the ones you buy at the stores are not only a rip off but are also pretty bad for you because of all the salt they have. My wife loved the store too and jokingly called him the cranky spice agent. I told her I think he is just passionate about spices . I cannot wait to smoke a pork but with the rub I got. I plan on ordering other rubs and spices from his website.

Branson is truly fortunate to have this gem! Small businesses are struggling, today. Without local support, we will all suffer when we lose the great personalized attention to detail and customer service that people like Chris (owner), are able to provide. I heard about The Spice Agent all the way in TX (word is getting around) and found their website easy to navigate and inviting to the reader. When contacted, the owner dropped everything to make my order his top priority. He made me feel as if I was the only customer that mattered, in a moment in which he was undoubtedly busy. Despite my considerable distance, my order was completed, boxed, and shipped with expedited shipping, on the very same day. The owner communicated with me throughout the delivery process and even included a personalized, hand written note of appreciation. Sadly, customer service, like this, died away, years ago. If all businesses operated, as The Spice Agent does, with a "customer above all else" attitude, we would all want to shop locally and support our communities. To see an American business you can trust.....one that remembers the America of old..... Go visit Chris at The Spice Agent!

We went in to find some premium peppercorns. We asked the owner a question and both my wife and I noticed how annoyed he seemed. If you are a specialty shop that sells top end merchandise then customer service and education about your product should be a main focus. We purchased a little $5 item just to keep from walking out without anything. He even complained about his customers using credit cards. He should not complain to his customers, either take credit cards or don't. All I can say is rude and arrogant. I will say that we did find a different shop that was great and the customer service made you want to buy more, so we were happy to give the other shop our business.

We love this place my wife and I go in whenever were in Branson for the fresh rubs to take back home to St. Louis love how everything is packaged and the smell when I walk in , the owner is very knowledgeable and can customize any blend for you we love grandpa Rich s rib rub

The review by Mr. Puller made me mad since I have never had anything but an excellent experience in this store. If this were my business and someone like you wrote a review that has nothing to do with this store or its product, I would obtain an attorney and sue you for slander. Your real name is Ron Hobson which I found by the address listed in your review. All your reviews call business people either Arabs or Semites so that certainly speaks for the kind of person you are. That s the problem with the internet people like you are out there.

Love the BBQ rubs. Ironically I pay them to ship the STL pork steak seasoning to my house in STL, it's the best

I've been coming to this place for years and they have the highest quality and largest selection of herbs and spices I have yet to find. They also have a great selection of chai tea blends.

Great experience. Spent a lot of time explaining different and new spices. Did not try to upsell but did suggest new spices I was interested in. Will definitely return. Very knowledgeable.

The spice offerings and handcrafted blends are exceptional! My favorite so far has been the Tuscan Red Herb blend. Try it on eggs- you won t eat plain old anything again!

The smell of the store is enough to make you excited to go home and cook! Not only is the store very inviting based on smell but the organization of seasonings makes shopping here so easy! The owner blends and creates his own seasonings and can guide you to pick what you will most likely love. We love the ranch and the burgers and fries the absolute most BUT there is a pretty delicious KC BBQ Rub that is phenomenal! The seasonings can be used on meats, veggies, potatoes, in dips.... EVEN POPCORN! The honey is also delicious and the teas! We love the Meadowfoam Blossom Honey for its caramel vanilla flavor. My husband loves the Pu erh Tea. You should definitely check him out when in town or order online!

Every time I come to Branson I make sure to pick up a jar or two of his spices. He as the best cumin I have ever bought and his home ground blends are fantastic!!

Been there once, ordered on-line on June 30, shipped July 4, received my order on July 9th with a hand written apology on the invoice for the delay? I should get everything I order on line this quickly. Only wish I lived closer to Branson!!

We went back again to stock up today and as usual we found more than we needed and had great conversation with Chris. He is always very helpful and attentive to my wife and I. The Trinidad Scorpion salt is awesome! We got some angry burger seasoning, smoked paprika, pig sweat, chili seasoning packs, ginger and some green peppercorns which i can't find anywhere else. A great place for fresh spices. We always visit when we are in Branson. Chris is very helpful and knowledgeable. We are a repeat customer and don't see that changing! We'll see you again soon.

Sparce product, but owner was trying to restock spice with Coronavirus shut downs. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely revisit while in Branson.

Love the Spice Agent ! you not only get the best in hand mixed spices you get great recipe ideas. I visit Chris the owner every time I'm in Branson and order online when I run out and not in the area. The man works a ton of hours and may not be the most upbeat person but he is passionate about his craft and is happy to discuss recipes and his new blends.

Two weeks ago my family & I made the trip from KC with a list of specialty items to pick up in Branson. This shop is one on our list to visit. The shop closed @ 6:00 before we could get there Sat, it's closed on Sun. & we had to leave early Mon. So we stopped by @ 10:00 am Mon on our way out of town. Waited @ the front door about 15 min + called. It didn't open in that time. Other shoppers stopped by also & left. Its sad because we do like their spice blends.

I love the Spice Agent...we live in Branson and have many family members hooked on their spices. Went in the store today and as always a good visit...great guy that works there,as always very helpful.

The Spice Agent is a great place to get fresh spices as well as extremely tasty blends. Compared to places like Walmart you can be sure that you get fresh spices at The Spice Agent.

This place is fantastic. I order all of our spices here, I especially recommend the montreal steak blend.

I would not trust this owner Christopher Poulos. He even has his girlfriend Traci Louvier write good things about him pretending to be a customer. He does not grind spices but purchases them elsewhere like any other retail store. I knew him and he has a very hostile past. You will not find any criticism of him on her since he has them removed. I seen lots of them and now they are gone.

Super fresh product - makes all of the difference. I literally cleaned out all of the old spices that had been sitting in my cabinet for a year or more in their little plastic containers. I replaced them with these freshly ground spices and blends, and a good variety of dried herbs from The Spice Agent ... all nicely stored away in their glass jars. Love the jars - makes it so easy to spoon out the exact amount of spice needed.
