Received a new Juki HZL-F300 for my birthday from Sew Vac Direct and was thrilled. About week two there was a problem with the foot pedal so I called for help. I spoke with a real person, who knew what he was talking about and ultimately he decided to have a new pedal shipped to me. It arrived less than a week after my call and now my machine works beautifully. I am so impressed by not only the prices but more importantly, the excellent customer service that is so hard to come by these days. I will definitely recommend them to a friend and continue as a royal customer!

Sew Vac Direct carries the Horn line of sewing cabinets that we were interested in buying. After shopping around and getting quotes from local dealers, we ordered a model 5280 from this company. While it took a couple of weeks to get the item shipped, it arrived via FedEx in very well padded and protected boxes. Instead of having to transport a very heavy piece of furniture home from the local dealer and pay shipping costs, it was delivered "free" to my garage. In addition to the delivery convenience, I paid a far lower price than anywhere I looked and had the pleasant experience of dealing with helpful and friendly folks at Sew Vac. My wife was reluctant to buy an expensive piece of "furniture" on the internet but this is a new age with hard-working people like the Sew Vac staff who are dedicated to growing their online business by providing great prices and wonderful service.

My over 30 year old sewing machine locked up right in the middle of making cloth masks. Placed an order from here and requested fastest shipping and that I was willing to pay for it. They got right back to me and were very honest that shipping right now has no guarantee on delivery time and that I could pay a lot extra and still not receive it any sooner. But they did process and ship out my new machine that day (instead of the 2 to 3 business day processing time) with FEDEX showing that I should receive it Monday which is 3 days after ordering. Bless this company THANK YOU

Steer clear of this seller. If there's a problem with your order, they don't lift a finger to help, and they don't keep their promises, even when they put them in writing.
You'd think that if there was some sort of issue with delivering an online order that the retailer/shipper caused, they would do something to help, right? WRONG.
Without notifying me, they put a special direct signature requirement on my order that I didn't request, and when I couldn't receive the package because no one was available to sign for it at my home address, they refused to redirect the package to my office so I could sign for it. They repeatedly told me that when the package was eventually returned to them they would refund me for the initial order, and I could place a new order for the same items, but that they would NOT ship to an address other than the billing address on the card, and they would NOT remove the signature requirement either (I have it all in writing!).
When the package was returned to them, they first tried to deny my refund because it was a special order part (I told them that it was a special order part in our email exchanges, and they should have known as the seller that it was a special order part). When they finally refunded me, they deducted $20 from the refund for "standard shipping." Standard shipping doesn't include signature requirements, nor does it cost $20 for such a small package.
They need to be clear about their shipping policies, and when they create a shipping issue that prevents delivery, they should go above and beyond to resolve it.
Steer clear of ordering from this outfit online. As a customer, I expect a retailer to do what they say they will do, not find some way to weasel out of promises made in writing and then point to fine print as justification for their lack of effort.

Very quick! Within 45 minutes of my order I recieved an email saying order shipped with tracking info, that was Friday 5/22 and Memorial Day weekend. I recieved my order this morning Tuesday 5/26! Thank you!!

Ordered the Janome MB-4S 4999.99. Removed from my account immediately... Paid with Visa but they decided it looked fraudulent because I had it shipped to my daughter's home. I called to check on status the general manager said it was voided... But the money came out of my account and wasn't returned. Oh, so she said we didn't refund it... But now we will... Terrible service! Wanted me to pay with Amazon Pay or PayPal! I said, I'm not going to be pushed to do business with those companies! Easy to do business somewhere else for the same price! Just do you know before you purchase...

There is always a good handful of people in the store. They all know what they're talking about. They take the time to make sure I get exactly what I need (usually very inexpensive parts). This store is built around solid customer service and high quality equipment.

I bought my sewing machine from this company a few years ago, and last week it started having problems. I got in touch with the company to see if it was still under warranty. Hamish, their technician, called me the very next day to confirm that it was, and gave me instructions to send the machine in for repairs. Only a day after my machine arrived at their shop, Hamish called to let me know it had been fixed and that he was already shipping it back to me. A turn-around time of less than a week and I'm already back to sewing! My machine works like new. Thank you Hamish and the team at Sew Vac Direct!

To anyone buying a sewing machine: save the original packaging and spring for the extended warranty. You will thank yourself later!

I ordered an even feed foot on September 27th. I paid for 1-3 day shipping. Today is October 18, and it STILL hasn't arrived. I called last week Tuesday and was told that I would have it "by Friday." When it didn't arrive Friday, I called again and was told it was "on the way and will arrive next Tuesday. " Today is THURSDAY and it still isn't here. I actually received an email from them asking me to tell them whether my order arrived. I called and was given the same old story: they will check into it, but the vendor is responsible. I will NEVER order from this awful place again. They are unreliable.

Purchased a Riccar vacuum cleaner from College Station location. Arriving home, 40 miles away, discovered was given wrong replacement bags. After driving another 80 mile round trip to correct their mistake, I was charged another 3.00 for "difference in price", with no sincere apology for their mistake and my time & inconvenience. Suffice to say: that $3.00 cost them a future customer.

This place has EXCELLENT customer service. I live out of state and ordered a machine through Overstock.com, but it was supplied from Sew Vac Direct. When there was an issue w/ the machine, the store called me within minutes and tried to talk me through the fix. When it got over my head mechanically, they offered free shipping to get it back, quickly repaired and then expedited shipping back to me - with great communications along the way. Can't thank them enough! Especially Hamish! Wonderful service.
