Great place to stay or attend a function as I had - staff was excellent - setting us absolutely beautiful , the restaurant we ate at on premise was excellent as well , food was top notch. If the occasion presented itself I'd return in a heartbeat . 5 star in my book

I've been to many ski resorts from Vermont to north Carolina and they all have nice things about them. Seven Springs is by far the best. I learned to ski in the tiny tots program in 1984, and the same program is still there. So maybe I'm a little sentimental, but if you want the best skiing in the east in a family friendly atmosphere...7 is#1

I attended an engineering conference at Seven Springs Mountain Resort. It is a great facility with some awesome amenities that accompany the resort. The closest town for other restaurants appeared to be Donegal which is right off the Pennsylvania Turnpike (#76). Great restaurants if you are looking for seafood. I would love to go skiing here in the winter sometime. Beautiful countryside.

Went to brewfest up at 7 springs. Fairly good selection of craft beers.Lots of IPAs. Good live music. Nice atmosphere with plenty of places to sit. It was crowded but really no wait times to get samples. They put out chips and pretzels to snack on which was appreciated.

Great facility - several dining and nightlife options. Dated rooms in need of update. Alpine Room has rustic appeal and charm. Food was adequate. Staff throughout the resort was the main factor driving down the review.

This was my first time at Seven Springs. I was here working a conference. I went to check in (after a 12+ hour day) and just wanted to relax. So I check in and get my room keys. I get all the way up to the 7th floor and walk all the way down the hallway. I hear voices in my room and am a tad confused but think it's the room next door. I unlock the door and walk in and there is another family in that room already? The man called down to the front desk to confirm who should be where and I learn that they actually gave me the wrong room (my room was 10 rooms away). So I was already exhausted but had to go all the way back down to the check in desk and get issued new keys. Later that night, I come to realize that when they deactivated my keys to get me my right keys, the original room I'd walked into had their keys also deactivated! They had to go all the way down as well to get them reactivated! I expected a little more from Seven Springs as it always seems prestigious and amazing. The main building itself was fun and beautiful with lots to do, but the hotel mix up really made me sad.

I stayed there for a long weekend in late October. I proposed to my wife there at the nice resturant they had there. It was a pleasant experience for the most part. I did in the rush and chaos of things, left my wallet in the ice chest for safe keeping. I had a decent amount of cash in there and I thought it would be safe. Well, after an emotional weekend, I left for home and forget to check the ice bucket. I called the next day and the wallet was gone. It was very disappointing to hear that. My word against theirs....We all know who wins that dispute. It was a fun weekend as she said yes but unfortunately my housekeeper walked away a winner as well.

Seven Springs consistently delivers the best natural and man-made snow in the region. Not to mention a large variety of trails for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels. As someone who's experienced ski resorts over all parts of North America, I would recommend Seven Springs over all other resorts within a 300 mile radius.

We drove up from South Carolina to visit friends and ski. Considering we do not have ski slopes in South Carolina, we had a wonderful time while skiing. However, renting equipment for our 3 and 5 year old took longer than what was necessary. They were not busy while we were there. We had to ask several times for someone to assist us. Once on the slopes, we all had a wonderful time. Now on to what was not so great. We took our little ones swimming after skiing. The lifeguards were incredibly rude to swimmers. There is a way to be friendly and kind while enforcing water safety. I was a lifeguard and pool operator at a resort many years ago, so I know from experience. Once we finished swimming, we had hoped to grab to go food from one of the various restaurants. Unfortunately, all kitchens were closed at 10 when we finished our swim. Never have I experienced a full service resort that closes all their kitchens at 10pm on a Saturday night. The bars were open and packed, but no food to be found. For families with small children taking advantage of every minute on vacation this was very disappointing. There was not a refrigerators or microwave in our room, so bringing our own was not an option. At approximately $400 a night, it was very disappointing and overpriced. We ate lunch at Timbers. The food was cold and overpriced, as well. The entire hotel and our room was very dated and drab. Our heat would not turn off. I went to the front desk and they offered a fan or maintenance to come look at it. This was at 1:30am when it became so unbearable that we opened the door to outside for a reprieve. We had to leave the exterior door and our room door open to bring the room to a bearable temperature. Which is quite scary, but our only option other than packing our car and heading back to SC at 3:00am. It was the worst night I have ever spent in a hotel. After finally going to sleep for a few hours, we were up and ready to leave. Went to the lobby to get a cart. There were none to be found. Was told everyone is checking out at the same time. I asked how to get a cart and was told to sit and wait in the lobby or go floor by floor and look for one in the halls. After explaining our night and almost crying from stress and exhaustion, the nice woman at the front desk found a cart for me. There is no way I would ever stay at this resort again. We would come ski again and skip the accommodations, they are horrendous. We valet our car. Which was a blessing. There were numerous cars broken in to located in the lower self park lot. Their windows were smashed and items stolen. When I came down to the lobby at 1:30-1:45am, the woman working the front desk was outside smoking. My understanding was that 15+ cars were broken in to last night. We saw the aftermath this morning from a distance. It seems like someone would have noticed that especially with alarms going off. Imagine if that would have been our car. We are 9 hours from home with a 3 and 5 year old. It would have made a terrible situation even worse. I feel for all the victims of last nights free for all in your parking lot. My husband and I are well traveled. We can over look a lot. However, this was bad enough to leave a negative review. No need for anyone to contact us. We ve already attempted speaking with the front desk about our concerns. Clearly they were not interested. I hope this helps identify problem areas and possibly retrain staff where needed.

Not what it used to be. New owners trying to make it an upscale place. It's not and never will be. Seven Springs is in Southwest Pennsylvania not Summit County, Colorado. Get back to your roots.

I enjoy myself here each and every time I go. Wish there were options for dining later in the evenings though, on my most recent visit my family and I had traveled to get here and wasn't able to get dinner so we had to go grocery shopping instead. Not a huge problem but we would've really liked to be able to enjoy dinner at the resort.

Was really upset about what I saw today. An employee had parked in the Trillium Spa parking and got screamed at by apparently the head manager ACROSS THE PARKING LOT because she wasn t a customer. Right as that was happening, 4 guys got into a truck that clearly weren t customers parked in the Trillium spots. Why was nothing said to them? She had stated calmly that she needed to drop something off and that there was no parking, but that she would move. He proceeded to make a scene instead of speaking to her like a human being. I watched her walk in, totally defeated. Is there no employee parking for them at this resort? I also noticed the manager of Mountain Perk spoke so rudely to the employees working behind the counter, like they weren t people..while he proceeded to walk around talking to customers, complaining about his day and how tired he is of working so much. Are you going to help the long line they had at your establishment? Is this how all the employees are treated here? It was so unprofessional and disheartening. I imagine there are a lot of people behind the scenes here. Without them, this place would be nothing. So far here, the service at Slopeside is a joke, the management seems awful, and also seeing that employees aren t treated with any respect really raises and eyebrow for me. The rooms are so outdated and the carpets are terrible, they need to be replaced. It s like taking a step back into the 70s, and not in a good way. Everything is dirty. I have come here before with my parents and this place has gone so downhill. The slopes were a joke, the food is a joke, besides the sandwiches I had at Mountain Perk, EVERYTHING looks so cheap, and all of the shops are so concerned about closing early. How do you expect to make any money? Working in the customer service industry, my heart goes out to those employees. Seeing that makes me never want to come here again and waste our money. It is very evident that the owners are money hungry and aren t putting anything back into this place. Just what the world needs more of. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Please don t come here and spend your money. I know for a fact that it isn t going to the right places.

Do not come to the food truck event.... The lines are ridiculous (1-2 hour wait) they ran out of most items by 630. They charge $25 dollars just to walk in, a complete rip off. Very disappointed....

Problem was resolved, thank you!

I love this place, been going there for years! I go for the snow tubing and ski lodge night-club. Staff can be a bit rude, but if you ever see how many people they have to tend to, I can see why. But still, a few bad attitudes should not deter you from having fun! They always have cool events going on. I know they have a bowling alley as well. It is a large resort, so they have free shuttles that can take you to any of the attraction's drop off points.

Although snow conditions were pretty bad, the folks at Seven Springs did a good job making the most of it. They could do better if they would adjust and promote discounts on days with limited skiing. I'm sure there's software available to help with that.

Went to a beer testing event here and stayed one night on two different occasions. Rooms were nice but there was no HVAC control in the room. Ended up with balcony door open to let cool air in. Event ("Brewski Festival" was a fun time with many beers to try and an extensive buffet included.

Wonderful course, great people, reasonable price a very nice look at the mountains. The staff was overly polite and let us out without paying to not miss our tee times but we of course paid later. The GM, Mr. Runco does a wonderful job of staffing the bar and restaurant. WILL COME BACK!

My wife and i checked in Friday, after yelling at what i assume was an I.T. employee about the equipment she has to use, the woman at the front desk was very rude and dismissive to us. When we were give a room on the 4th floor, which is the pathway to most of the resort, we asked if the room was in a heavy foot traffic area, and she replied very bluntly "I dont know" Really? Glad the front desk doesnt know the layout of your resort. Second issue, that night we went to Timbers restaurant for dinner, as the host tried to get us a table, 2 servers both yelled at him, that they cant handle anymore tables and we were shown to 3 different tables before we could sit. Third issue, I had bought a visa debit card loaded with $200, (which clearly states accepted anywhere visa debit cards are used), so i wouldnt have to carry cash, before arriving at resort. I used it to pay for 2 visits to the bloody mary kiosk, but when i tried to use it at the foggy google the server, named Taylor told me they do not accept these cards. I told her i used it twice already, and without even trying to use it she said it wouldnt work. A few hours later, we went to the 7/10 Bistro for a snack, our original waitress brought the check and collected it for payment,(using the visa gift card) but low and behold who happens to be there also? Taylor, who once again without using the card says that she already told me once the card won't work and she needs another form of payment. I produced the 2 receipts i had used the card for prior and was told those people are new and dont know what they're doing. Zack at the front desk was very helpful in addressing the issue when brought to his attention. He got the manager on duty to come talk with us who told us, yeah we've had issues with these cards before and that was pretty much what we got out of that meeting. Those issues aside, the only way to charge things to your room is to carry around a piece of paper they give you at check in, instead of just using your room key. The all day wrist bands (during autumnfest at least) hardly cover any worthwhile activities and prices for food and drinks are high. We've been here plenty of times, sometimes stay at resort, sometimes rent a condo on property from private owners, from now on we will try a lot harder to find a condo.

UPDATE: 10/18/19. Robert from 7 Springs called and addressed our concerns and issues with our stay. He took the appropriate measures to make things right and assured us that the issues would be addressed on their end as well. Thanks Robert!

Plenty of activities. Reasonable accommodation at reasonable cost. Good getaway for weekend. We held our family reunion here. One drawback was that they did not allow outside caterers in the conference center, and we wanted to do international cuisines for our reunion meals, but were unable to do so.

7 Springs is a great ski getaway! I typically lean towards renting a place when I travel but for the price of their packages, the decision is a no brainer.

My girlfriend and I had an awesome weekend at 7 Springs. I recommend familiarizing yourself with both the hotel and mountain (if you're with an inexperienced skier). This was our 2nd stay so we were far more prepared.

If you plan on spending the weekend, I highly recommend the private hot tubs. Its a really fun experience! We had robes in our room to wear to the pool but I'm not sure if all do. Call ahead to make sure or pack your own!

COVID: Bring comfortable masks for walking about the hotel AND skiing! Masks are required in the hotel and on the slopes. Have to appreciate this during these times. They have also changed their cleaning policy. Familiarize yourself on their website.

Additional recommendations:
-Call ahead and make reservations before your trip! (I think they are in the process of moving to online scheduling which will be a huge help for the patrons and employees!)
-Valet parking is so clutch and worth the cost, particularly if you are skiing. We kept boots, skis, and lunch in the car. Kept me from wearing a backpack, walking around in ski boots, or toting my skis all over the place.
-The food selection is just ok, but I'm a bit of a foodie. If you can get a reservation for Helen's, do it. Otherwise, checkout Out of the Fire (offsite). I've heard Highlands Market has a great deli but did not get the chance to check it out.
-Bring drinks and snacks for in the room after skiing. They have a mini refrigerator but do not have microwaves.

I come here every year from Orlando, Fl. to stay and visit relatives that live in the area around 7springs. Each year I am never disappointed by wonderful and attentive staff that work hard to make my experience great. The reservation manager helped me book a two night stay even though they were at capacity that weekend. Tina B at the front desk helped to get the family style room when we checked in. Cheryl in the Bavarian room helped accommodate my mothers request for chili. Beverly the manager assisted me when I had an issue with take out from Timbers. Lastly Amber and Kelsey at the front desk did a fantastic job all the way around helping me out. All the staff on the grounds at the summer tubing, alpine slide and alpine tower were very nice as well. The staff works hard and are friendly, and it's one reason why I choose this resort each year when I come back to visit. Maybe this year I'll come up in the winter too. The only thing I'd recommend is a "freshen up" of the indoor putt-putt.

Disrespectful staff.... Prices are too high.... Wouldn't let my friends bachelorette part into the bar without leaving ALL of their funny penis related junk that usually goes along w a bachelorette party. Behind... This group of humans actually PLANNED and took time out of their lives to have a great time at your facility, and you ruined a ton of their good memories by being too strict... What did you think a group of Mormons would be having a church meeting in your BAR on a Saturday night?!? Possibly some fun adults having drinks would be OFFENDED?!?!??? I can't stand your facility, the people you have running it, or the prices that don't match the crappy vibe I get while I'm there....

Ok....of course, they win by default...and I suppose because of this they can charge a ridiculous amount for lift tickets... RIDICULOUS amount....for the same mountain I had been skiing for 35 years. If I time it right, I can fly out to Colorado roundtrip for the cost of a lift ticket and decent meal. The improvements over the past few years have been minimal and do not justify the price.
