First place i ever skied at, still go there to ski. Nice place!
My husband and I spent the night of October 16, 2014 at Seven Springs. Our meals were included in the fall package as well as tickets for Falling Water. The hotel was immaculate, comfortable, and upon arriving, I attempted to make a cup of coffee, but couldn't get the Keurig coffeemaker to work. I called the front desk and within minutes, housekeeping was there and showed me how to do it. They asked if there was anything else that they could do for us and said that they would be there till midnight if we needed anything. The meal at Helen's was excellent, the service above par, the breakfast was the best we ever had in our travels anywhere. The fall colors were at their peak. It was a wonderfully relaxing and beautiful experience. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a pleasant getaway.
Great skiing, other activities for non skiers, nice bars/restaurants when you need a break
By far the worst experience I have had at a resort. Big fish in a little pond resort run by lackluster employees that punch a clock. They charge as much for a small and somewhat decent hill as you would find out West for several mountains. It however was not worth the cost of a lift ticket.
-Rude lift operators
-Stolen Items (be careful the foggy goggle is WELL known for this)
-Absolutely no interest in helping me find my stolen items
-unwillingness to file a report
-I've had better waitresses at a diner around 4 AM
-When trying to find the security station, employees would just point and keep their eyes on what they were reading
-Bitter employees all around. Not a single smile was returned. You work on a snowy mountain (PA Hill)... cheer up.
I finally got a manager that sat on the board on the phone after being quite firm about having my issue resolved. "You have found someone that will get you answers." Over a week later I got a call from a mundane sounding security guy saying they would rather not file a report.
In short: If you have any experience or expectations with quality resorts, do not go to 7 Springs.
Pond Skim rocked! Pupperdups got to swim in the blue water!
Had a great time. I found staff very helpful to any questions I had. The women at pro shop answered all of my questions and were very nice. Helped me pick out a pair of goggles.
Great scenery, played back atmosphere, fun nightlife, and tons of activities.
Everything is over priced but I guess that's to be expected at a place like this. The events are great and dont miss the POND SKIM
Great place to go skiing. Staff was very helpful and nice. Had a lot of fun.
It gets worse every year really. Nothing new has been added in years aside from structural improvements. Nuttings are more interested in putting more hotels and meeting centers around instead of improving the slopes. Its a shame.
In area for weekend so stopped by for horse ride, lunch & shoppes. Nice day.
As good as you will find in the Mid-Atlantic although could use a facelift. Hitting the Foggy Google is a must do...
Love the resort staff is wonderful and the barkeeps are so friendly
We love skiing and snowboarding at Seven Springs. The staff are all friendly and helpful and there is a large variety of trails for all skill levels.
Very nice and the staff were very pleasant and friendly!!!!
The place is the maximum utmost. I know, I work there.
I can't speak with regards to the skiing, but I've spent a bit of time at conferences here over the past few years.
Over all, it is an excellent resort. It is rustic, but with reasonably modern amenities. They get dinged a star mostly because it is 1) expensive for what is offered, and 2) because the cell phone reception is somewhat spotty, and there is not a decent free WiFi option.
There for options range from mediocre and expensive to excellent and expensive. The accommodations both at the main hotel and their cottages are excellent, but not 5 star.
If you happen to be an event organizer, the remote location and capacity are without equal in this part of the state.
Activities and food good but expenses. Rooms need updated.
The mountain is big with many options for any type of skier/snowboarder. The terrain park is AWESOME. We were here for a race and the staff were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. A shuttle operator ran the parents back and forth to the races all day with a fabulous sunny attitude. The food at the lodge is what it is at most ski resorts, over-priced and pretty bad so pack your snacks.
Very poor service overbooked dining room very disappointed I'm a long time customer
This is the place I fell in love with skiing!!! Great atmosphere and so much to do!! Whether you're a beginner or expert, alone or with a group, there's fun to be had here!! CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON!!
It's a beautiful place. Took my son there for a Christmas event and wasn't disappointed. They just installed new snow machines that are definitely worth their weight in gold. It hasn't snowed much in the area but you couldn't tell with those machines. Has a bunch of retail stores inside and good restaurants. To me, it's reminiscent of a ski resort in Colorado.
I love seven springs. I have been riding here for nearly 10 years now. I learned how to snowboard here and it's always nice to come visit. I love that there are so many different trails for everyone ranging beginner to expert. The bar is incredible, but the food is just eh for me personally.
Best parks on the east coast, awesome people, can't get enough!
The place is in desperate need of repairs and upgrades. Mattresses feel like they are 20 years old and rooms are out of the 80's. Had two horrible dining experiences. My sister and brother in law ordered a spinach omelette that was served with lettuce. If you stay here, expect to pay 4 star prices for a 1 star experience.
I just can't for the life of me understand why it's so expensive! Oglebay holiday weekend in wheeling , wv started off at $170 for overnight accommodations and all of the same things that 7 springs had for their "holiday in the highlands" . Seven springs starts off at $203 PER PERSON for this though. I grew up around seven springs and a long as I've been alive there have been no renovations or updates. So why would you expect people to pay this money ? Wow. Each year it gets more and more expensive and the quality remains stagnant . Cannot justify spending $600 for a family of 3 for a holiday weekend at ... 7 Springs ? Lol. Amazed by their greed.
There for an event and the place was spectacular. Great restaurants and very friendly and helpful staff.
I've been going there for years, and it's been fun at every age
