Best caravan park ever x clean. Good entertainment. And the staff were just brilliant all of them especially reception staff xxxx Michelle see you next year xxxx
Great caravan. We had 3 bedrooms which didn't expect especially as this was a Sun Newspaper offer. Close to Edinburgh and Highlands Wildlife Park. Security brilliant first night as gas bottle was running low. Within minutes of phoning they changed gas bottle and checked boiler. Many thanks Would stay here again. Had stayed at this camp many times but not for a few years .
I booked a high end caravan with decking for a weekend break and was presented with an Owners caravan. Approaching, I didn't know if we were informed of the wrong plot so tentatively knocked on the front door to double check. It turned out to be the right van, but the exterior and interior were far too personal, it felt like you were a guest in someone else's property rather than a space you had paid good money for.
Exterior was rusted furniture, cigarette ends all over the ground, traffic cones, a creepy huge gnome faded from the sun, and a flag...which relentlessly hit a metal clip against the pole. Interior was the proceeds of a raid of B&M aisles with the tacky 'home', 'friends' orniments, and the dreaded Live, Laugh, Love. There were even wind-chimes... There were also personal effects such as a paid of glasses, a glass that hadn't been washed, a suspicious stain on the sofa too. Remotes didn't work properly for the TV, and the surround sound would sporadically decide to go to maximum volume and make you jump out your skin. I could go on...
Fortunately I was only using the caravan as a base as I spent most of my time in Edinburgh, but I won't be staying at Seton Sands again. If that is the level of accommodation they supply for the second most expensive that have to offer, I can only imagine a basic is the bins behind the complex.
Good site for the kids. Friends used this as a base for wedding. Place is huge only downside is finding a specific caraven at night. Might have been the drink though. Would useagain.
A massive selection of caravans to choose from if your are buying or renting it out. The grounds are fairly well kept too.
Plenty of on site amenities found in the holiday lounge closer to the main road, restaurant, bar, arcade, activities center and there are shows put on quite often.
Caravans are so clean. Site well maintained and quiet at night. The beach is just across the road with lots of rock pools and wildlife. Highly recommended.
Up and coming caravan site. Staff are always happy help you with your needs well kept and clean grounds. Hat a fantastic stay here plenty to do. New owners lounge was fantasic idea and great job has been done. Definetly recommend here
Not what it's advertised on media totally fake published stay away. Not even worth a one star was nothing for my teenage son to do (15) he ended up going a run along the beach every night
Absolutely great. We went for an Airbnb caravan and we had spectacular views on the sea. The entire caravan was more than accommodating for 3 people. And the connectivity to the main city was great.
Holiday park with mobile homes, large, well-kept complex at the end of the village, porter's lodge, bordering the coastal road, no sandy beach, indoor swimming pool in the complex, bus station at the entrance to the park,
What an absolutely beautiful place! I can't believe how lucky we were to come here at this time. It's almost certainly the most beautiful sunset that I have ever seen in my life! I'm not sure how great it would be without such good weather, but I can highly recommend it with some good weather in tow! Check out the sunset pictures, although I missed the beautiful colours across the sky at the end of the evening.
Absolutely loved this holiday. Caravan was fantastic was only supposed to be a standard and we arrived and it was deluxe that was a lovrly start. so clean and tidy inside and out. Was in a lovely part of the park. The pool was really clean and fun. All the staff great fun and really helpful. It definitely has been a chilled problem and stress free holiday us as a family needed. Only point was food once again in on site restaurant never had a good meal one yet but that to us isnt a big problem bas we cook in caravan or go off site. Lovely play areas for all ages kids loved it. Loads of activities too. Thank you seton sands see you next year!!
Going back even tho first time weather was rubbish me and my daughter still managed keep busy with entertainment that's all throughout the day. Can't wait come back!!
The site is immaculate although a lot of caravans the thing that let's it down is the communal areas such as the bar/restaurant as there was loads of litter and dog ends where you sit and eat/drink
Total mucked about ftom the moment we arrived caravan 2hours late pillow cases missing bedding for sofa bed not in caravan asked next morning for stuff still waiting yotal joke
Good wee holiday park. As Haven parks go, this is relatively small but it was still an enjoyable stay. There are the usual Haven things like pool, bar, amusements, shop and a fish&chip shop.
This resort has a reasonable sized showbar which had the character shows for the kids. Unlike other holiday parks, it never felt too 'manic'.
The swimming pool is decent. It's quite warm, has a giant dunking bucket and a big slide. It also has a separate area for activities so the pool isn't needlessly closed during the day. Our kids loved the 'pool party's and the aqua gliders!
Our kids liked the park as well - not massive but worth a visit.
There is a soft play area but it's relatively small but may occupy the kids for a bit.
There is a beach across the road.
A bus stop outside with a regular bus to Edinburgh.
Very good park and very clean. Good location for various attractions and Edinburgh. We stayed in touring and the touring wardens were absolutely fantastic and very helpful. Beach across the road was good. All on site amenities are of an excellent standard. My only criticism is aimed at Haven as they appear to want rid of touring on various sites across the country. The touring area is out of the way up one corner, not a huge distance but all the same it's a not with the rest of the park. Whilst we were there in June of 2018 it was evident that they are expanding the area that their static vans are on. So much so that it would be of no great surprise if they keep going and get rid of the touring area. Hopefully this not the case but we'll wait and see over the coming years. A great park please Haven don't get rid of another of your touring sites.
Excellent location for visiting the local area with just a short drive, bus ride to Edinburgh, and Tantallon Castle, Bass Rock, Aberlady and North Berwick nearby. The facilities on site are clean and all the usual Haven entertainment is on offer. The caravans were fine and access to both the beach and country walks is easy. The beach is mainly shingle but a shell collector's paradise. Staff were friendly and a special mention for Tom who was great with our kids.
Typical British holiday park. Good location. We had a super large mobile home with everything on it. Tasty fish and chips. Bus to Edinburgh stops at the door.
best holiday park in scotland!!!! i was just there for the weekend and it was amazing we go every year and and all the staff are so friendly and fun. the caravans are so clean and have an amazing view out to the sea it had amazing activities for children like water sports and outdoor activities!! love it and cant wait to go again
It s a nice place has bus route to Edinburgh and other towns and villages on route. The sea and beach is just across the road. Sea shells all along the beach. Walking routes to different areas and even to a medieval church only open till September. Park has 2 pools and golf course and fishing lake. Kids activities and adventure areas. Mini shop and allows dogs. Staff are easy to talk to and help you if you need it. There are activities in the show room at night and food is available at the bar area. Smoking areas at rear of bar area with tables and cover. Football area in fenced of box so ball does not get lost or damage caravans. Would recommend a stay here.
There were some small adventures. But even though we were out of season plus quick service as well as a solution to the fault. I recommend it for a weekend trip with friends. A bit far from Edinburgh but something at the expense of something. This should not be a problem for motorists. I would recommend.
This was our 2nd long weekend in a year (with family and 2 granddaughters aged 7 and4) which is indicative of how much we enjoy visiting the site. The caravan itself was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Only slight comment was that there were numerous cigarette stubs strewn about outside the van. However, after a quick call, a groundsman appeared and cleared them. Maybe that is something should be done more regularly. So far as camp facilities and activities were concerned, these are excellent. My granddaughters had brilliant time at, amongst numerous others, rock pooling, den building, treasure hunt, firestarting (under safe instruction from Ranger Scott). I have to single out Ranger Scott. He is magnificent and held my granddaughters enthralled in all their activities. All in, it was a brilliant break and we shall no doubt be back. Bring your own bingo dabber for the evening!!!
Lovely quiet and clean park. Regular bus service to Edinburgh which is a must when the Festival is on. North Berwick and Dunbar are also great towns to visit with lovely beaches. Great area if you are a golfer.
Our 2nd time in this caravan with my family and our border terrier. We enjoy heading out from here to enjoy North Berwick, Archerfield, Gullane and this time we went to the pub in Dirleton for dinner it was lovely. The caravan is clean and in good order, the caravan looks right out to sea and is in a lovely area of the park.
Caravan was great. But 1 bed desperately needed a new mattress, you could feel every spring! The restaurant is very expensive and poor equality! Items missing from meal and so burnt it was inedible. Asked for manager but he was to busy to talk to us. Full refund given, but poor customer services. Kids had a great time. plenty to do to keep them happy!
Very quiet complex, extremely neat and tidy, we had a fantastic caravan great position, the pantomime was probably the best we have seen in a Haven, I think the site is best suited to a younger age group of children . great service into Edinburgh, bus stands outside the site, would go again.
First time staying here and wasnt sure what to expect, the caravan we got was really bad... quite shocked actually, toilet smelt like piss, the cusion had puke on a few, stains on the carpet. Floor didnt looking like it was cleaned, there was a horrid mould smell throughout. Bed wasnt made and missing 2 mattress. So called to complain and they gave us another caravan, this also smell bad and looked semi clean. By this point i actually thought, this was what all standard caravan would be like. So they gave me a different caravan, and this was CLEAN, it smelt like a clean room. Toilet was spotless, no puke stains on the cusions. Mattress are quite hard but ok. There are activities but nothing was explained well to us, we had to figure it out ourselve. The swimming pool info say heated pool but it was very cold. We only went in once as it was too cold. Overall kids did enjoy themselves but i wouldnt book another trip here.
