Although the food was a good standard, the service was abysmal. 45 minutes for the meal to arrive totally unacceptable. We ate in the restaurant twice, we put the first wait down to it being busy, however nothing changed on the second visit which was lunch time. Service at the bar is also slow, the bar people do everything from making coffee to taking orders for food, ocasionaly actually serving alcohol. Standing in a line for 10 to 15 minutes to order, then the long wait for food. My advice to anyone reading this, eat in your van.

We also had the misfortune to visit family members who were staying at Haggerston Castle site, that was a tip, bar was swimming with spillage, dirty glasses on a lot of empty tables in their showbar, no one collecting empties.

On arrival beds not made ( bedding left under caravan) , we had paid extra for this , when informed staff helpful and apologetic and refunded charge , caravan a bit dated looking marks on carpets and cushions as it was a standard van no heating thank god wee brought our own or would've been very cold , entertainment venue quite small so need to be very early to get a seat or table ,

Pool staff extremely helpful and friendly especially the young manager who went out his way to help were he could , great wee soft play area just outside the venue which kept the 2 kids amused ! Go karts and plenty of activities to keep busy , lovely big beach just across the road ,

Enjoyable wee break , would possibly come back however if I did would upgrade to better caravan

We have just returned from a week at Seton Sands. Very pretty site. Due to covid,we could not access all of the services. Information about what was open was confusing. Prior to our visit the website said the pool was closed however, it was open. Opening times for the reception team were also confusing.

I have given a four star rating as the sales team were so helpful. We were originally sited in a very noisy area of the site, near the maintainance yard. When I complained that it was too noisy, we were moved to a lovely quiet area. Thanks team !.

Came with my partner and my son. The staff were friendly but needed to be more informed when it came to activities. My son went on a treasure hunt with ranger Scott. He was fantastic! Made up for the lack of info from other staff. He was great with the kids and even the adults enjoyed it.

Had a fantastic weekend, gorgeous caravan and staff as welcoming and helpful as ever. Great wee family holiday with plenty of options, even if the weather's not great!

Come to Seton Sands holiday park every year as it is in close proximity to the City of Edinburgh. Lovely little camp with clean caravans and friendly staff. The camps pool has been updated which is a great improvement and well worth a visit.

Terrible experience personally. The caravan stunk of smoke and we all left with sore throats. Usually me and my family love haven but are definitely not coming here again. Staff weren't very helpful and not might do there in terms of activities unless you're going into the city centre.

Lovely place to spend a week or two close to the big city of Edinburgh bus stop outside takes you to the heart of the city of Edinburgh in about an hr or you can take a train from wallyford or musselburgh which takes about 10 to 15 mins.. we stayed last week and thoroughly enjoyed it.. unfortunately the only thing that let us down was the fish & chip shop service was appalling waited half hr for me & my wifes dinner. Ended up having to take it back as the chicken was stone cold. Waited another 15 mins for them to tell me it was just going in.. demanded a refund .. went down the rd to Carlos place.. much better service with better portions & a cheaper price. Will be using them in the future

We stayed for 4 nights at this site, all the staff were very friendly in particular the reception staff couldn't do enough for us.
We were upgraded when we arrived and the caravan was really lovely,
We didn't take the car and used trains, busses and trams, it was amazing, very cheap and reliable and a lot less stressful.

Great holiday park. Great for young families but can get a bit noisy in the bar/restaurant. Nice pool and location with sea views was really nice. And only half an hour to Edinburgh. Definitely go back again.

Really fun place to stay. There is a golf course just 2 minutes away and a fishing pond as well although it is a catch and release pond only and you have to bring a net and a mat. There is lots to do for kids as well, including an arcade.

Came for three nights to go to Edinburgh tatoo. Really lovely cabins. Problem with no towels but this was soon sorted. Didn't really do much on site. Would have had fish and chips Saturday night but it was shut !! Very handy for Edinburgh. Have stayed previously 5 yrs ago to go the the golf Open at midfield. It was so handy and excellent value compared to hotels in the area. Nice clean site, good helpful staff.

Great place for families with little kids. Grounds were extremely well maintained, lots for the kids to do. Nightly kids entertainment, soft play, swimming pool, swing parks etc..

Food was good in the on site restaurant and the alcohol was a reasonable price.

Our second time there with the kids and are considering buying a caravan there we liked it so much.

Great location, however site run by youngsters no visible management around site, if you are a holiday maker the facilities you have to use or Restaurant, leisure and pool are fine but retinue day to day mantinance is none existence. IE. Tables in resterauant not cleared for up to 1 hour promoting fly's. Carpets to cleaned day after day and many more issues. However if you are a owner on the site you have top class resterauant and leisure facilities which holiday clients are refused entry to.

Good park - 24 hour friendly security. Set in huge grounds with 9 hole golf course.

Takes 1 hour 15 into Edinburgh as stops every 50 yards! Exact fare only!!
Cheap trainfares also from local stops.

Good sized pool and arcade.

Did not try fish and chippy on site as seemed dear.

Staff experience was lovely - had a small issue with tv signal and was fixed in 15 minutes.
