It's a lovely clean complex. We stayed in the tourer sight which is a bit out the way but were you are is quiet and lovely scenery. Lots of wasps though so be careful as it's a conservation area. The gentleman who runs the tourer sight stevie is an absolute gem, nothing is too much for him very kind polite and helpful. The showers and toilets are clean. I think stevie deserves a pay rise and a bonus for all his work and just for being very nice guy and great with the kids. The complex is about 10/15minute walk away from tourer site but nice walk.
The pool is surprisingly big it's got 2 big pools and a baby pool also, with water features and a slide. The only thing that let it down was the young lifeguards seemed to take great joy in marking all the young girls that entered the pool. Which is a little uncomfortable to watch. I know there young but be professional or be discreet. The pool area is actually very clean a lovely guy keeps the changing area very clean and dry for you. The showers are lovely and warm as the pools are freezing.
The entertainment complex Is quite small for the amount of caravans in the park. The entertainment staff are nice but guy on wrestling day could do with being a little more interested in job he seemed to tired and even said so that he would rather be napping. They just didnt seem interested any of the 3 of them. There is a shop that has a wide range of coop items. Reasonably priced. The chip shop could do with being open at lunch time and have a little more on offer. Quite expensive I feel for what you get. There is a restaurant but we didnt eat in it. Again feel bit expensive for the selection but I know there is always a mark up in places like this.
Overall it's an ok place but could offer so much more for kids etc for the size of it.

great

Lovely caravan park with a beautiful local beach. Park has numerous facilities were all ages. Staff were very welcoming and we were surprised by a free upgrade to a Platinum caravan! Caravan was very cosy. Would definitely visit again. Only half an hour drive(ish) to all the main Edinburgh tourist attractions.

My family had a great time at Seton Sands. The caravan we had was fantastic - cleaned to a high standard and placed with a view to the sea. My kids absolutely loved it. Was particularly impressed with the swimming pool.

That paragraph shouldn't take away from what is a fantastic place to bring your kids though.

I stayed in Seton Sands in a prestige 3 bed caravan for 4 nights with my wife and 2 kids. The caravan was clean and well appointed, heating was ok but not great. I found the couch ridiculously hard and the bed too soft.

The swimming pool was good but for some reason the big bucket was never on, lifeguards were helpful but a bit dour (and I should know as I'm dour). My kids loved the pool.

The amusements were a good way to waste a bit of time and the small soft play was free but very disappointing, kids enjoyed it though.

The Showbar smelled a bit musty however the child entertainment staff were fantastic! Hands down the best part was the child's entertainment, I didn't enjoy it but my kids were enthralled and looked forward to it all day.

All in all I would not return to Seton Sands, it was nowhere near as good as Haggerston Castle (which I went to last year) but there is potential for it to be better

This is a great caravan park, situated not far from Edinburgh itself, there is a bus that stops outside the park to get into Edinburgh centre. Caravans are lovely and well equipped. Great for a short break.

Seton Sands is quite a nice place with plenty of activities for all the family. .. But on the down side of things be careful if you want to rent a caravan ... We were expecting a three bedroom caravan but no we got a two bed and the person we rented off did nothing to help us ...we had plenty of msges from him stating it was 3 bed and he has no consideration of offering anything else or any money back for his blatant false misrepresented holiday ........

Just returned home after 5 days holiday with my family. The Park was very clean & probably the best one stayed at to date. The restaurant food was very Good. Fish & Chips worth a visit, although the day we went there was one guy doing everything. Golf course staff very polite & 9 hole, par 3 golf course was good fun & well kept. Good scenery. Went in pool today, although good enough, not much to do for a teenager. The mini Mart was well priced & well stocked up.

Nice park, just to east of Edinburgh- handy for day trips to Edinburgh (park and ride and Prestonpans car park very close). Park is opposite beach and in a pleasant location. Site has a shop, take away, entertainment complex and kids play areas. There are a number of supermarkets within 15 mins drive as well for a bigger shop. Would use again as a base to explore Edinburgh.

This Havan was really good... but it's in the middle of no where and to get to the town as about 20 minutes or so.... Edinburgh so close and again took about 20 to 25 mins.... it has a lot on site and the coast is a 5 minute walk

Nice park, we had a fairly new caravan and that was great !!!!
This was our first park in the UK, so we were not used to our 15,12 and 6 kids not being allowed to swim alone, it was the youngest of 6 (who has his swimming diploma) who had to swim under the supervision of a parent. ..okay rules are rules so I swim with the two youngest .... we were the only 3 guests who were swimming with no less than 5 lifeguards ...
I don't understand that a profit can still be made here.
Furthermore, a great park, clean, tidy and friendly people. Excellent base for nice trips in the area.
And don't forget to take a walk on the stand / mudflats at low tide. Is full of starfish and hermit crabs !!!!

Had a fab time at Seton Sands holiday village. The highlight of our stay was the nature rocks activities run by ranger Scott. My two children 8 and 5 loved going rock pooling, the pirate treasure hunt, the big hunt, the nature trail and pond dipping. Ranger Scott was great with the children, especially my autistic son who loves bugs and animals, he was truly in his element. The pool was great and my two loved playing in it. The changing rooms were spotless, the cleanest I have seen anywhere. The food was reasonably priced and we only had a long wait on one night and that was because the restaurant was really busy. The site was pretty clean and the caravan was spotless too. We went to the show bar twice for activities and they weren't too bad. The show bar did look as though it could do with a little TLC, but that was the only part of the park that seemed a little tired.
