Been a while since we visited, but the store met all my expectations. Some fabulous stuff in here, if you can afford it. Really good time to visit is around Christmas, their Christmas 'shop' is exceptional. Lots of attentive staff, eager to please.
Beautiful store with wide selection of quality goods.
I visited with the intention of purchasing a high-end OLED TV from the tech section, and found the staff to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable; going above and beyond what I'd normally expect. I already knew a fair amount about the product, so could tell that the chap I spoke to had a great deal of knowledge (including something that had only been announced by the manufacturer a day prior). They even contacted a manufacturer representative to confirm the answer to a warranty/policy question I'd asked. Really exceptional service and greatly appreciated effort.
Great selection and service. Great store to shop in.
Excellent. Great selection of brands and very kind staff.
location 10/10 customer service 8/10 deals 5/10 (harrods have better deals/sales) convince (9/10)
Nice shopping place, very big and over priced items :(. I like the place but couldn't afford most of the items there. If you have the money then I would recommend it if not .., then it's pointless temptations.
The famous department store does not disappoint. Now with in-house cinema in the basement, where you can also find every gadget under the sun.
Amazing, not too crowded like other department stores.
Great mall if you have a lot of money to spend or if you want to look at new products, great services in general and not as busy as other malls, not really a must to see in my opinion, I think that Harrods is more original, but if you have time to pass by you won't regret it :)
I went in for a bra fitting, but the whole shopping experience here is lovely and luxurious. Multiple floors, expansive displays, polite employees, designer goods, a wide price range... All in all, a really enjoyable experience and a good place to shop! Also, I highly recommend trying a bra fitting there.
If you love Shopping for great make up, clothes, bags, watches , perfumes then this is the heaven for you! You will find mostly all the great brands under one roof And if your stomach starts rumbling for food but your heart wants to shop for more, don't you worry there is a food court at the topmost floor.
Felt very uncomfortable and out of place, unless you are super rich, avoid
Came for shopping with my case as I was flying on that day.Even westfield have service where you can leave your bag and go shopping easily.I was trying to ask the staff what I can do in this situation and all of them (especially girl at reception )were very rood to me.They said that I have to care it with me whole time due to current situation in London !!!!But is it not silly ??!?!?!if you care about your customers you should check their bags on entrance or put a mettalodetector !Not to treat them like that
Disappointing customer service and not following consumer rights laws. Bought some Christian Laboutins. Wore 4 times and after the inside sole moved. Also worw outside on one of 4 occasions for 4 minutes and red soles damaged. In addition as within 6 months it is upto them to prove was not faulty rather than me to prove it was. That is what the consumer rights act states very clearly. Selfridges decided to ignore this. I have asked to escalate to senior management. They need to look after their customers. Buyer beware
My favorite department store in the world! During my last visit I scored a designer bag I had been searching for and which was always sold out . But even when I m not in search of anything in particular I love to wander through this beautifully laid out space. And the efficient AC is a huge bonus if you are visiting during a London heat wave!
Packed out. All lavatories I tried were in a thoroughly disgusting state. Seemed to me that everything for sale was tailored to Arab and Russian tastes. Made me feel vaguely nauseous and couldn't get out fast enough.
Spoke to a lad called Tom on the phone . One of the nicest people I ve spoken to in a shop in a long time helped with my issue and assured that my problem will be fixed before 10 and it was
Great selection of high end and high street brands under one roof! Love the beauty department.
Great store has everything staff very friendly you could easy spend a whole day in there would defiantly take a friend there and recommended
Staff are generally friendly and helpful but occasionally they don't know stuff that they probably should. The store has a really good range of products but I believe they have scaled down the furniture department considerately. You can buy some really good value products here so don't think that it's necessarily going to be expensive. Delivery of items tends to be impressively fast.
Can't really complain about it, all well organised. But where has their chocolate concession gone? Also, I am mad for their Cliv vitamin c mask and it seems to be the one that always sells out so don't understand why don't they just sell the whole line... I've had to order the serum from the US and Spain where I've paid more in shipping than the item... sad times.
I use to come here a lot but I feel it s jusy not as good as it use to be. Won t be coming back here but it s still has all I need. Harrods has become my new spot.
Since 2010, 2012, 2014, Selfridges again won the world department award "The Best Department Store in the world" this year! Well done!!
Used the bathroom during the pre Christmas rush! On the second floor, very clean.
It is a very upmarket store, lots of named brands everything you can think of, bring your wallet it is an expensive store. Staff are a little up themselve cos of the place they work in... But if your open up to have a look around you can definitely find yourself a bargain... But get there when they open up and you will be guaranteed of securing a item for you...
Went into the Lloyds Pharmacy and looks like i stepped back in time. Absolutely shocking rude staff, standing and chatting along not acknowledging any customers. Broken and dusty shelves no on par with the rest of this store. After a long wait the pharmacist is doing "health checks" so he doesn't want to even see me. Cant believe they are actually in Selfridges!!!
Always love this shop, busy but all you need under one roof
Great place for shopping. Tax refund service and lounge are the best.
An upmarket shopping experience. High quality is the only option. And expect to pay for the privilege. Lovely sales assistants do their jobs well. VERY busy. Never a dull moment. Always exceptional.
A centre piece for Oxford street and London shopping. Certainly an experience for tourists. It is expensive...as expected.
Love this landmark. It is always packed but just going inside and seeing the amazing pieces is worth the time. Pro-tip: You might think that just because it is high fashion they don't do boxing day deals but, this is not true. They will do the best boxing day deals in town... It might just take a while to find them...
I went to shop here yesterday late evening around 8 pm I was harassed by two Ghanaian guys while I was trying out a shoe. I left my bag briefly to check out in the mirror. Within a split second they stole another selfridges bag with two lipsticks from my handbag and took off. I realized this soon after, as I paid for my shoe and went back to check but the guy who was assisting with shoe purchase said he knew nothing and the guys who stole had taken off. The cashier was also inappropriate in behaviour winking etc while I was paying. I must say this place has thieves and people who behave inappropriately and wonder if I ll go again! If the management is serious they should use cctv if present to avoid theft as everything costs a bomb here and employ more decent people!
Great store for shopping goods ranging from perfume on ground level to animal pet store at top where you might find a tiger. However since 09 one has had a community proped up by Mr bigs cocaine cartel and a dark police force encircling one on the streets and into stores. I have been fitted up as a scapegoat (whipping boy) for the arrival of a dark police force (singing SIRENS) whom are using mobile encirclement warfare on the streets of west london. This is being done to contain mr bigs street operaters to disrupt Mr Big (top brass laundrette bosses of cartel network). I am being blamed as a spokesman by the neighbour 'hood' of Mr Big and have been used as a Cat's paw by the singing SIRENS to act as a honey pot to trap mr bigs street operaters against ones will. Now the community under the establishment and Mr bigs idolatry of Mr big encircle one on streets and into stores with tight encirclement with whistle, wide cavity of feign of musculature yawn, eyeball, to break me to have me locked up in an assylum where I would meet my own feign of death. The Cartel community and establishment together are manipulating GPs and the medical world by souping up my medical files to change my identity from a nervous light student to a deranged delusional psychopath. This is liable slander as I was attending university during this period and passed all my exams to gain a degree in psychology with birkbeck in year 15. A SIREN. GP infiltrated medical office to soup up my medical files the see a freind quack of hers. "So it says here that you imagine gangs and cars following you" , the man in white coat and thick black glasses with black quiff whom resembled a penguin. "No I do not imagine anything of the sort I am being encircled by organised mobile networks of the cocaine cartel". "Oh and why would that be!", the quack says... "I have been fitted up as a spokesman, (supergrass) by mr big of the cartel..." He gets out a syringe to say can I inject you in the bottom..."No you cannot", I said to walk with pace out his office door through a dark ward of comatised zombies... I continued my 4 year degree programme to graduate in year 15...During this period I was being hunt encircled into college on the campus by 'mobile' cartel networks with whistle, eyeball, death threats but endured this test. In year 16 I do some detective work to find out why I was being hunt encircled and slandered and dehumanized on the streets and in 'big' stores. The cartel network of mr big had been persuing one into the local medical centre to paint me to medical staff and GPs as a deranged man and troubled man. A new overqualified GP then arrived in year 11 to meet me on the streets from return man hunts. The cartel/police/health care community was in momentum in mass machine of menace of vans, cars, in covert camoflage as electrical, mail, building trucks, council refuge trucks, transit hire vans, many with logos HealthCare, Deadline, ...Cleanstreets...these machines would drive alongside one to paint an assosiation of me being dirty and in need of Health Care to the world. The GP whom Id only seen once was giving me disaproval eyegaze after being circle hunted by mass numbers and penetrated with taunting whistle, confrontation, blow horns.brow buts to the head...from builders with scarface... I then phone up a health clinic to find out if Ive been labeled by a GP of the establishment. A woman with africaan accsent laughs at me to say to me...."you have delusional disorder, ha ha ha", she laughs. Can I speak with the quack 'gonzo', I ask..."Sadly he has just died she tells me... I then phone the GP to file a complaint at a false medical label by the cartel community establishment...The GP asks for evidence...I decline to be wary of this GP...I take it to the courts to clear my name of damaged reputation by liable slander of souping up my medical files...The GP in year 17 vanishes from medical duty. I ask for your loyal alliance to not fall short of slanderous gossip and to do good for man.
Ordered on 11/22/2018 and keep asking abt missing items since then and told ytd not to handle further and ask me to call the police. Asked them to tell me whole picture and all i got is 'we investigated and not able to refund'. Rude and helpless CS! did nth to help at all.
Luxury department store where you can find all you need in one place
Great for shopping. Thank you to Davide for all our help, insight and knowledge. He answered all of my questions and provided great assistance. highly recommended
Arguably the best department store in London - there's always something new to discover at Selfridges. Eat in the Food Hall or on the Roof at one of the amazing pop ups, love the wine sampling on the LG floor too.
I love this store especially during Christmas time they do have a wonderful window display and the whole store is very well decorated.
I loved this shop when I was visiting London for the first time but on this trip is like the staff is overwhelmed. Too crazy! Elevators did not work and staff only pay attention to you if they think you have money... what do they know? Also a little overpriced! Found same Stuff in other stuff cheaper and less busy places
I went there before when i have been in london.. but it will be the last. Over priced. I can get most of the stuff i liked cheaper near me.. big name making loads of cash
Only for those with rather deep pockets. Book store is affordabe, though.
Amazing place to be for shopping. It such a huge place that you never get bore here. They got variety of shops and all sort of designer stuff from basic to top range. Great IT shop inside the building as well technology stuff. Restaurant and and coffee shops with a lots of choices where you can have whatever you like. A perfect place to go and buy stuff if you dont have much to go to lots of places.
Great place, just very busy and hard to navigate. Toilets aren't frequent and a maze to find. Everyone is out to sell perfume - more staff than products!
Great Selection of products and a must visit food area
Fabulous day out here. Good wine, food, service, setting, perfume Dept staff attentive and caring. Lots of the Good Mr Selfridge attitude has come back to this department store. It shines.
Liked food hall the most, especially when they offer half price of big discount half hour before close.
Nice place and specially after seeing the show I felt that I had to see this place. Wasn t that much like the show so I was a little disappointed but it looked really nice and like a modern version of the show. Didn t spend super much time in there because it was really busy and really crowded. Want to go back a time when it s not that crowded, not a Friday afternoon...
It's the place to be. Meet lots of people, spend big bucks and have a pricey meal. If your looking for a place that's at the Peak of prestigious, Selfridges is the where you go.
Very popular, listened and gave advise . Friendly owner
Prices are sky high and I feel it is mostly based for high flyers then the average working person. A normal working person will struggle to find anything that they want for a good price. If anything, you'll end up paying about about 3 times the amount compared to somewhere else in a normal shop or online. It is MASSIVE and very fancy, but then I guess that's where the rest of the price goes into.
