Everyone watch out when purchasing discounted handbags: here s my experience at YSL this morning. I purchased a bag on sale today at YSL and the staff didn t notify me to check the bag before purchasing. Just as I thought it would be fine, turns out the discounted bag has black dirts on the bottom as well as on the top (underneath the chain), and it looks like it has been worn previously (logo inside came off slightly already). I specifically asked if they had a new one other than the display, they said yes and got me a new one. Dishonest staff and horrible customer skills, feel like it s almost a money scam.

The Pharmacy dark like a spa with no lights working, can't see my own feet. 1 staff to run the place and a sorry looking department. No products on the shelves and look like there was boxing match in there. Disgraceful pharmacy department.

Has all the best products you could imagine but no class. Felt like a fancy indoor market to me with no real substance. The staff seemed only interested in you if you search your pockets and pull out a Ferrari key. Wouldn't recommend it when Harrods is so close and they have a warm smile for everyone.

World class department store. Super modern and up to date. I like it better than Harrods. Easier to get to and everything is easier to find. Great selection in everything but not cheap except at sale time. I also worked for them many years ago and have great memories and also as a kid at the toys section.

Disappointed. I was looking for a fragrance that the mighty selfridges is out of stock.. one saving grace, they told me to go to Liberty store to buy it from them. I would have thought I could have placed an order with Selfridges.. Guess not.

I know it is a huge shopping mall and nobody will ...

I know it is a huge shopping mall and nobody will care what I write here. But I want you know the risk and unpleasant you could have shopping in selfridges.

When I purchased it, the seller named "Julia" said they didn't have additional same sun glass and had to sell the displayed one to me though I told her I didn't like the displayed one. Then she cleaned up the glass for a while and found a small dot shaped scratch that she cannot clean up and offered me 10% off for the damage.

She first added a tag to the glass and then cut it as she told me this is damaged one. I thought the damage is acceptable since it is hardly noticeable and bought it. She told me this glass is no longer returnable. But on the bottom of the receipt, the Selfridge policy is "sale items can only be exchanged", so I think I can still exchange it within 14 days.

After I came home I found two 1cm long horizontal scratches on the another side of the glass which is very obvious under light from a particular angle.

I didn't have time to visit the store until the last day in 14 days period, I have to come to their shop and explained the situation. A female staff named "Inesa" treated me rudely and refused my exchange request. She told me "Do not spit on her" and I swear didn't. Then I asked to speak to her manager, and she said she is the manager.

I then went to Selfridge customer service desk on 4th floor. They asked another staff from the sun glass to come upstairs but still refused my request. Their reason is this is a damaged glass and they cannot resell it - but how on earth they allow to sell it to me on the first place?

I feel the seller "Julia" neither didn't see the defect or deliberately didn't tell me the defect when she sold it to me. And I feel I am entitled to have exchange as per Selfridge's policy.

I then wrote e-mail to selfridge customer service since the desk in shop cannot handle my request. I ask for an exchange of a new same sun glass - since I had 10% discount, I will pay the amount when exchanging. After several e-mails saying they are chasing it, they simply ignored me and do not reply to me any more.

Four months have passed, I have no idea how to protect my rights continuously. One thing I am sure is I will never shop here again.

Fantastic store lots of things to look at and buy, some very expensive brands one off clothing items. Kids will love the toy section. Very clean store and helpful staff, love the hairdressers in this store and not too expensive.

Lovely store! What s not to love! Style and grace! Love the food hall! Only knocking it stars because navigating the website is laughable. I thought perhaps when I used their website a few weeks ago it was just having issues, but it appears that is just the way it is. I m surprised such an elegant store that oozes wealth would not invest in a more user friendly website. Anytime you hit back after viewing an item you lose what you were scrolling, and have to find what order you were in. Cannot refine by colour of time- when you do it omits all the items.
