Until you have bought something you are the king, after that they do not know you anymore!
Car purchased, during washing the paint falls off. (see picture). Car dealer says it is badly sprayed.
What does Seldenrijk say? (see 2nd photo of purchase receipt) no leniency for hidden defects!
Not surprising that they are not affiliated with BOVAG!

The date for the appointment for a test drive had to be changed because of the MOT. After we arrived by appointment, the car did not start. The seller said that the 'stop' light continued to flash when you were driving and that they could not (want to) do anything about it. Since it was an hour away from us, we threw away two hours. People should have reported this, I think. I see this company as negligent and cannot recommend it to other cars.

Very bad experience with this company. I exchanged my Fiat 500 for a mini, which turned out to have a number of important defects after returning home. Sensors broken, Driver side lock broken (the remote control did not work). Of course we had contact about it, no cooperation. After half a year a rumble at the engine and a claim of almost 4000 euros. Since then no more cars after almost 30 years! Very unfortunate and that is still softly expressed. So no recommendation.

Start looking at seldenrijk on the basis of a marketplace advertisement. Good car, first owner looked good on photos. Still called in advance if the car had points of interest. No great car please come by. Time + test drive agreed. We arrive there after an hour and a half drive. Is the car surrounded by mud. well that's possible. Around a check done everywhere damage and missing decorative strips and the like rims damaged and tires worn. The engine also felt warm. We were hesitantly given the keys. opened the car, he smells musty of moisture. interior looked tired. starting a car gives him an error message and does not run on all cylinders. all in all it was really a scrapped car while we specifically asked about the condition of the car and that was according to the telephone seller neat. and also so stated on marketplace. Heavily disappointed back home. I never buy a car there of my life!

I bought a car (BMW F11) from them on 7th July for 11000 . After several washes the painting was gone. In order to sell the car they probably painted the broken parts with a cheap spray. This means fooling your client. I sold the car a few months later (in October) for 9000 as some more defects happened: diesel pump, EGR, intake manifold gasket broken + some problems detected at the gearbox. If you want to lose money by buying cars from abroad and sell them cheaper in Romania, you can pick them! :)

This car was a bit on the expensive side, but the spontaneous seller did not want to meet us. know what you are buying, They are a trading house and if you do not know cars, you should not buy here. I was 1500,00 lighter on a standard mistake of a VW passat within 3 months.

At the wiring harness of the tailgate was clearly erosion to see, this is a design flaw of VW. after the first rain shower the sensors went to tilt (tailgate would be open). When I joined the VW specialist, he knew immediately. the damage turned out to be a new cable harness.

In February an Audi A4 purchased at Seldenrijk in 2019. During a test drive it has not been noticed that something was wrong with driving a car. After we made a down payment it was agreed that the car would get a big turn and 2 new front tires would be put on it for more payment. The overhaul is done according to their Seldenrijk. The new tires were also put on it. The week we were able to pick them up o car. When we had picked up our car I already felt on the return trip that something was wrong with the steering wheel. After a few weeks I went to the garage and checked. So what appears to be no new tires but few used tires were set up. The front and rear tires were exchanged and the problem was solved. I contacted Seldenrijk to explain the situation in the hope that they will nevertheless receive a reimbursement. No, so they were sure that they had put on new tires and now that they are not sure whether I have not driven the car along the curb or have done something else with it. And since the brand of tires is not what we had agreed. Seldenrijk would still contact the garage where I went to and we link back to me. This is also still not happening. It is a pity that people can let your joy sink into the ground.
So people guarantee and good service to the door at Seldenrijk.They never come back to appointments .....
Please do not go buy a car at Seldenrijk ....

Can not say anything else than that I am a very satisfied customer! Honest, correct and representative staff.
No "standard" sales pitch! Listening to you and taking, despite the fact that it is incredibly busy, the time for you. Can exchange my car for a real amount. The car I had bought had a defect in the wiring harness after a month. I went back, next day I had a loan car and I could pick up my car free of charge. The loan car was a very new peugeot 108 so no old barrel where you are sent along the way as with most occaision dealers. From the mechanics to the receptionist all cheerfully enthusiastic and neat to the customer!

You don't have to have high requirements, because with this company this applies: what you see is what you buy. Although the company is kind enough to repair a broken bumper without paying extra (if you object to something like that). Furthermore, knowledge is an advantage if you buy a car here.

Three weeks ago we went to see a hyundai i40 car was of first owner and in reasonable condition. asking price 11.4.

After a test drive it turned out that the clutch / pressure group no longer felt properly (ok I'm a mechanic not really a problem for me)
next to the clutch, the front bumper was also not properly mounted and visible damage (not mentioned in photos).

After discussing this, we came down to the fact that 900 could be removed from the price, but without a warranty (car of almost 11k), this did not suit me because tjah these were also the costs that I have to make away for a bumper + Spoiler spray and new clutch and pressure group mount and then I decided to leave the car.

Two weeks later, after deliberation, I decided to go for it anyway, because what could be wrong with a car of 8 years old, 100 k, first owner? being entirely as a mechanic. unfortunately the car was at the painter's and would have already sold bad luck for me.

Two days later he returns to Mp Autoscout etc where I make an appointment with the company to come and have a look (same price 11.4 k with warranty etc). A day later I get a call. with the announcement that the asking price has gone up by 500 because there have been costs (paintwork) ok .. can be bumper and spoiler combi work roughly 400 together after 500. fine to which I answer, we'll figure it out.

Drove another 100 km to find out that only the spoiler is done and not the front bumper (as ugly as before).
(Junior ??) Seller's answer oh yes I thought that was also done.

So sat down at the table again and told casually the minimum price is 11.5 without warranty (just in short this is 1000 more than the previous negotiation and the only thing done is sprayed a spoiler (do you put this away yourself after a sprayer? Between 125 and 150 this may cost.

Well the answer was that it was already 2 weeks ago that the money was no longer (the only thing they could do was a full tank).

To make the story short
@seldenrijk make sure if you introduce a junior salesman first that he can make his own decisions without having to ask how or what.
be fair with your prices
be honest with your photos
be real with what you offer and take your losses where necessary.

my tip do your homework and first think carefully if there is no other car anywhere. and drives past here it took me at least 7 hours of my time and 400 km of fuel.

Because of the switch from diesel to petrol, we were looking for a young station wagon on petrol with not too many kilometers this summer. At Seldenrijk in Harderwijk in July this year we found a nice 2014 Ford Focus wagon with around 67,000 kilometers on the clock and for a reasonable price. We have looked at the car at Seldenrijk, where we were received in a hospitable and customer-friendly way despite the crowds. Fortunately, a test drive was no problem. From the start of the engine we were in love with this car. He drove great and had everything we were looking for. He was, apart from a single scratch, in an excellent condition. Minus point: the air conditioning system did not produce cold air, but this would be remedied at no extra cost before delivery. We didn't have to think long and bought the car.
I was then able to pick up the car with a properly working air conditioning, not a superfluous luxury with the heat of that moment.
As with any second-hand car, it is always exciting to see whether any defects arise shortly after the purchase. In our case, unfortunately, it turned out that there was a leak quite quickly in a hard-to-reach place in the coolant system, of which we immediately informed Seldenrijk. Seldenrijk subsequently dealt with this in an extremely customer-friendly manner and that is why we have come to a good solution with regard to repair. Fortunately this was possible in the short term. The car has since been repaired to full satisfaction.
Seldenrijk is doing well with customer focus.
My personal experience is that any problems are taken seriously and that they also work with a high standard of service and customer-friendliness towards a solution. I am very satisfied and would like to come back here.

We bought a nice car Ford s-max a week ago, very impressed and enthusiastic after a test run. We bought this car with after consultation to change front tires, and pick up the car a week later.
Car turned out to be neatly aligned including proof paper. Upon returning home about 160 KM further, the tires were not replaced. Stupid of myself not to pay attention to that, I think the enthusiasm is too great. But after a phone call, a garage company in our area was arranged by Seldenrijk who still changed the tires for us. So quickly and neatly solved. Keep it up, men, our next car will definitely be chosen first at Seldenrijk.

Very bad company with even worse aftercare for their customers.

The trouble started with the trade-in of a car. Everything turned out to be wrong with them and was only offered 1000 euros (I eventually sold the car elsewhere for 2500).

Eventually bought a nice car from Seldenrijk that turned out to be nothing wrong with it during a test drive. After buying the car and taking it home (150km), problems soon arose.

This garage has not investigated the car before selling it and does not proactively think along with the customer in solutions. Instead of canceling the purchase, this company chooses to leave their customers waiting with an endless view.

I've owned the car for two weeks now but haven't been allowed to see my parking lot for an hour. The car is only at a garage where little communication comes from.

In addition, defects on the cars are concealed and this only comes to light when you start about this yourself, for example repaired paint.

There will be no solution and we have to actively make calls at the back ourselves. We are sent from pillar to post without clear explanation.

There are beautiful occassions at this company, but if something turns out to be wrong with it afterwards, they just leave you in the cold.

UPDATE:
After 4 weeks of calling back and forth every day we finally got our money back. Seldenrijk also realized that it was hopeless to wait for the diagnosis any further. There was only something in return, I had to adjust my bad review to a good review.

This is the old review with an update. I do not have a good word for this company and therefore do not recommend this company to anyone.

After asking around with us in the region (Friesland) several times heard that Seldenrijk is a large dealer and does not check the cars thoroughly at all, such companies are certainly not worth my money.

What a great service !! I bought a 2016 Opel astra station on September 12, 2020. A diesel with 117000km on the clock. After having the car for 2 days, it turned out that there was an occasional malfunction, immediately addressed the warranty and went to a connected garage. Unfortunately, they found nothing, contacted Seldenrijk and they immediately addressed the problem. After driving a loan car for a few days, I got my car back. Saturday, March 3, 2018 bought our "new" Audi A4 here.

On Saturday morning we were called that the customer who had the first option on the car had not responded, so we were allowed to come by immediately to view the car!

What a beautiful location to start with! Cars are neatly lined up as far as possible and very clear.

Upon entering you will be kindly welcomed in the showroom by the receptionist. The first available seller is immediately notified that the appointment for the A4 has been received.
The car was neatly ready and could be turned completely inside-out.
A test drive? No problem! Completed the form and the car was ready with green plates and enough fuel.

Once after the test drive back at the location discussed a number of points and immediately discussed with the technical man who is present! Well arranged!

Despite the very competitive price, we could not have negotiated a small discount (if only for our own feeling of honor).

For our next car, and they have the right ones, we will definitely come here again!

A few months ago I bought a car whose MOT would expire within a month. This was not reported in advance, but I was able to discuss it, because it can of course be found online.

No guarantee, while posters are everywhere that they offer a guarantee. They don't do anything to the car. I don't even think they have a screwdriver there. It is not possible to give a totally unrealistic amount for the trade-in and negotiation with the price. Then why is there a salesperson? Can buy even better from a private individual because they do not have to recoup the expensive property. What a sof. This was a real waste of my time. They weren't even the cheaper ones. They don't do anything as stupid as fixing a bumper before you buy the car. Bizarre. For a car of 8000 euros you expect a little bit of service.

We are nicely helped by the seller mr. Jan despite the big crowds and some waiting time. After a test drive bought the car with 6 months warranty and a service turn according to instructions.
After a week we could pick up our car and we agreed that the car would be polished and updated optically. This was outsourced to an external company. For this, thick credit and a feather. Car nicely polished a picture including new car mats.
Seldenrijk is now a must for us.

Be extra alert after reading the reviews. Still decided to take a look and assess for yourself. My eyes were on a Volkswagen Golf 7 (Highline), it would only have some scratches on the left side of the rear bumper. Also an MOT and 2 new rear tires were needed. The trade-in price for my car was fine so I decided to go anyway. Upon arrival, the receptionist was friendly. We had to wait for the seller, even though no customers were present.

But in the end we were able to watch the wave. In the first instance a picture to see. After we had driven the car, you could clearly see that it had scratches and damage all around. The display immediately indicated that the wave needed a turn. The car was dirty and had a broken element in the rear support.

We had made the sales aware of this. To see if we could work it out together, he made a calculation for us. The trade-in price of my car was a whopping 1500, - lower !!! for no valid reason. In other words, a very disappointing experience! Lower trade-in price + a lot
extra costs not mentioned ( 875, -) and extra damage on the wave not mentioned.

In short, the reviews are here for a reason! And certainly not only concern the older cars. So be warned.

I got there on a Thursday. I can only be positive about the receptionist who was friendly and helpful.
It is also a chaotic company. All cars are crisscrossed. With a hard-to-read list, you can try to get out yourself. Employees are young guys who, if you ask them something, are not very helpful and don't seem to know.
When I finally found something interesting, I asked for a serious proposal to trade in my very good Golf with few kms on a newer one. "Please sit down". After 20 minutes of waiting, the boy finally comes back and tells casually: "We don't want to trade in your Golf". And then you let me wait for twenty minutes ...
Arrogant.

In short: if you don't want to waste a lot of time on a chaotic company, you better shop elsewhere

The salesman who arrived showed us the car, but test driving was not allowed just like that. They can't do that. A deal had to be made first. Because according to this company, a test drive does not convince you of the car you have in mind. A fresh counterpoint to acting customer-oriented. Indoctrinated of their own right and literally refusing a test drive indicates to me that this company is really all about money. Very nice showroom and a large choice of various neat occassions. Today bought a Fiat 500. First called and neatly managed expectations about number of appointments that were already there and that it would be very busy. The car was reserved for us in any case. When we arrived and looked for our way, staff knew about our arrival and where the car was ready. Extremely customer-friendly approached. We immediately got a key to view interior. Indeed, we had to wait a while before we were offered a test drive. Purchase then handled excellently by Antony Hartveld. Car can be taken directly. We are very satisfied with this company and recommend it wholeheartedly!

On Friday, September 28, 2018 a really beautiful Mitsubishi Carisma from 2000 for 1400 euros portrayed on the website. The gloss splashes off. According to the seller, the car was technically inspected that same evening. That is so unlikely that I see it no different than a lie.
I will never be there again.
