My husband and I were looking for a truck to help with home remodeling. We didn't want anything fancy or expensive and Seaview definitely helped with it. They had great customer service, super friendly and nice. Did not feel pressured into buying anything. Would recommend!

Seaview came around after a frustrating start and finished on a strong note
(Hence the 4 vs 5 stars.). From the get go I was being quoted the internet price for a vehicle I wanted delivered to Alaska for our company s use. Speaking with the initial salesman, who knew full well I was looking for delivery to Alaska, he kept telling me the price we had been discussing was the lowest he could go. When I decided to pull the trigger I was then told that price was only available if I had a trade-in and if I financed ($2,000 difference - $1,000 off for each of those items). He knew I was paying cash and knew I wouldn t have a trade because I am in Alaska. Not at all happy with the deception from him. Finally ditched the salesman and spoke to the fleet manager. We came to an agreeable deal after that very rough start. Following that, Seaview was great to work with. FedEx d paperwork for us to sign and delivered the truck to the carrier in Tacoma. Super simple and easy to work with. Just read all the fine print when it comes to pricing and watch out for a potentially less than forthright salesman.

Terrible. They lie to make sales and service department is really slow.

Upon purchasing a Tahoe, they confirmed that I get lifetime oil changes, then upon arriving for my first oil change, not free. They salesman confirmed it when I purchased the vehicle as I specifically asked, but then they failed to honor that.

Service department took 4 hours to put a new set of tires on the vehicle when I purchased it and also too almost 2 hours to change my oil (when I was the first customer in the door).

Overall, sales department doesn't keep their promises, and service department is expensive and really, really slow.

Stay Away from Seaview!!!

Bait-and-switch

We went to the dealership 3 weeks ago, planning to buy a used Mazda CX-9. Everything went well in the beginning - we took a ride and proceeded to the purchase. Unfortunately, we couldn't negotiate the price (also they have a poster saying that they "already offer the best price", so "there's no point to negotiate"). But that's ok - the value was good, and the car was in a good condition.

During the paperwork, the salesman told us multiple times that they're going to "honor the price of the vehicle". I don't really know what he meant by this, but this will be very important later.

As usual, they tried to sell us an extended warranty (~$4000), but we said "no". After which things started go weird. The salesman disappeared for 10 minutes and came back with a new total hand-written (!) price on the invoice, which was $2000 higher than it should be (excluding extended warranty). He tried everything so we wouldn't notice that fact. But I did the math and calculated that the numbers do not match. I asked a straightforward question - why the price of the vehicle increased?

Then again he disappeared for 5 minutes and came back telling that they put a wrong price on their website. But wait, aren't you honoring the price, I asked? So he answered, that it's just a little more - not a big deal.

I was so annoyed! Do you think I have time for stuff like that? What a joke - not a dealership! We just got up and left immediately for the good.

BTW, we went straight to another dealership and found a much better car for the same price. So in some sense, I'm glad it all turned out like this.

P.S. It was in the middle of the pandemic, and we were the only ones who wore a mask (properly). What a disregard to your customers!

P.P.S. Have they changed the price on the website? Ha-ha, of course not!

We bought a brand new vehicle for almost $30K in Seaview and the customer services is the worst we have ever experience. The management have no respect for their customers and don't seems to care. We thought it was only one time experience, but when we went back for service, it was even unbelievable...

They don't a damn how the customer feels and did not show any respect for the customer... For the rest of our lives we will remember the terrible customer service we got... The management sucks and they are simply unprofessional and disrespectful...

We will ensure that non of our friends or family get close to that dealership much more purchase something from there.... Your customer service is the same of the century... and you simply don't have the business ethics to be in this kind of business... shame...

We bought our pre-owned car from Seaview last week. The vehicle was well represented by the sales staff, and there was the usual negotiation before settling on a price. A last minute service issue with the vehicle turned out to be more difficult to resolve than anticipated. Joe (sales manager) followed through on his promise to fix the problem. He worked with the service department to ensure the issue was quickly resolved to our full satisfaction.

cannot be trusted when purchasing used vehicles. One month out I have had to spend close to $3000. Moreover their mechanics could not fix the issue which existed before the purchase. They asked me to come back later by then the deal was done. But they never fixed the TRMS indicator issue. Please trust me and do not go here. Absolute rip off and sham.

The timing belts - all of them are gone. Worst of all the catalytic converter required a replacement. I just want to tell these people that you are making a business out of fooling the customers. And that is what you are good at.

This was one of the places that I love purchasing cars from I told friends family almost about anybody but I take it back to an extent that I tried to trade my car in to buy an SUV but the lady that was always doing all of the deals for us is no longer working there long story short I bought the car for 8900 a 2011 Kia Optima they offered me $1,500 for the car after I explained that I paid 8900 9months ago I have the car fully serviced I bought new tires replace the windshield and one regulator and the car was in great condition Kelley Blue Book is at 7900 I figured I would get 6000 maybe even 5500 which I was fine with and then they went full price for their car the guy that I was dealing with his name is Joe I would definitely stay away from that guy he is the worst manager so good luck I will take my money somewhere else this is definitely not the same dealership that I remembered I can say it is more sad that a family-owned business has employees like that guy Joe that really doesn't know how to deal with customers I did also buy a couple cars from this place when the other person was working there her name was Britta and she was one of the best managers and person to buy a car from I don't feel like I got ripped off by buying that car for $8,900 at all so if you see a lady by the name Brita I would definitely buy a car from her but I don't think that's going to happen so this is probably definitely the last time I will ever go there I mean if I won the Powerball I would definitely buy this dealership and fire that guy

I recently took my new GMC 3500 in for its first oil change and service. The staff was courteous and provided timeline for service. I had an issue where the backup camera was staying on after going into drive. This repair required an extended stay. Staff was able expedite the part needed for the repair. I have had the truck back for several days now and have not encountered the issue again. Thanks to the Seaview service team for a job well done!

After an awful experience at another dealer, I contacted Seaview and they were very helpful and communication was great. Answered my questions quick and had the vehicle I wanted. Arrived a bit early for my appointment, but Gabriel took care of me immediately and was both personable and professional. The detailing and prep of the truck took a bit longer than expected, but otherwise great experience, including the finance process. Would recommend to friends and family.

It's ok. The last time we were in there we were taken care of well. The time before that, we went in squeaky brakes and left with them as"they were fine". Almost bought a car from them until they realized someone wanted to test drive the exact same truck, at which time they stopped negotiating with us and had a very take it or leave it attitude. They called us back a week later asking is if we still wanted it, but not after that experience.

Service was very quick, everything was perfect. My second time to have my GMC serviced here. Very clean facility, great staff and I was out in 45 minutes. Had an oil change and tire rotation. Changed to Seaview because the last dealer got more oil on the car than in the engine.

I can't think of a better car buying experience than purchasing my band's tour van through Seaview. I'm pretty skeptical of car salesman, but had a pretty refreshing experience at this car dealership. They treated me like a person were upfront about all of the costs, actually found something in my budget and helped me finance the vehicle at decent rate.

Thanks to Joe Jones we were able to get a pretty amazing, new vehicle we could rely on -- and it's still helping us get around the country years later with no breakdowns.

I just purchased a 2012 GMC Terrain from Seaview. I worked with them through USAA. They were fast, friendly and helpful. I explained exactly what I wanted and they found it. My wife loves her new car. They worked a great deal on my trade-in and their financing department saved me quite a bit on the APR. Our salesman Rob was awesome, he was very professional and helpful. There was no pressure or hassles or the typical waiting/negotiating game. Thank you Seaview and thank you Rob!

Positive purchasing experience from start to finish. Caleb helped take photos and videos to give me a feel before I visited which made my trip efficient. Day of purchase was smooth, appreciated interacting with experienced and professional staff. New vehicle pick up experience was outstanding. Cathy spent well over an hour walking me through all the specific functions and patiently explaining what I needed to know. She was helpful getting OnStar going. I can't comment on purchasing a car here but the service department is friendly and very competent. They have helped me out of some binds with other dealers and kept the cost reasonable in the process. I have a broken door handle on my driver door but have been putting off fixing it. My service adviser came to me and told me about it and said they could fix it as they had the parts in stock. I told them no that I didn't have the time and that I knew it was like that. He said since it happened in their shop, (which it didn't) that they would replace it for the cost of the part only with no labor and they could have me out in 20 minutes. Of course I did it! It was totally unnecessary as I was just there for an oil change but Seaview went the extra mile to leave me completely satisfied. This isn't an isolated incident either, they are like that all the time. Will be coming back here for a long time and I highly recommend that if you are looking for a good service department for your GMC that you don't look any further.

Seaview is an awesome dealership! I love the vehicle I purchased and the service has been excellent. They went the extra mile to find the exact dream car I had in mind. They totally explained every feature before I left the dealership and after driving it for several weeks, they went over any questions I developed after become more familiar with my car.
I highly recommend Seaview Buick GMC if you are in the market for a vehicle. They worked hard to earn my business and have lived up to their commitment to service after the sale.

I purchased a pre owned Audi A4 from Seaview. Jonathan and Gabe worked together to determine the best financing on an immaculate, low mileage car! To my disappointment, as I left their sales lot, a check engine light appeared. The Seaview team stepped up and reassured me that they would find a solution. David, in Service, made sure that repairs were done correctly and he offered a service loaner car for the time it took to assess and repair. This team made the best of what could have been a difficult situation. I must say that Seaview REALLY cares about their customer. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend Seaview for their high level of integrity. Thank you Seaview (Jonathan, Gabe and David) for setting the bar high for customer service! He replied they don't have any EV plug ins at all. Then he suggested we go over to Nissan across the street. Interesting how little interest he had in our want to look at vehicles. I went in to get my manual car evaluated. While I was talking to the salesperson(he was very nice and straight forward) the sales manager drove it. My, lord did the clutch smell after. I ve never smelt such a burnt clutch in my life. Of course the sales manager was flippant when I called to complain about my clutch. He claimed I burned it, and that he didn t do anything. This has been my daily commuter since I bought it without ever burning the clutch more than a hair. I tried contacting the gym and no response also.

TLDR: Burned my clutch so badly the interior smells of clutch, flippant and aggressive sales manager. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

With a 2018 Chevy Traverse that was purchased 3 days prior, I was very worried that it had a major mechanical problem. Keith on the front desk was calm, reassuring and efficient. The technicians found out some software for the transmission needed an update. I had my vehicle back in 2 hours and it has run beautifully ever since. Thank you to all at Seaview. The problem was not fixed - the check engine light came back on almost immediately after leaving the dealership. Further, in direct violation of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act I was instructed that further warranty work would not be done unless I changed a completely unrelated part back to OEM original, which because they failed to fix the problem the first time, I have been forced to do.

We went in to look at one car and left with two! These guys an gals are legit. I had been in the market to buy a car for a few months. They had the perfect car at a great price. We saw another one that caught our eye as well. We got a great deal on both. Gabriel was easy to deal with and their finance department was very knowledgeable; they saved us a ton of money by getting us the best deal. I will start by saying that this is the first time I have ever written a review like this. I thought I'd share that my experience with Joe Jones was excellent. I spent a total of 1.5 hours making and closing my deal. My time is valuable to me like it is to many others. To be fair, this vehicle is not my primary driver, I didn't have financing issues, and my trade was spotless (and they recognized it). If one of my family or friends were in the market for a GM product; I'd steer them to Joe at Seaview.

Will never go back. Should have paid attention to all the one star ratings here and on other search engines. Had an appointment for 8:00 Friday the 3rd of June, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. Took car in and told them what I wanted done including WASHING THE CAR. Told the driver who drove me to work not to call home, call me at work. At 3:30, called them and was told they couldn't get me AT HOME. Yea, wonder why. Said I need rear brakes...told them to keep the car and do the job. Said it would be ready Saturday a.m. Went in to pick it up around 3:00 on Saturday the 4th when they called. CAR WAS NOT WASHED. Guy said "don't have anyone to do it now". Told him they had the car for nearly TWO DAYS and I wouldn't be back. He said, "okay"...never sorry, never any reason. He could not have cared less. Shame on them and their lousy service. Will call and attempt to talk to the owner/manager on Monday.

On Friday night 01/15/2021 my wife's 2019 GMC Acad...

On Friday night 01/15/2021 my wife's 2019 GMC Acadia still under warranty battery conked out. We called Monday morning 01/18/2031 and was advised to bring it in. When we dropped it off we told them it was due for an oil change. As suspected and as a message said from OnStar said the battery was bad.
It took them over 24 hours to realize the battery was bad and replace it.
Tuesday mid morning we got a call the car was ready. We went to pick it up but the oil had not been changed as was written on the work order. We had to wait another hour because the techs did not read the work order.
I hope they will do a better job for us in the future.

But Rob at gmc was the most helpful, called to ask questions about more options and most importantly was trying to get me into the car i wanted. At the end im in the car i came in for with great pricing and payments. They really are here to help your needs and explore all options out there until your satisfied. I would most diffidently come back to buy a car here

The whole store is very comfortable to walk in. Nobody is pushy and everyone is very professional towards people searching for their brand new or used ride. I bought a 2019 express with 9,000 miles on it. I saved 10,000$ from brand new with zero miles. The store and the product they sell are top notch. Very relaxing and no pressure what s so ever. Please feel free to experience it yourself. You will not regret.

I pulled in to make an appointment, and the gentleman at the entrance told me they could do it now. Quite the surprise and 45 minutes later, l pulled away with a fresh Oil change. I totally appreciated him fitting me into the schedule. I found my new GMC Service dealership!

Not only were they friendly with me, but they were straightforward with me and provided me great finance options. I was in and out the door in 2 hours! I was impressed with David. He wasn't pushy or overbearing. When I drove onto the lot I was looking for a used vehicle I saw on car fax. Although I didn't see it, as I was slowly driving around looking over what was on the lot; David approached me. I told him I didn't see what I was looking for. He offered to show me something similar...I told him my price point and his response was why not consider a NEW car, and pointed out the Encore. I was surprised I could get a new car in my budget. It took some time because although David was a patient and professional salesman, I was a stubborn customer! After some negotiation, I left the dealership frustrated and confused. However, My son called and spoke to David, who went over what we had discussed...then called me and set me straight. The next day, I drove away in My beautiful new Encore! And, David has offered to go over some of the features (computer/phone stuff) more thoroughly with me on my day off. Very Pleased with the customer service David has extended to me, so far, throughout this whole car buying process!

I was contacted by Chris Brunson shortly after expressing an interest in one of their used cars (Mazda 3). He was low key with just an email "any questions?" - no hard sell. Talked to him on the phone, seemed like a nice guy, I thought. Still, I'd already been to a Mazda dealership who pretty much tried to diddle me on the interest rate and trade-in for my 2003 Toyota Matrix despite seeming like a "nice guy" so am very wary of "nice guys."

Don't go here overprice and if you take your vehicle for service you won't get it back in the same way that it was something new will be wrong with it in Randy or someone else in the service department will deny it and not own up to it because if Seaview this is the last GM vehicle I purchased in the meantime Clyde Motors in Everett is not dishonest and their sales representatives are not a bunch of scum like Sea View I hope this place goes out of business
