Never shopping here again. The date of delivery on a dryer I purchased, the last week of February, kept changing, this after being told it'd take a week to order, then two, then that it wouldn't arrive until April 6th. I called to confirm this date then two days later I was told it wouldn't arrive until the 20th. Then I was told I have to wait 7-10 days for my refund which means I have to wait to purchase a dryer I tried to buy seven weeks ago now...So frustrating. The salesperson was nice enough. The owner was fine. The delivery/installation guys were rude. Overall not a place I will ever shop at again
Went into the new sears in Gunnison and the sales lady amber was so helpful , the store was very well organize , and staff very helpful in all i inquire about .
The new store is MUCH nicer and MUCH bigger! The staff is very helpful and informative especially Amber she greeted me as soon as I came into the store with all questions answered! I WILL BE BACK!
Ordered a dishwasher the beginning of October, was told the arrival date of it to the store would be the end of October. Early November I call, and I m told that the dishwasher has been delayed until the end of November. Ok, whatever. It s a pandemic, makes sense. This happens again in December, and January, and mid February I go into the store only to find out my order had been canceled and I never received a refund. Got my refund and picked out a model that they had in stock. Turns out they gave me the display with no insulation. Now my dishwasher is installed with no insulation and is louder than it should be. I would never suggest going here.
Terrible customer service. First, I have to wait almost 3 weeks for my washer and dryer, which I accepted since we live in a remote place. Second, they don't call you with the time they will deliver your appliances to Mount Crested Butte until the night before. I was informed today that my washer and dryer will be delivered tomorrow between 9:30 and 10:30am and that somebody from the household has to be there the full time installation takes place. I and my husband have jobs that we cannot leave without prior arrangements and couldn't be home at this time. I told the woman 11:00 was the earliest someone could be there since we have work commitments the following day and are just finding this out at 5:00 the night before. She made me feel like I'm the first person ever to act like this is a problem and suggested that I knew about this weeks in advance, insinuating I should have just taken the whole day off from my job as a teacher to sit and wait around for Sears to deliver and appliance. This Sears is only in business because they are the only option in town for things like this. If they weren't, they would go out of business. I will avoid ever using them again, if possible. Ridiculous. Especially unacceptable to make me feel like I was the one putting them out.
Horrible Experience! Very rude. Tri-River Appliances in Montrose is the way to go.
My Dad's company purchased a Kenmore Dryer a few months ago, and tried to purchase a matching Washer unit this past week. I am very busy and thought it would be simple enough to place the order over the phone. I called on Friday (1/3) and found the matching unit, and nearly made the purchase but IO told him I needed to confirm with my father. I called back on Monday and tried to place the order. I was then told that I needed a Sears card. I told him that I thought I had nearly made the purchase a few days before, why can't I just use our company debit card? He said he couldn't do that. I called back a few days later and tried again. This time another customer service rep helped and explained that the reason is that there is a lot of fraud. I explained that I was born in Gunnison and that my father has run a business in Crested Butte since 1979 and purchased numerous appliances from Sears in Gunnison in the past, including the aforementioned Kenmore Dryer. I explained that I would like to purchase locally and that I don't have a lot of time to come down to Gunnison, can we just do this over the phone? She said she would ask her manager and call me back. Nothing. I called back today and was accused of attempting to defraud them and lying. (Trying to fraudulently purchase a Washer? That hardly even makes sense. C'mon man!)
Needless to say I am extremely insulted. I will certainly not do business with these people again.
The worst representative was a man named Taylor. Very rude.
Great customer service. Dude with long blond hair executes efficiently
Great customer service and a nice selection! Nicole Cremeen is always so friendly and helpful! Good experiences every time.
I've ordered a number of items from this store. All if which were ordered, delivered, and installed with no problem. Nicole was a huge help with finding our washer and dryer. The wait time for the items were reasonable considering the location. Would definitely recommend this place.
Bought a dishwasher and got info on wash machine. Nice to get some stuff locally.
Always helpful, they work with us to find the right products! Great store, highly recommend.
The staff was really great in helping me find a fridge that would fit in my house. The delivery guys were friendly and also helpful! I will shop there again!
We purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator 5 years ago. The compressor failed. The compressor has a 10 year warranty. What this Sears store does not tell you is that there is not a Sears service person for our area. Only a Sears service person can diagnose the failed compressor for it to be covered under the warranty. Be careful. The Gunnison Sears store is still selling this refrigerator and you will not be able to get it repaired under the 10 year warranty. And yes, I did talk to the store and the regional manager, Stewart Ferris, both of which will not take responsibility or help.
This is a great store with friendly and very helpful staff. They have great prices and customer service. We purchased a stackable washer and dryer unit last summer and have been very happy with it. I am glad there is a place in Gunnison to purchase appliances instead of driving 70 miles .
When you call they won't tell you if the have the right size in stock ? Kind of a worthless store. I'm going to ace
The Sears store is under new management. They are working very hard in difficult times to take care of all of their customers. You can find top shelf appliances here and they do deliver. They also provide excellent after sale service.
